A question abou the "youngsters"

What is with the "kids" (teens) poking their lips out and holding up two fingers? I was looking on myspace and it looks like all the "youngsters" have some kind of contagious "tick".

I'm officially old, by the way. Today I turned 32!

Really, it's bad? I'm seriously asking what it's supposed to be about. They are holding up two fingers like a peace sign over on one side and their lips are poked out like they're "bad"

Are they holding their fingers right next to the lips? Or are they just doing the rock on symbol with their thumb and pinky?

If it is the first they are doing something really discusting and not so nice.

If it is the second they are just being teenagers.

Well i agree that if it's what I think it is then it's really not a good thing, definatley not disney appropriate. I would hope that a parent is montioring the Myspace account.

Again, it's like a peace sign (not in front of their mouths). Also, their lips are pursed but, not like a kissing type pose. It's like they're trying to show how tough they are or something.

It is NOT sexual in nature at all, but rather trying to emulate/make fun of gang-bangers. This is as far as I have gotten and I'm an 8th grade teacher.

It is NOT sexual in nature at all, but rather trying to emulate/make fun of gang-bangers. This is as far as I have gotten and I'm an 8th grade teacher.

My hubby does a lot of gaming online and says it is simply them "giving the camera a kiss" and doing the peace sign. Apparently the peace sign was a big deal to do in a lot of counties of Asia and it caught on, then some just added the kissing to go wth.
