A Ten Day Ride on A Magic Camel - Almost Finished Trip Report

With Tyler's approval, I took a picture, and I told him I'd put it in the report. If you're headed for Disney World, you might want to meet up with this nice young man. He works behind the scenes in SpectroMagic. He was very nice to talk to, and he told us lots of fun things thoughout the parade.

That is fun that you guys met up with him!!

Sorry I've left you sitting on the curb in mid-parade since Wednesday. I know you must be sunburned and have very sore bums by now.

I didn't have to sit for very long ....I've been MIA this week, just busy. But I'm glad you had a wonderful time at Camp and welcome home

VandyFan10 and punkin are planning an awesome girl trip.

I've got to get to making my countdown calendar. We'll be under 30 days before I know it!!! I can't WAIT!!

We would be having an early dinner with these guys after the parade.

EEYORE!!! My fave!! I dont' know why I like him so much b/c he sooooo saaaaaad, and not at all like myself. But I have always just LOVED him!
We had dinner at CP right after the parade also. It was a great meal, but it was crazy there being right after the parade

This guy gives me the heebie-jeebies.

My nextdoor neighbors little girl call's him Jasmine's daddy . She is going next month with her family for her 3rd birthday!! I'm so excited for her!

Donald is one of Brooklynn's favorites. She seems to really light up when she sees him.

Looks like he was looking right at her! That is SO fun!!

MEMOM YOUR CAMERA IS AWESOME!!!!!! Those are some GREAT pictures!!!!!!! I dont' know that our schedule is going to make it b/c most of mine and Dawn's time at MK seems to be at night but we are going to watch this parade if we can. I actually have never seen the whole thing!

Great update and I love all the parade pictures. Our DD's don't care much for parades so we haven't seen this one, so it was very fun to get to see all your great pictures. I'm hoping maybe we can actually catch at least a little of some of the parades this trip. But if not, I'll just keeping enjoying the pictures you have. They really are great.

Ok, I had to go check after you asked. Ohio's wild animal is the white tailed deer. See, now I learned something new to day. Too cool. To bad I don't have a picture of Bambi to post.

i think you've got the evil queen mixed up with maleficent! maleficent is my girl!!!!!! i would definitely invite her to my party. don't know what king stephan's problem is! but hey, i'd take the part of the evil queen if it was offered to me! i may be too short to play maleficent. and not green enough.

Do you know your state wild animal? If so, feel free to share.

i'm just taking a wild guess here, but maybe georgia's is the redneck??? i've seen this wild animal out and about here, especially on UGA game days.

It had already been a wonderful, magical day. We had spent relaxing time at the pool with Brooklynn, and now we were on Main Street, Disney World after the parade. A person could be very happy with a day like that, I would think.

Yep, I'm still operating on an overworked brain. I knew the Malificent thing. I think I even put a bouncing green-faced girl in one of my posts to or about you on this TR or on yours.

I wanted to wait until I had full brain capacity until I finished the parade posts. Apparently, I didn't wait quite long enough.

no worries! like i said, i would definitely take the job of playing the evil queen if it was offered to me! she has a bigger part in fantasmic anyway. the actual maleficent is only there for a few seconds before the big dragon comes out. the evil queen gets to do a really cool part where she casts the spell or whatever. have you ever watched her movements as she's doing that? they're so awesome!

As for the WV state animal.....I am pretty sure it is the Black Bear, but I will have to look it up to be sure!

Of course, I had to look up what our state wild animal is -- I guess we don't have one -- we have a state amphibian, a state bird, a state insect, a state marine mammal, but apparentely no state wild animal -- unless Punkin is right, and it is a redneck!

Judging by what I see the most of on the side of the road, I am going to say it's the possum!

I want to make it a point to see that parade if it's still around the next time we go, because your pictures are gorgeous! The only parade that we (well, the girls) make it a point to watch is SpectroMagic. All of us watched the parade at the Pirate and Princess party.

I decided to look up Massachusetts' state animal, just out of curiosity. We have a state bird, game bird, fish, horse, bug, cat, dog (the state dog is a Boston terrier, imagine that!), and a wealth of other things. Thank you for inspiring me to find things about my home state.

I will be patiently waiting for the next installment. I am glad that camp went well.

That's what we tell our students! There's so much out there to know. I love going to Animal Kingdom and learning new things about all of the animals, but I would need weeks to absorb everything I'd like to. Too bad we're not close enough to make it a field trip!!!

Told a little white lie the other day. I mentioned that while we were travelling, we may go to New Hampshire where there was a HUGE Disney Store (well there could be one). DS said no, he'd rather wait until we go to the real Disney next year and pick out something himself. Hmmm....

Yeah, I'm still silently waiting out here to find out how this all plays out.

Is this the week he is doing Science/Math camp?



By the way, did anyone notice I multi-quoted??? Jill told me how to do it before, but I didn't catch it, and I keep meaning to ask her again. I started playing with it, and I think I accidentally got it.
