I hope I'm posting this in the right area.
Trying to find out what I can about transport at Universal and Disney.

If someone stays at Universal on property is there a way to travel from there to any of the Disney properties?
Disney Springs, Parks, etc?

Last time we went to both parks at once we drove and it was 2004.
So trying to get all the info I can.

Just playing with the idea of going to Universal mainly, for Wizarding World, and possibly Animal Kingdom to see Pandora if we decided it.

Thanks for the help.

How many people do you have in your group?

I planning on using the Mears shuttle.
I have used it in the past from Disney to Universal without issue and from Universal to the Airport a few times

As a solo traveler I booked it round trip to Universal/Airport and two return trips to Disney for about 70 total
As you add people that price goes up though and I think you have to book it all together when you book the back and fourth to the airport.

Most people would probably recommend Uber or Lyft depending on how many people you have. Just be careful when booking them as depending on the time of day I think they can charge an extra fee

Then there are the car services - I think they run about $50 each way - but if you have two or three people thats not so bad.

In 2015, we used a taxi and it was about 50.00 each way plus tip. As one of the previous posters said, Mears is more economical and we will be looking into that for next years trip. You can also bus it, but it takes several hours due to route and stops.

There would only be two of us going if it turns out we can.

I just wasn't sure if there was a bus system between them or at least to Disney Springs or another place to switch over or something.

Uber did come up as an idea, but I was trying to see if there was a free way to do it.

Thanks for the help ^^

Nothing is free when it comes to the parks. (Transportation)

They aren't going to transport for free to a rival. :). Uber and Lyft will be $15-20.

It seems to be possible (although probably very slow) on public traportation and involves a transfer at the Central Station, which I believe is in Downtown Orlando.

There is a bus that runs from Disney world ( Disney springs) to international blvd

Older thread but still valid
