After a quick change into our suits we headed down to the beach pool. My first thought when seeing it was um, wheres the rest of it.

The beach pool is small at the GF, nice and a great slide, but small pool. The quiet pool is much bigger. Now the beach pool does have zero entry, but no sand bottom and I was thinking how I couldnt wait for the sand bottom at BC when we switched later in the trip.
Sorry, I cant find the pool pics, dont know what happened

, if they turn up I will come back and post them.
Later in the trip I was talking to fellow Focker Jo and she asked if I went down the slide. Heck ya, of course I did, Im the biggest kid in the smallish pool. Silly Jo.
After swimming for a while we went back upstairs to shower and dress as we had an ADR for Grand Floridian Café. Originally it was for 1900 PF but Kelly said she didnt like the Evil step mother and didnt want to have dinner with her.
When we got back to the room the surprise I had arrange with concierge was waiting for her. It was a princess autograph book, a light up crown and a Cinderella pen.
the princess wearing her crown
It was now time to chow down.
I was very happy with the GFC, it is a nice place, nice menu. I started with the caesar salad. When it arrived I was sort of looking for the dressing, there was hardly any of it. I like the dressing light, but I also like to have enough to actually taste it too. For the main course Kelly ordered the pizza and I had the pasta with shrimp, asparagus, prosciutto with an asiago cheese sauce. The main course was much better, we both gave thumps up. I would love to come and try some of the other offerings on the menu.
After dinner we explored the lobby a bit before heading to MK for some after dinner rides.
We hoped on the monorail and so far the weather had been ok for us.
Well, until we stepped off the monorail and yeah it was raining.

On with the ponchos while still in the monorail station and off we go. I was determine to get my ride on.
Kelly wanted to do Speedway.
In the rain.
So we did.
And we got wet.
Really wet.
Well I got really wet cause as Kelly steered I held the hood of her poncho up so she could stay dry, while my hood, well lets just say, I might as well had a hoodless poncho.
But she loved it. She was grinning ear to ear. She had trouble reaching the peddle so I did that part. I told her how Grandma crashed the car in February and she thought that was hysterical.
Yeah, I still have the whiplash from that incident.
Next was Buzz, I was eager to beat Kelly at this, um I mean show Kelly Grandmas favorite ride. I of course steered and after I beat the rug rat,
Wait
Did you all really think I would let her win???
Who are the foolish mortals now?
BWHAHAHAHAHAHA
She insisted we ride again with her steering.
Whatevah.
Why, yes of course I let her steer,
Well sort of.
She would forget because she was concentrating so much on shooting, so I um, helped her steer.
Yes,that's right, I helped her.
And lookie there, I won again.
She called me Zurg.
And insisted on calling Grandma and tell her I cheated at Buzz again.
Yeah, great thats all I need is for Murph to have an ally.
Bunch of sore losers in the puggymom family.
Whatevah!
Next we rode TTA so Kelly could see Space and make sure that she wanted to ride it.
BTW - never thought we would need our hoodies in August, but it was chilly that night.
She definately wanted to ride Space but the wait was 40 minutes. I told her we would ride tomorrow morning. She spotted Astro Orbitor and since there was no line, yes it was a walk on, we took the elevator up.
I havent ridden this in years, line is always too much. So I was happy to have the opportunity to ride it, especially at night.
We saw the wait for Space was down to 20 minutes, but as we got there we were told it was down. With that we decided to call it a night and head back for some much needed sleep.
Next up - To sleep per chance to dream???
