DN1: 6yr old nephew...saw preview of Mickey's PhilharMagic on Disney Channel...called just to tell his Aunt that MK had a new attraction. (Blake)
DN2: 19 yr old nephew...started UF this past summer, no summer vacation (Grad-Night @ MK torrential downpour) Disney gave all Seniors that night 1-day admission to any park.
GF: 19 yr old girl friend to DN2, went to same high-school and student @ UF, 1-day admission to any park.
Dsis: My Baby Sister & Mother to DN1 (has three other boys we left at home this trip) each boy has had trip to WDW with Mom. Each loved their one-on-one time.

Sunday Nov 16th
This was to be EMH @ MK with PHILHARMAGIC 1st on our list.
When I woke early I knew I wouldn't be able to go to a Park today. The Cow knee was about the size of large Florida Grapefruit I could walk but it just wasn't bending without shooting pain that would bring tears to my eyes...DN1 was watching me like a hawk so instead of crying out I would laugh loudly. After talking it over with Dsis she and DN1 decided to do AK today, after a quick breakfast and coffee for me from Roaring Fork,
they where off.
I must admit that spending more time with DN2 made me happier then going to any Park...he is half mine...I made my sister promise me this while she was in Labor...She would have agreed to almost anything...
I have always been every involved in his life, when I went somewhere he was with me. The trips together have become fewer because of school and starting at UF right after graduation. So today was great for me, he finished packing his luggage and moved everything over to my room...he and GF would have to leave today as they both have early classes tomorrow. My DN1 had picked up the Hidden Mickey sheet from Guest Services the night before and DN2 had never done the hunt for Mickey. He and GF decided to have a go, I stayed in room but now could move my knee a little, after about an hour they returned. I had told nephew of Memory Box that Fred a WL Vet had hidden and that I wanted to try and find so we headed out with a mission.
At apx 1:00 we start, as we are walking I tell them we must be careful not to let anyone see what we are doing as this is a stealth mission, also that we may encounter wildlife some friendly, some hostile....(DN2 informs GF and myself that during the early afternoon we wont be seeing any wildlife that all should be OK) We take about three steps......then we all jump startled as three beautiful deer run though the undergrowth..I look at GF as she looks at me then we both turn on DN2...."Ah, I ment raccoons." We started laughing then proceeded, we found the box and walked away from hiding location to look though contents I had explained about the box and how Majestic had started it last September, loved reading the cards and seeing mementoes. WE all loved the New York City Twin Towers post card that Starz723 left,"Thanks Marge,"we thought that it should be left with the box so everyone can experience seeing the New York Skyline as it once was. We pack everthing back in the box and placed it back in the hiddy place.
We walked back to the lodge to have late lunch at WCC and decide what I should add to the box. (Great lunch, Tumbleweed was our server)....We had a plan, DN and GF headed for DTD, and I would be ready to revisit the Memory Box to add my memento.
Dsis called after lunch she and DN1 had eaten at Rainforest Cafe & where headed to MGM. So I had some time to rest my knee.
Dsis returned first and we took DN1 to pool for a swim. While there DN2 and GF arrived, it was getting late and they still had to drive back to Gainesville, we decided to eat at Roaring Fork.
Then said our good-bys it was almost 8:00pm so told nephew to call when he got back to apartment.
DN1 wanted to go to Buttons & Bells Arcade so I ventured out for some one-on-one time with Blake we ended our night with watching EWP from the beach.
Dsis was beat from AK and MGM in one day I also turned in early with my cell phone next to me to receive DN2 call................woke the next morning 6:00am....NO CALL....tried his cell went to VMS...called the apartment went to answering machine...left word on both phones...CALL ME...now when he left last night he told me he was going to turn his cell phone off because battery was low that way he could at lest make a call out if they had an emergency. His phone at the apartment doesn't have long distance (roommate)
So maybe he forgot (never) maybe cell phone dead (possible) maybe he is asleep and doesn't hear phone in apartment(probable)..none of the above my DH..called me to let me know they were ok but had broken a belt just outside of Ocala and where waiting to have car repaired.....Both missed their morning classes.
