(BTW, way to rep that Steelers shirt!!! I don't know if you saw what I wrote on her pic, but Brad saw one of Joe on Jenn's Facebook album and he goes "THAT'S THE STEELERS GUY!!" I asked him how on earth he knew that, and he says "I can just tell!" Joe wasn't wearing a shirt or anything; some sort of Steelers power??)

Aw the room decorations look cute! Sorry no one responded I would if I was there!!! Joe's dessert from CSR looks AMAZING!! What was it? Sorry you had so much trouble with those boxes...they probably only charge at CSR since it's a convention resort or something!

What did you put in the gift baskets for the kiddos? My sister and her husband are taking their kids to WDW right after I go and I want to do the same thing. I found a couple of things but I need more. I'd love some ideas!

Joe said his dessert was pretty good but he said that was what he had at TRex...doesn't make sense though given where the picture was on the camera.....

I was really mad about the box charges. What kind of crap is that!

I shopped for about 3 months for the baskets. I would go to the Disney Store at "Great Nothing" ... you are probably asking if I mean Great Northern and yes, I do . I also found stuff at Big Lots, but I was picky about the quality. Believe it or not Walgreen's had some nice stuff too. There was a little bit of everything. I had a fun time making them. My office was FILLED with Disney stuff!

I left off with us getting ready to go to DTD for dinner and dessert (is there on "s" or two in that word? I could never remember???) at TRex with Jenn and her family and Kelly and her family.

It was really muggy and you could tell that it would rain again.

We made our way to DTD and had planned to meet at Earl for dinner. I love that place. I sat next to Kayla. Doesn't she look ready to party?!!

Please forgive the picture quality here. I was using the point and shoot and didn't want to drag out the SLR in the rain.

Joe had this:

Mom and I had soup. I had tomato which was EXCELLENT!

I didn't take a picture of mom's soup but I think she had chicken noodle? Can't remember. As usual, Earl's was EXCELLENT!

Kelly and her family joined us for dinner too and we were finally able to meet them. I had heard so much about them from Jenn and they were awesome!

After Earl we did a bit of shopping since we had time before our ressies at T-Rex. First stop for me was Tren-D as I was DETERMINED to find the purses made of recycled candy wrappers. SCORE! I got one...but I have not taken a picture of it yet. I also picked up some note pads for the girls at work that were super cute.

It started to rain again just as we were headed over to TRex:

I was hoping that we would all get to sit together but they split us up into two tables. I took a few food pics. Mom had the bruchetta...she was not in the mood for dessert.

I had the donuts...they SO reminded me of the "bag of donuts" that you can get at Smokey Bones.

Jack was really enjoying his pudding. Is he cute or what???

After we ate the kids wanted to play outside in the little dig site.

It was beginning to rain a bit more so Joe, mom and I headed out. We made a pit stop through World of Disney but it was CROWDED...probably because of the rain.

We went back to the resort and chilled since we had an early ADR at 1900 PF the next morning.

A few minutes after we got back, so did Jenn.....SURPRISE #3 of the trip........

Little back story here.......

Jenn was kind enough to invite Joe and I to Jack's birthday party earlier this year. We had an awesome time and hope they we get invited back again (did you hear that Jenn...hint...hint). They live about 6 hours away so we went for a few days (see a mini-TR in my PTR). We were getting things set up for the party and there was so much food, etc. that we ran out of serving spoons. Joe and I decided to make a funny and get her and John THIS which was waiting for them when they got back! Ha Ha!

We talked for a bit then settled in for a decent night's sleep.............

Up next....1900 PF, Magic Kingdom and more rain.

TRex was pretty good over all but we didn't get any food aside from mom's brushetta (or however you spell that) which was excellent. It was very loud in there though....loud to the point of nearly being annoying. I'd definitely go back though!

T-Rex is a lot like Rainforest. I want to go back to try the food because what my mom had was excellent. I just don't know if I can stand how loud it gets in there!

It is very loud. We had more dessert than we did food. What my mom had was super which is the ONLY reason why I would go back. Next trip, maybe not...but maybe some time in the future.

We woke up bright an early on Sunday and ready to try 1900PF for the first time. We made our way over to the GF. Here is the first time that Joe missed his parking pass...which he left back home in his car! Most of the time we valet park when we can, due to his disability. This time we used "self-park" instead. Holy crap........it is FAR from the GF!!!! We parked the car and started walking over. We saw Jenn and her family arrive so we hung out a bit and waited for them so that we could walk together.

My camera lens was in shock from leaving the AC and going out into the hot, humid air so I didn't get any decent shots until we got inside.

We had not had breakfast at 1900 yet. We stopped and had our pictures taken with the FP guy. Once I get the CD back (I prepaid) I will post the picture. It came out cute actually.

I'd say that the food was ok. I wasn't overly impressed but I'd go back again. Jenn's daughter Kayla and I were at the buffet at the same time. We had a nice flow of characters though and each time she'd look at me and say "can you hold this?" "This" was her plate....so she could run back and see the characters. So cute.

I was excited because this was the first day that I was able to use my little tip envelopes. I used my scrapbooking stuff and made tip envelopes for this trip. Too bad I didn't take pictures of too many of them. In fact, I wonder if this was the only one. I had also included my CM thank you cards inside along with the tip.

We waited for John to get Jenn's sunglasses so we had the time to wonder around the GF lobby for a few minutes. I took this picture from the inside of one of the gift shops looking out.

We left GF after breakfast and took the Monorail over to the MK. Here are a few more pictures that I took before we left:

All I could think about was the LONG walk back to car so I was happy that we were taking the Monorail instead of going back to the car and then driving over. Isn't it funny how you can walk for MILES in the parks but walking to the car is a killer???

My favorite time of the year at MK is Halloween. I love it even more than Christmas there I think. Once we got there we tried to organize ourselves and go through the security check point. Joe never has any bags so he is the one waiting for us on the other side.

As soon as we got in Jenn spotted Daisy Duck.

They stood in line for Daisy while Joe, mom and I took in the sights of the MK.

It was so nice to take this slow. It was a relaxing visit instead of my usual commando style of touring.

Joe, Mom and I went into the Emporium to browse. I saw a few things that I really liked.

One thing about my mom...she is ALL about shopping when we go to Disney. She has her little list ready to go the second we get off of the plane. Kinda funny to see her in action with the list.

After browsing we met up with Jenn and went to get Jack his first set of ears. Mom had been saying for nearly a year that she wanted a hat to protect her from the sun. She tried on a couple. In the end, she decided that she is NOT a hat person and was not going to get one!

From there we moved down Main Street inside the stores. Joe and Jenn spotted the vinylmations. They were the holiday ones. I think Joe got two and Jenn got one. Joe ended up getting one of the ones he had wanted. Believe me, those were NOT the only ones we came home with. That is just as addicting as pin trading!

I took a few pictures while I waited for them to shop.

After that we were headed down Main Street...just in time for this!!! Yay! I was wondering if we'd be able to catch this celebration!

We headed over to Adventureland next. For some reason, Joe and I ALWAYS go there first. Feels like it is against the traffic or something.

Jenn had wanted to try a Dole Whip and Joe was ready for one so we stopped.

Next up was the Jungle Cruise.

I had not ridden in ages and it was nearly a walk on. Joe decided that he had to play with the freaking boats outside the JC so there we were waiting on him! I was so dang mad!!!!!!! We had to let ALL these people file by us. In the end though, I think it was worth it because we had an awesome skipper on our adventure!

As the boat was pulling into the dock it started to POUR...and I mean POUR. The CM's let us stay in the FP section for a bit so we would not get soaked. John went back to get Jenn's stroller and then we headed over to PotC. Can you say WALK ON! Yay!

I know it says 10 minutes but there is NO WAY we waited that long!

I just love this ride. I will not however attempt pictures on the ride anymore. They come out craptastic without using flash but I hate when people use flash on that ride!

Mom spotted this flower near the attraction and we thought it was pretty:

After PotC, Jenn spotted Wendy Darling and Peter Pan. While they waited in line with the kids, Joe, mom and I sat at a table and got wet by crazy birds walking around on the umbrellas filled with water. It was sorta funny in a way. Right about that time I got a text from a Diser that we were anxious to meet.......Amanda. Yay! She was over in line to meet Hook and was going to text us when she was finished.

We were getting a bit hungry so mom, Joe and I headed to Pecos Bills and Jenn and her family went to meet Hook and grab a snack. As luck would have it, we all finished around the same time.

We decided to head over to BTMRR and see what the wait was. Just as we got there, we got a text from Amanda so we hung out instead to see if we could get to meet her and her family.

We were suppose to meet another Diser, Heather but she had to change her trip so instead, I made a "flat Heather." I took a picture from her FB page, enlarged it, and laminated it. Joe then attached it to a paint stick. Yeah, I looked like a dork trying to get that thing through security. Joe made me pack it in my luggage for the flight down. Please say a prayer for Heather. Her mom survived breast cancer and was just diagnosed with skin cancer.

We met Amanda and her family at BTMRR. They were so sweet! I only wish we could have spent more time together. Her dad is a Diser too so it was nice to meet him as well as the rest of her family. Of course, we took pictures. Of course, none with my camera......either of them! Now that I think about it, I could kick myself. Stupid me.

From there we decided that we needed a break. Mom, Joe and I stopped at Panchitos before going back to the room. Remember mom's shopping list? Well, there was a sweatshirt that she wanted to get my sister and we were on a mission to find that!
