I haven't checked the rest of the thread yet... but I'm thinking she's enjoying the "package" so much we might not hear from her for a bit...

We did have a great weekend and it was really nice to surprise her! I wanted to THANK everyone who sent cards and presents. I know it really means alot to her that everyone thought of her

Ian and Suki get the prize though for the best card. When you opened the card it had this hunky guy shirtless and hed sing Happy Birthday and then if you rub his abs he starts giggling and would stop singing and say Stop....it was even more hilarious after we had a few beers and margs in us but we kept picking it up LOL

OK, I'm confused! You posted that around 6am Saturday morning? Weren't you sleeping? I thought we didn't get up until 10?

Yeah, we were too busy having fun! When you posted that, we were in between bingo sessions at the casino, playing slot machines during the break. We got to the casino just before the 12:30pm bingo session, played the 4:30 session too, slot machines the rest of the day/night (except for when Heather played card a few times), ended up getting home around 4am! LOL! I stayed up until 5, then we got up at 8am to get breakfast and get Heather to the airport. Quick but fun visit!

Oh yeah.....the night before was the surprise gathering after work. LOTS of fun, good Mexican food, a big beer, and big bag of cards & gifts! We left there and went to another place for 1 more drink, and were home by 10:30pm I think, but then opened everything and gabbed until pretty late.

A FEW? OK, she exaggerates a tiny bit here, LOL!!! She did have a BIG margarita (there's a couple pics of it), but didn't even drink 1/2, and I had a big beer plus a small one at the next place.

Yeah, I agree with all the thanks Heather said above! Sorry she beat me to it! And although I appreciated and loved everybody's cards, the card from Ian & Sukie is indeed the best I've ever seen!

& we'll be celebrating the QM's 79th birthday!!!

Ken, I think FE stuff is being organized on the 'main' threads for the two cruises.

I don't think the FE is an organized event. I think it was decided to do whatever on any day you want to. Mine is a joint venture with a large group.

Jackie... I don't think we need them... not that we can't join in the reindeer games... but it might be nice to do our own FE's... Lanyards, etc.

If I make it... I'll do the Lanyards... If not... Ian will all give you a piece of string and an envelope to keep your KTTW card safe...

I thought doing a Thieves and Friends Secret Mickey exchange would be fun.

I'm pretty much done with FE...except for when I cruise with any kids I may be bringing along with me or if there was an adults exchange (or an 'all consumables' exchange). I have a lifetime supply of stickers and pirate tatoos!
