May I kindly ask that people REFRAIN from reciting the narration in the Haunted Mansion pre-show?? Pretty please? On my last trip, I enjoyed this classic Disney attraction 3 times. EVERY TIME, adults in the pre-show room recited the narration - thus detracting from other guest experiences! Look, I've been going to Disney since the late 1970's, so I also know the narration by heart. But I'd NEVER dream of spoiling it for other guests! I'm not even talking about children. I only saw adults ruining the experience for others. I'm sure that these guests thought that they were 'showing off' by reciting the lines, but folks.............it's just plain rude! Please just keep your thoughts to yourself and refrain from being 'foolish mortals'!![]()
If said so loudly that other guests can't hear the original message, than yes. What's next? Am I to refrain from paging "mr Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow"?? Should I not sing "there's a great big beautiful tomorrow?"

Your party is alone on the PeopleMover & you're encouraged to sing at CoP. I don't see how anyone could have an issue with either of those. What's next? Am I to refrain from paging "mr Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow"?? Should I not sing "there's a great big beautiful tomorrow?"
The reciting does bother me just a tad but the screaming is just rude. Someone screamed right in my daughters ears and she started hysterical crying and had to leave the ride.
So is it ok or not ok to ask "Howabout some backstage passes?" between Aerosmith's "manager" asking "Well what do expect me to do? Send them all with you?" and Steven Tyler responding "Wait a minute ... I love that idea..." on RNRC?
How about some backstage passes?
Better make it a super-stretch!
I understand. This goes hand in hand with people that recite along with movies.

"I hate all of you"![]()
LOL, yes he sure did!!!!!!!!!! Ick, now I have that vision in my head.I cut her some slack after the awful things Robert DeNiro did to her in Cape Fear.
Ironically, we went to see the Frozen "sing-along" edition when it was in theaters, and NO ONE sang![]()

I prefer making up my own lines. Such as...So is it ok or not ok to ask "Howabout some backstage passes?" between Aerosmith's "manager" asking "Well what do expect me to do? Send them all with you?" and Steven Tyler responding "Wait a minute ... I love that idea..." on RNRC?
"I'm on vacation" doesn't mean you loose respect for those around you.
Last time I went on it, the cast member was reciting the pre-show in the library and rolling his eyes as he was doing it. I would have thought that they were trained NOT to do that. It's the same with TOT. ALWAYS someone or else a group that talks through the whole entire narrative...
Last year I was on Epcot's Living with the Land. Two men were seated in the bench right in front of me. We were the only ones in the boat. When we got to the farmhouse, they took one look at that rooster & started screaming/crowing at the top of their lungs. In unison. One crow might have been funny. 5 plus mins of non-stop screaming crowing was just nasty. They didn't stop until a CM got on the loudspeaker and told them to stop. Its such a peaceful, nice little ride in Epcot. Just mind boggling behaviour. Maybe a little (or a lot) of liquid courage went into it. Bizarre & just freaky when you are riding alone in a boat with that.
