A surprise December 2009 trip for the kiddos!

Hi DIS family!

Welcome to the "we've been planning a trip behind your backs" extravaganza!

This is our third trip to WDW as a family, our last DW trip was April 2009 and we had such an awesome time! It was definitely not in our plans to return quite yet, however, when the military discount came out in January, I didn't even hesitate to book the trip! When I made the reservations, I made an off the cuff remark to my husband about not telling the children- then it dawned on me... how cool would it be to wake up one random morning and hear your parents say "no school today- we are going to Disney instead". Awesome, right? So here it goes.....

We are a family of 4... two little girls and my DH and I. Our girls are Liv- age 9 and Gia- age 7. We will be joined by my younger, single sister, Kate- age 25 and a Disney newbie- never been on a plane, never been to WDW!

We are also being joined by another family that we have known for years Shane, Laurie and their two children- Dillon age 7 and Paige age 8. They thought our secret was a great idea and are doing the same for their kiddos!

So... since I have had such a long time to wait for this trip (booked in January)... I have had my mind set on my "list" of ADRs that I wanted. Needless to say things didn't exactly work out when I got up early on that fated morning to make my reservations. We ended up with a decent lay out- could still use some tweaking should another Le Cellier pop up or a Fantasmic! Dining package become available!

For now.........

Arrival Day: Dinner at Spirit of Aloha (5:15)
Thursday: no TS this day
Friday: (Liv's 10th birthday!)- Lunch at Crystal Palace (11:50am) and dinner with the entire gang at Teppan Edo (9:30pm)
Saturday: 50's prime time cafe (11:20am)
Sunday: Le Cellier lunch (2:15pm)
Monday: Tusker House Breakfast (9am)
Tuesday: No TS this day- MVMCP that night
Wednesday: return home... no TS this day.

Still really hoping to switch into a F! Package on one of those days!!
