A SOG & Perks Question...

I've read that staying at SOG you have alot of the same perks that people at WDW Resort Hotels have. Does this include all means of transportation? Would we be able to go over to the Poly for example and take the boat around the resorts and to DTD? I've heard this can be alot of fun and we've never done this before even when we stayed at the WDW resort hotels. Anybody know? Thanks!

Yes you can use the disney travel just like anyone else. Take a boat to DTD or take a boat from the magic kingdom to the TTC and there take a bus or whatever you would like. The only transportation not included at SOG is the Magical Express, which is the shuttle to and from the airport.

What part of West TN are you in,LadynTramp? We live on the TN/KY border at Ft. Campbell.

Hi! We live in a small city called Bartlett just on the edge of Memphis. My best girlfriend and I are going to be on the 4 day Wonder Dec. 18th. We'll be at the SOG the 16th and 17th. We've changed our plan from doing the Magic Kingdom on the 17th and have decided to do MVMCP on the 16th. So, the 17th we're going to go to DTD and check out decorations at some of the hotels on the monorail line. The boat to DTD sounds like a fun idea. Can you tell me where it drops off at DTD? We're so excited, December shouldn't be so far away!

If I'm remembering correctly, it's over by the Rainforest Cafe. But, you do realize that the boat to DTD picks up/drops off around the OKW/PO resort areas, right? The decorations over at the BC and YC are great, too.
