A SWA Question - Advice Requested!

I've been stalking airfares for our August trip. I already booked our return flights because fares went down. Some fares for our departing flights have gone down also, but not the time I wanted. Yesterday it occurred to me that I should check flights for less than four people... and, sure enough, I found that I could get one ticket at the lower price and three at the higher. I waited. This morning I can get three tickets at the lower price and one at the higher price. Should I wait it out longer... or should I book with two reservations. That will be pain for checking in and getting seats, but I'll save at least $75. What would you do???

I'm all about saving money, so I'd purchase. As long as you do your check-in at the same time you should have pretty close boarding assignments. I usually have 2 windows open, one for my reservation and one for DH's, set up so that I just have to push the button when the correct time arrives. We almost always get boarding assignments within 4 or 5 numbers of each other (i.e., A29 and A32).

I would save the $75 any day. I just checked and our flights went down and just a few minutes ago was able to get $111.00 credit towards a future flight

Thank you for the advice! I went ahead and purchased the three tickets. Now I'm waiting patiently to see if I can get the fourth at the same price. (I joked with my husband that, as of now, we're going to Disney without him!) If it doesn't go down soon, I'll bite the bullet. But at least I saved $75!

I always book each person separate and each leg separate for just that reason. It's not that much harder to check each person in separately. I have the app and use the site at the same time.
