My humble 2 cents would be to stay somewhere DH will enjoy since he doesn't really want WDW - you, munchkins and princesses will enjoy having a snack room...so me thinks find one Brian will smile about when told.

The boys are doing resort time, so they need to be comfortable and happy.

What is wrong with me Mama I love the space at BLT. And July 20 we have CRT and Crystal Palace (boys) ADRs at 830am this makes sense, right???

I SO wish DH would go for a split stay...I mean I did talk him into no hotel on the way down and driving straight through! but we have a pkg and have hit our 45 day mark, so what does that mean for changes??

I thought the boys weren't doing parks just resort/pool.
I think that being at an MK resort makes perfect sense for your family for this trip. So easy to head back in the HOT afternoon for a little R&R.
And it really is lovely in the mornings

When CR gets a refurb, I'll be ready to stay there with Sophia...it has kind if become a tradition over the years that my first trip with a little one includes a stay at CR (probably because that was our first resort stay in 1982 - our second was Poly, which became our home resort)... Although my bank account may have other ideas.

So we stayed at the Travellodge on 535.
That will be a great trip for her....very special for Sophia! The CR holds a dear place in my heart because it was my first Disney resort, too. And if I'm not mistaken...it was 1982! Or maybe 83....dad and I can't remember exactly

Everything was so much easier then....and so much more affordable. We paid $79 a ngt plus tax for a GW CR room in '81, the same for a GV at the Poly in March of '82 and $99 plus tax for CR Tower room the week of July 4th in '82. Bay Lake or MK view was a request then - we decided not to make request and were given the MK view.
