NOT giving up! With a little (a lot) of encouragement from janet I decided to just tweak some things to save $$$. After a call to WDTC and a healthy refund (and PIF) we will be "roughing it" FW style I was looking at SeaWorld...but I'll take a day at the Castle...
and now DH suggested doing a week at Disney. He said the cheaper the hotel the better....Disney Math time

Kook, our Pas knows how to keep us on our toes!! Especially after naps, and plenty of DIS time.... hmm...Will our Pas be really holding down the "fort" at WDW?? or will it be another wild adventure in store for the Pas clan? The cabins seems perfect ....beautiful WL setting...campfire with Chip & Dale ... boat to MK...

So yeah...there may have been a change or three over the last week...I will try a recap.....

HRH and Daddy start complaining about FWC...I look at all possible combos..FWC is the cheapest...with the AP rate (even cheaper than 2 value rooms) I look at CBR, CSR, POR, OKW....then I happen upon Portofino Bay Club level.....hmmm.....so I cancel WDW and upgrade us to CL at PBH

Feeling a ache in my heart for WDW, I decide a resort only stay with a MK day for the girls and I.....SSR booked...then I realize I want us all to go enjoy the castle...DISNEY MATH TIME

Day 1..arrival at Melbourne Beach, chillax after the ride down 2 nights there....

Then Poly GV CL I was able to rent a cabana for that afternoon, it wasn't my first choice, but availability was limited...DH and the kids will LOVE this!! Wishes from the lounge that evening!!!!

next morning...MK time, CRT was changed to lunch, to break up the HOT day!! Undecided on whether I'll do PH for the kids. It'll depend on the weather. I really mostly want to chill at the Poly

Next day...free day..pool day, Epcot, ToT, we shall see....

Then after 3 glorious Poly nights....we are off to 4 nights PBH CL

I've shortened the trip. But QUALITY NOT QUANITY. The Pas clan will have a week of snack room awesomeness..I AM DONE really I mean it

Here now....will go back and read. Tropical Storm Andrea is rolling our way so there's no pool time for us today.

All good Heather....it's fairly new and it's had a change or two The first I heard of TS Andrea was last night after missoutandabout landed at MCO I hope this season isn't too bad...

the kids will all squish in one room...most likely leaving 2 daybeds and 1 queen open at Poly the CL rooms at Portofino are deluxe rooms...which are huge. There's 2Q but we can get a rollaway or 2

I think MAGIC is our last hold-out for an FWC and Heather must be the only RC who has actually stayed in one or did you once? Well, can't say I didn't predict this. But, can you handle being so close to your beloved GF? I know you're at 45 days now, but I'll bet you didn't book a package, so me thinks some changes can still be made

I did a week in a cabin. Little Brian was an infant. Brian and I did the Murphy bed...not the most comfy but everything else was fantastic. We were by a quiet pool. So the boys swam a lot!!! We didn't get a lot of fw time in...we did free dining so it was a park commando type trip. My wish...more closet or drawer space..lol

I keep telling myself no gf..Brian will not be happy....he's whining already the loss of a pbh day..

I announced on the RC thread yesterday that there was a change in plans, and then work was busy and I hadn't come back

So I'll update everyone here, and hopefully tomorrow I can and give my RC gals an update there as well. I am back at work this morning, and July can't get here fast enough....

SOOOOO, DH turned 40 yesterday, and we are "celebrating" this trip. AND he really doesn't want to go back to Disney. This is a yearly battle, but he says next year we can do Disney....so I am thinking of planning a December (or January) family trip.....meanwhile.....

Hubs wants more time at the Beach...he didn't specify WHICH beach.

Our first two nights shall be at BEACH CLUB CL, where DH and the boys shall enjoy SAB, and I'm taking the girls to Epcot possibly the Studios....3 nights at Melbourne Beach for R&R, and 5 nights Portofino CL

Whatever it takes to get DH in the Disney mood, so be it and a belated happy birthday to Brian! SAB it is and Stone Harbor Club! Was the main reason you switched from Poly for SAB? Walking to Epcot is amazing and I know the girls love SAB, right? I assume you're doing PB before MB?

Hope that work is over soon and you can rest. I'm finishing up sprucing up the new(er) and somewhat improved BWI/BWV thread for re-posting - back to thread toiling....
