Great update and pics, Mo! We stayed at the GF last year for two nights. I liked it, but wasn't overwhelmed. (Though we did not stay Concierge...gotta try that!) Your view is great.

Can't wait for more!

I don't think I would have liked it as much if not in the main building. With that said, I loved our room and location and it was hard to leave.

I think I'm in love. Financial ruin were I to stay there, but love.

This was a one time stay for me. Points for now. I figured out a way to get 3 trips next year on points, including FF 09 if that's still a go.

I was itching to get into a park and I was hungry, so once the luggage got there we headed for the monorail and Kelly’s first real monorail ride.

We entered the MK and the crowds didn’t look bad, considering it was EMH morning that day. Guess I should thank Fay for something.

Kelly wanted chickie nuggets, which so happen to be sold at the same place as the magic tuna. CHH here we come.

Uh-oh, they don’t sell chickie nuggets as a kids meal? Well, we’ll just order the regular one. The CM behind the counter still gave her a cookie, just handed her one with nothing said except a thank you from me.

I pointed Kelly upstairs to my favorite spot over looking the HM where we sat down for our first meal in the Motherland.

Now I didn’t get to CHH last time with Murph, so the last time I had the magic tuna was October and the bread was stale. Hoping it was just an off day I was really looking forward to one of my fav CS meals. And my CHH didn’t fail me this time.

Kelly was itching to ride and decided she wanted to go to HM after looking at it while eating. We finished our first meal and headed over to HM. Walked right into the stretching room. Not sure how Kelly was going to react I made sure she had my hand. I did fell a little tightening by her when the room went dark, but not too bad. We soon boarded our doom buggy and I was starting to think maybe this wasn’t a good idea. She was a trooper but at the end she stated the HM was rude because they called her a foolish mortal and she didn’t want to ride again. Yeah, I think it was an excuse not to ride again, but I let her think that she was just too insulted to ride again and made a joke of the whole episode so she actually laughs about it now.

After letting me take her pic, she decided she wanted to go swimming. Um, swimming, what about rides??? Nope, it was swimming time, good thing we were only a monorail ride away.

So our first trip into a park and we had a CS meal and one ride.

Next up where’s the rest of it?

BTW, I just noticed your pug and you are in NJ. I'm in Essex County.

You definitely named your TR appropriately! Yes, that's my pug baby Daisy as my avatar...she's 9 months old now. I just love the smacked up faces of pugs, they are too cute and such affectionate dogs. I'm in Southern Ocean County-LBI. It's not often I'm up in your neck of the woods, although I did drive through Essex on the way home from Rhode Island last week...I could have waved to you from the car!

ETA...I just noticed you have THREE puggies! I only wish-my DH would kill me if I even thought about another. I love the fawn colored ones...next time...have to work on DH for a bit though.

Hi there, I'm not familiar with you on the boards but I am jumping onto your TR. Hope you don't mind Your little niece is so adorable! I read the first 3 installments and it looks like y'all had fun so far. I can't believe when y'all finally got to MK Kelly only wanted to ride one ride and then go swimming? I hope she is willing to ride more later on in the trip. HM always scared me as a little girl too. That's funny that she played it off by saying she didn't want to ride it again because it was rude

Glad your Anchors away sandwich was good this time . I always order that too and sit upstairs becuase it's nice and quiet. I guess Kelly didn't like HM much. My poor DD didn't care for it either she said it was spooky but I'm mean and make her go every trip. Now she finally likes it . Too funny about the swimming, my kids are the same way. The pool is abig aprt of the vacation. Infortunately DH's work is bit slow so SAB is out for us now. Can't wait to read more , love your trip reports!!!
