Mommy is at the hospital. Daddy is taking her some clothes. I am staying at my house with MeMom. I can go to gymnastics. My baby sister is Bella. She was crying and I hold her.bbbbbvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv I'm Brooklynn.

The preceding was quoted. The bbbvvv part was Brooklynn's typing.

We are at Brooklynn's house now. Ben was lonely for company. Brooklynn and I are going to get some sleep. Jill and John will spend the night at the hospital getting used to midnight feedings again. Bella ate very well her first time nursing, so Jill was very pleased.

She was supposed to come on Tuesday. We all had plans for Tuesday. Bella decided she liked Sunday better. She is a beautiful little bit of a thing. She weighed 7 lbs. 13.6 oz. and is 20 inches long. She has a little bit of dark hair. She is perfect. She cried the first couple of hours, but then she settled in.

Jill is doing well. She was able to walk a few steps with help. She ate Cracker Barrel, which she loves, so she was very excited about that.

Brooklynn doesn't want to share Bella much. She likes keeping her in her sight. When I was holding Bella, Brooklynn said I wasn't sharing.
When Trent was holding her, she told Jill Bubby might throw her away! I hope she remembers this love when they are fighting like two mad cats in a few years.

It has been an exhausting night and day with little to no sleep for most of us, so we're going to try to get some sleep now. We appreciate all of your thoughts and well wishes. God has blessed Jill and John with a precious life to care for, and I know they will take that responsibility and privilege very seriously.

I had to laugh about Jill and her Cracker Barrel -- when one of my good friends had her first baby, my job was to go get her chicken and dumplings from Cracker Barrel afterwards.
