My son is in a production of "A Shayna Maidel" at his high school. They are giving 4 shows. We saw it for the first time Saturday night and we will see the final showing tonight. What an excellent story! What a good job the kids have done!!
I was doing OK with holding back the tears until, in flashback, the mother tells her adult daughter she cannot leave her and her granddaughter behind when the opportunity arises (even when faced with concentration camp) because 'once you have a grandchild...you have two children'. That was it for me. The tears rolled down my face and there was nothing that would stop it!!
