I am not sure if this is the right forum for this or not, but I didn't want to risk posting it on the CB because you just never know the responses you can get over there. So here goes....

I need some advice for buying bras. Since losing weight I have lost weight up top going from a very tight 42C to a tight 38C or loose 40C and now I have more elasticity in that area, if you know what I mean. I need recomendations on bras that will be comfortable yet able to hoist me back up to where I should be. I don't have the option of going into stores to try bras on as the Italian idea of a bra is very, very skimpy, which wouldn't work for me so I would be purchasing online.

Thanks.

Oh, tiggerlover, I wish I could give you some advice! I know what you mean about posting this on the CB--I bet Pop Daddy (and others!) would have a field day--good naturedly of course!;) I understand about losing weight in your breasts. It was the last place I lost, going from a 44B to a 34A. The Girls are very petite and much, much lower! Why is it that the only place society likes to see fat is in your boobs? The only place I've ever purchased bras online was Victoria's Secret--they fit very true-to-size for me, but were awfully expensive--even just their basic bras. I only bought two there, but went to Target and bought some cheap, little stretchie bra-thingies. Good luck and I'm sorry I couldn't help. I bet your dh wouldn't mind the "Italian Style" bras, though! Then again, he doesn't have to WEAR them! I hope you can find something you're comfortable in!:)

I do not know how the shipping would go but I found some wonderful brand new bras on Ebay. They are great for uplifting!! I bought them several months ago before they fit and now they fit great. Also I got 6 for under $25. These are beautiful, sexy and a great deal. All I did was type in my size and three pages came up. Some people have used bras for sale(yuck) but these still had the tags on them.

Can you go into a shop and just get measured?

Then you can buy the bras on line. I buy all of my bras on line from VS. About once a year I go into one of the stores to get measured. Then I go to their site, type in my size, and check out the sales area. I've always been able to find great bras on sale for about $12-$15, not bad for VS.

that was the 1st comment I made to the lady doing my mammogram the other day
"well ya know, when you loose weight of course it comes from your boobs first"
then i told her i lost 26lbs since my last mammogram a yr ago (16 more before that)
she asked what i did to loose it, if I in fact tried to loose it, etc. We got into a conversation about fitday.com

Another VS vote. They have great bras that will definitely do what you are looking for. ;) While they are a little pricey they last a long time and are a good investment! A good bra under your tops can make all the difference in how you look. ::yes::
