My brother and his girlfriend plan on going to the Khona cafe at the Polynesian Resort to breakfast, before going to the park in the morning. However we aren't staying at the Polynesian. I know when you get to the Magic Kingdom gate you tell them that you are going to Polynesian. (this is also were you pay for parking to go to the ticket center) So if my brother was to go to the Polynesian then to the ticket center would he still have to pay for parking? The only reason why he is transfering by car is because he would be given a time limit at the Polynesian resort. And if he doesn't obey the time limit his car would be towed. Would he still have to pay for parking?
Thanks a bunch!

The answer is a definite maybe. If you have a PS at one of the MK hotels, the guard may let you in without paying. However, sometimes they still make you pay. I've had it work both ways.

BTW, if he is staying at any Disney hotel, parking is free. You only have to pay if you are coming from offsite.

I'm not entirely sure you can get back to the T&TC from the Polynesian/Grand Floridian/Shades of Green resorts without going back through the main gate. I seem to remember that when you are going to these resorts, the road is one-way. I wanted to backtrack once because I overshot the Shades of Green entrance but I had to loop all the way back around to the main gate to get back.

Also, if you have an Annual Pass I don't think you have to pay for parking either.

Hello, with increased security, you will be allowed to pass the paybooth but at Poly, you will be given a 2 hour pass. The car must be moved in two hours. This has changed since 9/11.
There is really no way to get free parking for the day at the hotels anymore.
I would suggest parking at MK and then taking the boat or the monorail over to the Poly for that great Tonga Toast.

The monorails to the hotels do stop at the ticket and trans center.

good luck and have a great time....Ted
