Oh WheatenWalker, that sounds like something MY in-laws would do to me! I know how hurt you must be. If you have the guts, I agree with some of the others - go to the party anyway!!!! When I talked with my brother who lives here and told him I thought I was going to go anyway, he thought that was a fabulous idea and proceeded to get our air tickets, he actually bought my plane ticket for me and said it would be worth the cost of the ticket to see SIL's face when she opens the door and sees all of us!!! He also called her and told her not to pick him and wife up at the airport, and that "they; (us) would stay at at hotel and rent a car so they could make a mini vacation out of the trip. Hehe Thanks for the idea everyone and the support!

I have an SIL that doesn't like me very well (I'm very close to that brother and I think she's always been jealous of that or whatever )

A similar thing happened to me. She had a big picnic and invited the entire family over and left out mine. Well.......since we all live on the same block and I'm so daring (LOL!!!) I went anyway!!! I had a great time, the rest of the family loved me being there and the SIL said nothing!!!
