Both Shirley and I are staggered by the feedback and the hits on our trip pictures.

Posting these pictures is fun, but more important is 'the hands on feel' for the Board Members, of our trip and how much is out there in our great country, to see, enjoy and learn.

The toughest part is picking, out of 1100, the IMPACT pictures. Pick this one, no that one and on and on. It also gives us the opportunity to re-live these experiences.

Again, a huge thanks. #5 is up there now and #6 is right around the corner.

John, Shirley & Toby-our camping doggie.

On behalf of myself, (and I'm pretty sure everyone else), it is us whon thank you for sharing your trip with us, there is so much that we have not seen and lots that we may never see, so it's great to experience these thru you and Shirley.

Agree with Frank on this one. It is us, that should be thanking you, we have certainly enjoyed following your journey with you.

Agreed, seeing through your eyes is almost as good as being there. :thumbsup2

No John, Shirley and Toby, THANK YOU!
I turn my computer on every evening, hoping for the next number.
I am so enjoying following along on your fabulous trip.
Again, Thank You.

So John, was this trip planned-out, or are you and your wife just going where the wind takes you? Either way, it sounds like a blast. With work and four children, I am not in a position to have an extended trip such as this, but look forward to doing so sometime in the future.

Big Red asked an interesting question. Was this a planned trip ????

It was planned, but the only target was the Mountain States and winding up at Walt Disney World in Florida.

Everything in between was winged on the fly.

Living in PA, the furthest west I had been was St. Louis. That was a business trip. My wife Shirley got as far west as Cincinnati OH. That was on a connecting flight from Orlando.

We did go to Maui, but we only got to see the mountains and the airport in Salt Lake City, Utah. We never left the plane and continued to Maui.

Coming back from Maui we connected in Los Angeles, but we were airborne in less than a 1/2 hour heading home.

I do remember seeing the Arch in St. Louis, back in the 70's, and somebody said 'The Gateway To The West'-----Someday I will go through that Arch.

We finally did that going through IA & MN.
