Well, I finally caught up an all your posts here. First of all, I have you to thank for my new fascination with Corn Dog Nuggets and Casey's. When we visited in October last year, I told DBF that we had to try these things - oh my goodness. We booked a trip for next month, and those little puppies are on the MUST HAVE list. =)
Also, wanted to say that I really love your detailed pictures of the Kidani rooms. I have been seriously considering buying into DVC in a year or two (if I have the cash on hand - we'll see - we're house hunting now, so that is first priority), and the pictures are helping me decide what resales I want to go after. Those places are gorgeous!! The decor is spot on for me. Some of the timeshares are in great locations, but I don't care for the furnishings.
I was sad to read that you had to sell, but glad to hear that it looked like you might be able to sell your house soon. I have friends who live in NYC, and I know how much they love it. I hope that you get things settled soon - there is going to be so much for your little man to experience in the big city!

Yes Brook I did get my Shamrock Shake. As a matter of fact I have had at least 4 or 5 since I last posted

So sorry to hear about the people that looked at your house. How awful!! I hope they recover quickly. Best of luck with selling your house. Spring time always seems to be a good time for home sales. Let's hope that proves to be true for you.

Just stopping by to say "Hi". Hope things are moving along on the house front. I did not even realize you were moving. That sounds like a major change, but hopefully one for the better. Now you can join the ranks of all the DVC owners residing in the Northeast. There are so many of us (although I am techically midatlantic).

Hi everyone!
Things here are going well! The house hasn't sold yet, but we have had a good number of showings and a few interested people again. However, no actual BITES. We lowered the price again (will go through on Monday) to hopefully entice new lookers or bring back some that were interested. It wasn't a big drop, but hopefully enough!
Our DVC hasn't sold yet either - once it does we'll be stashing that money away until the house sells to bring to closing.
I've been working my tail off trying to earn a few bucks online, all my free internet time has been devoted to that. Surprisingly I've done a decent job and so far have earned over $100 between various sites. I'm going to keep plugging away there for more closing money.
The weather here has been BEAUTIFUL so I have been taking advantage of that and finally got the garage all straightened out and looking good. We are going to have a huuuuuuuuuuuuge garage sale soon, so I've been working on that - almost everything is priced and put in boxes stored in the garage, so that should make setting up easier.
Today is chilly again, so I'm indoors. I need to get some more garage sale stuff done, but I wanted to post an update here and to say HELLO to everyone!
I'm going to work on an update NOW!!!

As we left off Henry had stolen Joe's Mickey Bar and happily munched it until our bus arrived and carried us back to AKV. We arrived around 5:00
The whole palm trees growing through the roof thing is very cool. We had many a conversation about how they did that. They couldn't have possibly transplanted those trees, they are too big - they would die...were they fake? We ruled that out when we looked closely at them. Did they build the structure around them?! Anyone know?
Once again, the site of animals on the way back to our room made us all stop in our tracks and take it in.
Just part of a proverb.
Back in the room we relaxed for a bit and made dinner.
And played a game that Henry found hilarioussssssss!
It involved this:

And the boys watching...
And who would fly off first? Mickey or Donald?
Guess who made up that game?

By 9:15 KK, Grammy and I were back at MK.

We went straight for Buzz, the line was still very long, I believe around 50 minute wait. We had our handy FPs though! Since we had two extra I went to the very end of the line and walked forward along it until I found a couple waiting to whom I offered the FPs. They were elated. The man lit up and shouted, "Jolly good!" They ducked out of line and zipped right through the empty FP queue with us.
We were on within minutes.
I failed to prep KK and Grammy on this ride, so when we first got in they were totally confused, they were expecting something more like TSM where it was you and another player head-to-head and that is all you saw instead of the laser lights everywhere. I tried to explain it as we moved along on the track, but they were still a bit overwhelmed with it and neither could find their laser dot. So, after the ride they agreed it was cute and fun, but they liked TSMs style much better.
My pathetic score!

My MIL didn't like the flashing lights too much!
KK and I had our FPs from the wee hours this morning for SM, so we headed that way to give it a try.
The Tomorrowland stage show was rockin' out - it seemed like a lot of fun, we just stopped briefly though.
We approached the CM and explained - I fully expected us to get the thumbs down, but she looked, I started to explain we got them this morning, and she waved us through! Yahoo! We were pumped.
We scurried through the FP queue, which NO one was in, looking forward to our second ride on SM and a bit dumbfounded this actually worked.
We got to the CM who directs you to left or right and we got D-E-N-I-E-D! He was confused though, he thought it was for later that same night...we explained, but to no avail. He asked how we got by the first CM...and when he heard our answer that she just waved us through, he rolled his eyes and groaned. Obviously some CM contention there!
So we took the walk of shame, back through the queue. Hey, it was worth a try, right?!
We met Grammy in the gift shop and we started toward the front of the park. As we approached the hub I realized that people were gathering for Wishes! We all decided we should grab a spot and see the show.

This might give you an idea of where we were standing, it was a great spot!
The show started - and while I took a lot of pictures, most of them didn't catch the best parts of the show because I wasn't concentrating as hard on getting great pictures. I knew this was a show that I probably would not see again for a long while (or at all!), so I wanted to soak it all in!

This is my favorite from all I took.
Here are a couple KK took - she actually filmed the show and used a feature on her camera to make a still photo from scenes in the video. Pretty great feature!
And the video...which still makes me tear up! You can hear all the ooohs and ahhhs from the crowd and I just LOVE it!:
Directly after the show we heard someone say, "Wow, that was worth the whole trip." and we agreed. I had seen it from CG the previous night, but nothing beats Main Street when you are right in front of that Castle and the music is all around you....AMAZING.
KK was raving about it, she said it was by far the best fireworks show she has ever seen. She was completely in awe at how each explosion was perfectly in beat with the music.
"That's Disney." I told her.

I agree with your MIL on Buzz, I can never figure out which stupid little red light is mine either - makes for some pretty pitiful scores!

I'm not sure I've ever had the 2nd CM even pay attention to the FP, it's always the first one that looks at them closely and the 2nd just takes them from you

Great videos of wishes, I will miss it on our trip this summer. Hopefully the summer fireworks are ables to match wishes.
