A TR..Surprises galore!MNSSHP,WishesDessertParty,Wishes Cruise -- Final Thoughts :(

I LOVE the looks of the boardwalk.. even though I don't live from the N.J. shore lol. Then again I love going to the boardwalk in NJ during the summer, so it makes sense I would like it in Disney!!

Also, Kouzina looks kinda yum... the desserts look to die for anyways LOL

I love the Boardwalk. It's so nice there.

Kouzzina was awesome. :)

OMG! BREAD PUDDING!!! I didn't know that was there! I'm so ready for that meal! Mom is going to be stoked; she loves bread pudding! (Please tell me it was good!)

Oh man; I think I gained 5lbs just looking at your pics of Kouzzina. Haha.

Are you guys watching the game tonight? I have a very unhappy DH with how they've been playing this season. I'm hoping they don't make more stupid mistakes tonight - ie no more dropping the ball in the endzone and missing field goals. D'oh!

Bread pudding was good. It's banana bread pudding I think. I just remember that I liked it.

Yes, we are watching the game tonight!

I loved the DAK pics but I am sorry you didn't get to see the kitty! They are my favorite part of AK, especially the tigers on the jungle trek. I don't remember the last time I saw the parade there but I think I'll miss it again this time too.

I'm sorry Joe was in so much pain but glad he felt better before dinner at Kouzzina. We're going to breakfast there so it was nice to see pictures of the inside. I loved all your pics from BWI, too!

I can't wait to hear your review of Kouzzina for breakfast. We loved it for dinner and it is now a must do for our family.

Speaking of kitties....I know that you know that I lost Dino in July. :sad1: Well, I lost Murray earlier this week. :sad1::sad1: I am so devastated that I still really can't even talk about it. :sad2::sad2: The girls (I have two girls left) are walking around trying to figure out what's going on. First they lost Dino and now Murray. It's been a hard week in our house.

I am so so sorry to hear that. I know how bad it hurts to lose a pet, I can't imagine losing two so close together. I also know that when a pet dies, no one can say anything to make you feel better. I'm glad you still have the two girls and hopefully that will help you feel better. I'm thinking about you!

I don't know the price difference is when it's Flower/Garden Festival time. I've been there at that time before but didn't notice any price difference.

Actually, I am not a jungle juice fan. Joe usually drinks mine and his. :lmao: I think I'm the only one that I know that doesn't care for it. :confused3

It was very bumpy in the last row on KS. We were bouncing all over the place. I was a tad bit worried about our camera. It's quite heavy, especially with one of the larger lenses on it and I was afraid it would just fly out of my hands. It didn't though which was a good thing.

I'd love to visit London some day. It looks like an amazing city.

I'm getting ready to write about Kouzzina now.

Cannot believe you do not like JJ  Its the best!

Gosh, so you got a real safari feel then, defo trying this out next year. How was it on DH's back though?

Kouzzina looks yumma, those loukoumathes esp :)

Just joining in on you TR and wanted to say Howdy Neighbor. Looks like you were having a great time. We also were there from 9/15-9/21.

I too love loukoumathes and save my calories to get them at the Greek Festival at St. Demitrios Church.

Can't wait to read more.

Joe and I both had the pastitio (for my friend Beka....aka lasagna). It was incredible. Actually, Joe asked me if they had my dad back there cooking for them or something. :lmao: We LOVED it. The portions were huge though and there was no way we could finish what we had.

Holla! OMG, that was soooooo good! We didn't have dessert but I think we'll have to try it next time!

Thanks.

Yum! That looked and sounded like a fantastic meal!

Denise

We voted it the best of our trip!

Nope, not a fan of the JJ. :scared1:

DH's back was not good after KS. :sad2: I think it set him over the edge with his pain. :sad2:

Hey, thanks for joining. St. Demitrios is my church. Small world, isn't it???

Can't believe we were there at the same time. :thumbsup2 We go the same week every year.

Beka, I thought of you when I placed my order. I figured that was what you had when you said "lasagna."

Next up was Epcot.

We left bright and early and drove over to Epcot. This was the first time I remembered to do this.

DisneySept09Vol1238.jpg

I love Epcot. Our family has 4 Leave a Legacy's. I am so sad that they don't sell them any longer.

I was picture happy today.

Aside from World of Disney, this is my favorite place to shop.

I took these on our way over to our breakfast ADR.

Here is Joe messing with the camera while we were waiting to get seated.

Joe and mom. She looks a bit strange in this picture, doesn't she?

Joe and I -- I look like a total dork

DisneySept09Vol1319-1.jpg

This morning's breakfast was at Akershus. I was excited to meet Belle as she is my favorite princess. I had my camera on me so I don't have any pictures of us with Belle. But I have these. :sad2:

DisneySept09Vol1322.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1328.jpg

Here is my plate from the buffet part of the meal. I didn't take any pictures of what they brought us family style. I have a new found liking to strawberry yogurt which I have disliked in the past.

DisneySept09Vol1331-1.jpg

Of course, it was mayhem again. We were unable to sit together, again, but what can we do? I just figured it would be like that for the rest of the trip and we would just go with it.

All of the princesses stated to come around. We didn't have kids at our table so they didn't stay too long and we didn't get many shots of them.

First was Aurora. She was very nice.

DisneySept09Vol1334.jpg

Next was Snow White, who Joe said was "spot on." Said she was the best princess of the trip.

DisneySept09Vol1338.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1341-1.jpg

Next was Ariel, Joe's favorite. I wasn't impressed with her though. She wasn't very friendly:

DisneySept09Vol1345.jpg

Then, Cinderella. Man, she was not nice for some reason. Don't know what the deal was, but sheesh.........

DisneySept09Vol1359.jpg

Breakfast was good. It's a great place for princess interaction. We'll go again, but it's not going to be a yearly thing for us.

After we left there it took us a while to get going. Yeah, I was bored and yeah, I am a dork that wears sox with my crocs.

DisneySept09Vol1369.jpg

Today was Future World day so we headed back over. We spotted Marie and from what I've read, that's saying something. Apparently she is hard to find.

DisneySept09Vol1381-1.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1391.jpg

Joe being goofy.......

DisneySept09Vol1401-1.jpg

And then, there they were............new Disney employees, first day on the job. Talk about jealous!! Holy crap people, I wanted to sneak in the group and be on my way. We did a whole lot of cheering for them after they took their "oath" or whatever it was that was going on over there.

DisneySept09Vol1403.jpg

After much discussion we decided to go on Test Track next.

DisneySept09Vol1406.jpg

Jack wasn't quite tall enough for the ride

DisneySept09Vol1409.jpg

What a bummer that was. I felt bad. John, Kayla, Joe and I went on. I think it said it was 10 or 20 minutes however we walked right on.

After that we went into Innoventions. Can't remember which one but we did a few games including the garbage game, the recycle game, the piggy back game and the fire game. It was fun. I've never spent the time doing these games but am glad that we did this time.

DisneySept09Vol1422.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1436.jpg

We also did the Visa Meet and Greet and hit the character jackpot! We met Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. Yay, Disney Visa. Joe and I both have them but he didn't bring his so we got just one free picture.

Next up was SSE. I love this attraction. Mom was walking with Jack and grabbed on to him before he hit the moving walkway...they rode together. Mom said that it was cute when it got really dark she could feel him grab on to her tightly.

DisneySept09Vol1449.jpg

DisneySept09Vol1451.jpg

Yep, he loves to take pictures of himself. LOL

DisneySept09Vol1453-1.jpg

Joe, mom and I went into Mouse Gear for a gift, which I will tell you about later. We then went to the Electric Umbrella for a bite to eat before taking our break for the day and going back to CSR.

Next up....BIG surprise at Illuminations. What could it be?????

Sophia.. that Ariel was ridiculous! seriously.and doesn't cinderella look older?? lol

and omg.. do people say yinz in Ohio? I say it every once in a while and no one knows what it means bwhaah!

Hang onto that surprise...also, I will have to email you pics and you me! I'll email you the link to my photo bucket and the password and you can lemme knwo which you want!

Wonderful pictures of Epcot.

I hear that Akershus is hit and miss with people, sometimes its a great experience with princesses but not great food, other times its great food and not so great experience with the princesses. Me and DF are in two minds about doing the breakfast here. I want to do dinner at CRT so figure this would be a good replacement for not seeing the Princesses at Lunch or Breakfast (or whenever they are out at CRT).

Poor little Jack, hopefully next year he will be big enough to ride TT

Ooooh tell me more about this big surprise :)

She was ridiculous, wasn't she? And I did not like that Cinderella too much either.

I got the Yinz for my Crocs in PA. Nope, they don't say it here. :lmao:

I guess I can hang on to the surprise for another day (wink, wink). It's just you and Stefy reading (pity party for myself here) and I don't want to keep her waiting too long............... popcorn::

I agree that Akersus is a hit or miss. It was much better the first time that we were there but that was years ago so I really don't have much of a comparison.

You may like CRT. We loved the breakfast but do not like dinner there at all. We tried it more than once but the last time decided that the food isn't all that great. You see Cindy downstairs but no princesses at dinner from what I can remember. Just the Fairy Godmother. I could be wrong though. I'd do breakfast there again in a heartbeat though.

I'm sure Jack will be tall enough next year. He just barely made it this year.

Jenn wants me to hold the surprise :rolleyes1 however it shouldn't be too long.

Thanks for reading Stefy!

ahhahaha.. my old spanish teacher used to say yinz..only person I have ever heard say it!

Love the update....great pictures.

We had an absolutely awful Ariel when we went to the lunch at Akershus two years ago.
