A TR..Surprises galore!MNSSHP,WishesDessertParty,Wishes Cruise -- Final Thoughts :(

I love all the cute Halloween merchandise!

That JC skipper looks really familiar. I think we had her on our trip in December. She was really good!

All caught up!

My mom's like yours in WDW. She doesn't like shopping normally. But at WDW she's all over it.

I could go crazy shopping for all the Halloween stuff!

She really was a good skipper. Kept us all laughing!

If you could have seen my mom. :lmao: I cannot even tell you how many times she asked when was the next time we were going to go shopping. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love the Halloween stuff!! Did you buy any of it??

I'm in love with the head-on-a-stick me story; haha. Too funny! I'd love to have seen you at security. "Yes, that's my friend's head..on a stick.." (Have you ever seen Jeff Dunham, the comedian?)

That Mary Poppins is really scarey; I wonder what it must feel like to be the scary Mary Poppins, though. Surely she doesn't think she really looks like the real deal. :confused3

Wow those paintings are gorgeous, I love the Pooh Bear and Piglet one and the Little Mermaid one :)

I did get the Mickey Head Pumpkin Tree (if that makes sense). I have it on my entertainment stand right now. I have other stuff from last year. I think that was the only thing that I ended up getting.

I had hoped that you'd like the Heather-Head-on-a-Stick! :lmao: I've never seen Jeff Dunham...that I know of at least.

That Mary Poppins was scary. Holy crap! I was hoping she'd leave quickly. Yikes. :scared1:

I wish I had a larger house. If so, I probably would have bought one this trip. This was the first trip in a long, long time that we didn't make a "large" purchase as we call them....well, we did get some stuff but nothing that was as expensive as one of those paintings. They were beautiful though.

We headed back to CSR and looked in Panchitos (again) for the infamous sweatshirt that mom wanted to get my sister. I took these before we headed back to our rooms:

Joe was in a ton of PAIN and needed a break. Yikes, I got worried since we had just really started our trip.

We did not have ADR's so we were trying to figure out where we wanted to go to eat. Joe suggested Maya Grille and as luck would have it, they had a table. I was a little worried about the menu and didn't think it was going to be a positive experience. We were all surprised. Here are pictures of our meals. Mom and I both had the skewers with the mushroom and the parmasean potato that was AMAZING! If I could have had 3 of those things as my meal that would have been fine with me!!!

We shared this for dessert:

We were all pleasantly surprised with our meals. Yum.....

We went back to our room to get a bag for some reason...oh yeah, mom wanted to "exchange" something already that she had gotten at DTD. Sheesh............

For the last 3 or more years mom has been giving me the business about wearing Crocs. She thinks that they are ugly and there is no way they can possibly be comfortable. Guess who left there with 2 PAIR????????? Um yeah, that would be my mother............

It was POURING again when as we made our way to DTD. We went to WoD first. We did a LOT of shopping here. I got gifts for family, friends and co-workers. We ended up having our packages shipped back to CSR. No way was I going to carry that load back! Joe was SO disappointed because the jewelry portion of the store was not open. He is a watch collector and he gets a watch each trip for his collection. Since we are AP holders we get 10% off which helps a lot. When we visited in May he had his eye on one that he didn't get and was thinking to get it this trip. I can't remember if it was a Skagan or what...something like that......yeah, he'd be mad if he knew that I don't remember...apparently I am suppose to remember this stuff!

After WoD it was time to do some damage in the Christmas store. This was trip #1 to the Christmas store. I didn't do too bad in that store. I left with 2 boxes of Christmas cards (I am calling to order more), 2 ornaments and a Lenox set of ornaments.

Next up was Goofy's. I wanted to check and see if there were any chocolate pretzels still on the dining plan. Just the basic ones according to the CM behind the counter. We left with a few snacks and were back in our rooms before 10 p.m. Pretty good for a night of shopping.

Next up DHS!

I love the pumpkin tree!! Good choice.

You HAVE to find a Jeff Dunham dvd and watch him; he's A-MAZING. But he's got this one puppet on a stick (the puppet calls it a steeeek.) So as soon as I saw my head on a stick, that's what I keep laughing about.

Will you post pics of what you got at the Christmas store??? I'm hoping to get some things for my new Disney tree!

We started our day with breakfast at BOMA. I didn't take food pictures here. Not sure why. I think it was because all I could think about was running over to the Mara and getting me zebra domes. Forget breakfast, bring on the frickin' domes people! My God, I love those things!

We had breakfast with Jenn and her family at BOMA. We were seated as soon as they arrived...apparently they had parking issues or something like that. :rolleyes1 Joe was sorry he didn't bring his parking pass. He knows where the best places to park are at AKL since we've stayed there before.

I remember that breakfast was fabulous. I loved it! I wish I had taken pictures.

After we ate we went to the Mara...for my domes...which I devoured in a split second...no time for pictures people!

By this time I think it was around 10 a.m. or so. We made our way to DHS. As soon as we got inside I remember that we could feel the heat. It was brutal that day from what my notes say.

We headed over to TSMM to see if we could get FP's. The ride was DOWN. It was DOWN....can you believe it? Ugh. They were still giving out FP's so we went over to get ours. Of course, the machine did not accept my AP's so we stood there for what felt like FOREVER until the CM could get me one. Mine was actually 5 minutes later than the rest of the group.

My mom was just itching to ride with me since every time we have ridden together she kicks my butt. Yeah, I feel like a dope.

I suggested that we go into One Man's Dream or the Animation Building. We started in One Man's Dream. I think Joe slept through the movie but in his defense, it was so freaking hot that once he got inside, he fell asleep!

Next we made our way over to the characters. I really, really wanted to see Fantasia Mickey. Turns out there were no lines...can you believe it! We got to see Mickey, the Incredibles, and the characters from Up. I have to say though, there WAS a wait for the UP characters. We were able to get a lot of nice PhotoPass pictures which I will upload once the CD gets here. (I ordered it today).

Jenn looks great. I on the other hand...look insane.

We did a little bit of looking in the shop. I love this shop. I found all sorts of things that I liked!

We went over to TSMM and it was a walk on. We didn't use our FP's yet and just walked right in. I think the wait was posted as 20 minutes, but there was no way. Straight up to the stairs we went. Um, guess what?? I WON THIS TIME! Yay me!

After TSMM we went over to VotLM. We were in the first room and then John decided he was going to take Jack over to LMA. The rest of us stayed for VotLM. I love this show. It is one of my favorites.

After the show we met up with John and Jack. Jenn took Kayla to ride ToT I think. The rest of us did the GMR. We were on the western side. It was a walk on too. We were hitting the lines just right today.

It started to rain AGAIN as we met up with Jenn and Kayla. Jenn got us pretzels and drinks and we waited for the rain to stop under the "hat". They were getting ready for the parade but it was close to our FP times for TSMM so we headed back over that way. We boarded our carts and wouldn't you know it.....three of the games did not work. They let us go through again. Yay, we did not have to unload and reload. This time mom creamed me. Ugh, what is up with that!

It was now time for our ADR's at 50's PTC. We made them early. Our server was slow...super, super slow! It took her forever to bring John's beer. So long that he got it on the house! Everyone got the pot roast but Joe. He had the meatloaf. Kayla had the kids chicken. John had the crabcake for an appetizer and Jenn had the ceasar salad. For dessert Jenn got the S'mores, mom and I had the cobbler, Joe had the hot fudge sundae and Kayla had fruit. I can't remember what John had. The food was good but this time, I felt that the pot roast was a bit fatty. I didn't take pictures again. I was in the back and it was hard to even move actually. I'd go back again just because I like the atmosphere. In our server's defense, I think they had her assigned to way too many tables!

After dinner we decided to head back to the resort. Jenn stayed longer with her family. Joe was hurting again and we just thought it best to go back for a break.

Next up...CSR's pool and "the gramma."

I thought the tree was cute too. :cutie:

I will ask Joe to get a DVD so that we can watch it. I bet he knows who he is.

I packed all of the ornaments away already but the next time I got up in the attic I will bring them down and take pictures. One broke in shipment but it can be easily glued back together. Heather, I LOVE that store. If Joe told me that I could shop in only ONE SINGLE store, that would be it! I went back for round two of shopping there later on in the trip.

How did I miss so many updates?! All of your pictures are amazing!

Those tip envelopes are adorable, I might need to make those. How'd you do it?

The pics of GF are making me want to switch my ressie to there....Anyways, the decorations for Halloween in MK look awesome.

I'm glad you got to have your zebra domes!! Do you know if they count as a snack credit on the dining plan?

Sounds like a good day. V cool that the character photos were no wait, I love that when it happens.

So you managed to walk on to TSMM twice and still have your FP's? Do you think the hype for this ride is dying down now? DF is gearing himself up for the walking/running madness for FP's there at rope drop when we go.

Some great pictures, love the Beauty and the Beast artwork :)

I'm finally caught up. Great updates and great pics!

Thanks. Still uploading pictures. It becomes a pain because we used more than one camera.

I used my scrapbooking stuff to make the tip envelopes. It was fun actually. I used the Waltograph font, printed them, then decorated. Hee hee.

GF is pretty but man, the lobby gets packed! Joe and I were noticing how crowded their lobby gets, both in the morning and in the evenings. We say three brides on our anniversary....three! Lots of activity there.

Yes, zebra domes are snackcredits. There were 5 of them in each container. Honestly, those things are amazing.

I think it depends on the time of year that you go. We did end up using our FP's though but there still wasn't a long wait. I want to say that the sign said 70 minutes when we used them but the queue didn't look anywhere close to that.

I'm not sure the hype is dying down though. I think it is all in what time of the year you visit and what the crowds are like. We were there at the end of May and it wasn't bad then either BUT the lines were WAY longer. I think this time that since the ride was down a lot of people just never made it back to check when it went back up again. If you get there at rope drop, and "briskly" make your way back there, I think you'll be fine. So far, it has worked for us every time, no matter what time of the year we go!

Beauty and the Best is my favorite.

I feel like I'm reading dueling trippies... I'm in!! great pics and updates!!
