I can't believe that my ticker says "1 day left"!!!!

I have still not packed. Not one thing. Thankfully I am working from home today so hopefully I will be able to do a little packing throughout the day so that I'm not up all night. But who am I kidding... I'm sure I'll be too excited to sleep!!

So I've been an obsessive weather checker. Every day. Maybe 2-3x per day. Yesterday it was looking good. Lots of sunshine. This morning, I see this:

So I'm hoping it will change again in the next 24 hours. But don't worry. NOTHING is going to ruin this trip for me. I've got a poncho and umbrella (just have to find and pack them!).

Thanks. Trying to be optimistic. But looking at the hour by hour forecast it doesn't look very promising. But the overall forecast has changed 20x this week so hopefully it will again.

I still haven't started packing!!

The forecast is always changing, so I would not lay too much stock into it. The others are right though-those showers tend to be very quick so I would not worry about it. I can't wait to hear about your solo adventure. One of these days I may have to ditch the family and go on my own to recharge.

I have no intentions of terrorizing Orlando but it is 4:15pm and I still haven't packed! Too much work stuff getting in the way. Thank goodness it is only me I have to pack for! Imagine if I were responsible for other people!

I started packing!! It is very frantic but not so frantic that I can't log in to DIS. I have "that feeling" in the pit of my stomach. Nervous. I may not be able to sleep. So I can DIS all night.

I am going to ramble a bit -- there was a Broadway musical called "Into the Woods" back in the late 80's -- great, great show -- anyway, at one point Little Red Riding Hood is singing about her experience with the wolf, and she sings about being "excited and scared." That's what I keep singing to myself right now!

You are going to have such a great time -- just think, this time tomorrow you will be staying at the Beach Club -- I am excited and jealous!

Well I think that's it folks. Time to log off and try to get some sleep before getting up at 4am. I've really enjoyed the planning process with you and am sure that I will think of you all often as I make my way through the parks.

Hi! I'm back. Too soon if you ask me! My goodness does Disney time fly or what? I am dreading my return to work reality tomorrow. And I'm not especially enjoying laundry reality this afternoon either.

Anywho, I wanted to check in and let you know that I'm back and give you a little teaser of what you can expect when I start the TR hopefully later this week.

This trip was like a roller coaster. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times... Sunshine and rain. Amazing CM's and yucky CM's. Walk-on's and long lines. Feeling fine about being solo and feeling uncomfortable. Glad I did it and questioning whether a solo trip was a good idea. Happy tears and sad tears (yes, I'm a sap). ADR's I kept and some I didn't. Delicious meals and meh meals. Parks I visited and a park I didn't visit at all!

A number of glasses of champagne that can't be counted (or I'm too embarrassed to post, you decide!), a celebrity sighting and a partridge in a pear tree (not really but it seemed to fit).

Looking forward to reliving it with you.
