A Princess, Pirates and Pixie Dust!

ROCKIN’ ROLLER COASTER…
After our drowning and changing, we were whisked into the Grand Floridian on the Monorail for an appointment with HRH Cinderella! We checked in and explained we had an extra baby – not a problem, but we did end up at two tables back to back from each other. There was an opportunity for a photo – no Fairy Godmother this time, so Londynn got a pic by herself

We were soon seated, and started to help ourselves to the buffet. Let me say, this 1900 Park Faire dinner was wonderful – a huge improvement over our last experience there. Everything we tried was delicious. There was plenty of seafood and appetizers, sushi and soups. There was carved beef and ham, there were lots of wonderful salads and desserts. Ryan said he felt like the buffet was just as good as DCL and it got him thinking about all of us cruising together soon!
Soon the Prince came around,

And then Cindy herself

Then Anastasia – she fawned a little over Pirate Myles – she was sure he had some treasure….

Druscilla paid a visit – she wanted to know if Myles would run away with her, she was sure he must be rich…

And if Londynn had found her Prince yet…

It was a little hard for me to be at both tables to experience everything with everyone, but I tried.

Looks like Evan is a scarey pirate…

And Mason is in love

Anastasia got in a few choice words

Then the stepmother came by – Lindsay was not happy with her advice…. She told Londynn it didn’t matter who you married, as long as they had lots of money!

I don’t remember what she was telling Dana, but it made her giggle

That's okay little man, you're too young for my daughters, anyway..

Then, Cindy and her prince had a dance

(CONTINUED NEXT POST)

ROCKIN' CONTINUED

And then…. “Oh My! I see a handsome man with lots of money – would you marry me?”
“NO? How about a dance then!”

“come on, just a dance?”

At this point Lindsay said, “you can either get up and dance with her, or you can ride Rock and Roller Coaster tomorrow!”

His answer? “ROCK N ROLLER COASTER! ROCK N ROLLER COASTER!!!!”

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Then they sang Happy Birthday to some nearby princess, and our server noticed Londynn’s Birthday Princess sash, so she brought out a cupcake for her…

With our dinner paid and our tips given, our pirates were marching out together.

Someone told a great joke

Goodbye castle – see you next time!

Everyone decided to turn in early tonight, as it was a little chilly. Ryan and Dana asked if they could have a date night at MK.

We put Mason and Evan in the sleeper in our room and after a little Disney Channel, Evan fell asleep, but Mason stayed up until Ryan came to get him about 10 pm. Evan slept until Ryan came to get him the next morning.

NEXT UP: STAR TOURS MARATHON

1900 Park Faire definitely looks like a blast. What great character interaction. All the kids look like they are having SO much fun. And its nice to hear the food was really good. I have never eaten there, but its still on the bucket list.

Yay for a MK date night! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving!

It is definitely worth a visit. I probably would have skipped it except for the Cinderella dinner, but now I would probably go back just for the food!

Thank you - I hope your Thanksgiving was great, also!

Great update, Tammie!
Looks like you all had a blast at 1900 PF! The interaction with the characters looks really good and I am impressed that you give the food a thumbs up as I have read a lot of bad reviews about it.

Date night sounds like fun!

We checked in and explained we had an extra baby – not a problem,

So they took it off your hands?
How does that happen that you have an extra one?
I've heard of spare tires, but spare babies?

Wait! Family board! Don't answer that!

but we did end up at two tables back to back from each other.

I can't quite tell for sure, here.
Were you pleased by this? Or annoyed?

Let me say, this 1900 Park Faire dinner was wonderful – a huge improvement over our last experience there.

Sounds delish.

Ryan said he felt like the buffet was just as good as DCL and it got him thinking about all of us cruising together soon!

Ah! So that's why you went there!
"Here, honey. Try this buffet. Good, huh? Wouldn't you like this everyday for say 5 to 7 days?"

Soon the Prince came around,

Some day, my Prince will come around....
Pretty sure that's how the song goes.

Then the stepmother came by – Lindsay was not happy with her advice…. She told Londynn it didn’t matter who you married, as long as they had lots of money!

Really?
That's what I tell my DDs all the time.

I don’t remember what she was telling Dana, but it made her giggle

Love that pic.

“come on, just a dance?”

Was he terrified that he might have to dance with... <gasp!> a girl?
:rotfl:

At this point Lindsay said, “you can either get up and dance with her, or you can ride Rock and Roller Coaster tomorrow!”

His answer? “ROCK N ROLLER COASTER! ROCK N ROLLER COASTER!!!!”

Brave lad. :lmao:

Right. There.

The number 1 reason for taking Grandma with you to WDW. ::yes::

Great pics and thanks for the update, Tammie! :goodvibes

I read ROCKIN ROLLER COASTER and I thought I was in for a wild ride. My absolute favorite ride at WDW. I wasn't expecting to read about evil stepmothers and stepsisters. :lmao:

Never the less, I enjoyed the chapter. I know I haven't posted much, but I'm still reading along. Sorry to hear about the wrist. I hope it's doing better now.

Hi Sandy! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thank you! We did!! It was a little colder than I'd like but that's ok. The kids had a great time playing with Grandpa so it was worth it.

Sounds like you had a great dinner!! Love all the smiles and how much fun your all having.

Date night sounds like fun!

Last time, 2007, It was just the royal couple and the mice, with the FGM greeting you in the foyer. The addition of the step sisters made this character meal great fun! I hope with my recommendation the food is always as good as it was that night...

Yes, date night was lots of fun - for the parents and for the grandparents who got more snuggle time!

Not really annoyed, but it challenged by grandma talents
Sounds delish.

Yep. It worked pretty well - we are trying to make a plan - just a certain college graduation happens at the time we were thinking of in 2015 - maybe they would come and celebrate the graduation instead....

Some day, my Prince will come around....
Pretty sure that's how the song goes.

Really?
That's what I tell my DDs all the time.

:lmao:

Love that pic.

I wish it came with sounds. :goodvibes

Was he terrified that he might have to dance with... <gasp!> a girl?
:rotfl:

Yep. He blushed quite well during this interchange.

Brave lad. :lmao:

I knew it was misleading, but this chapter needed that title! :rotfl2: My wrist is doing much better. I think I'll just live with it unless it causes me trouble again. Thanks for reading.

Thank you! We did!! It was a little colder than I'd like but that's ok. The kids had a great time playing with Grandpa so it was worth it.

Sounds like you had a great dinner!! Love all the smiles and how much fun your all having.

I do not miss the cold. It was 85 here today - we will have a high of 45 on Sat. not looking forward to that 40 degree swing. :scared1:

It was a really fun dinner, and it was so much cheaper than CRT - still felt "castle like" to Londynn, so it did the trick.

Aww looks like yall were having so much fun with the princess's. Glad the boys enjoyed too! And you guys are so awesome for taking the kids for the night to give a date night to the parents!!! Im sure it was much appriciated.

I love visiting my parent's but I was so happy to get back home to our 70 degree weather!! I think one morning it got down to 20 and I was freezing!! I wouldn't be looking forward to that swing either.

It does look like a fun dinner but it's hard for me to pull DH away from the parks to eat. But I'd be up for it.

Contrary to what you may believe, I did not forget I was writing this TR, I just got caught up in Holiday life! :santa: I took Londynn to gymnastics last night and I heard a mom saying she felt like she was in a lifeboat about to go over a waterfall and was just not dealing with the danger ahead (speaking of her busy life). I can relate to feeling like that at her age, but now I don't know what my problem is - I really don't have nearly the busyness in my life that I had when I was raising kids, but I guess I'm spoiled by not working full time for the past 5 years. :rotfl2: I do love my new job, though, and the bosses are the best people you could ever work for. Kathy, I know you'll argue with me there... ;)

Okay, back to our story -

Sunday, July 14th
Today meant there were only two more days of magic left. It is so sad how vacation flies by. Today turned out to be another fantastical magical day!
We went out to the bus stop and our Hollywood Studios bus was the first to arrive! Ryan’s had made it early and had some fun with the PP photographers.

darn it! I
am going to have to come back - either my computer or my internet are acting up. :faint:

Darn computers!! Cute pictures though!!

I know what that lady is talking about. I just don't know how I get through some days.

Contrary to what you may believe, I did not forget I was writing this TR, I just got caught up in Holiday life!

I'm sorry, who are you again? :rotfl:
Just kidding! I know this time of year is hectic (I haven't even started my baking yet!) so no worries.

I heard a mom saying she felt like she was in a lifeboat about to go over a waterfall and was just not dealing with the danger ahead (speaking of her busy life).

ooohhh.
I like that.
I'm gonna steal it. ::yes::

I can relate to feeling like that at her age, but now I don't know what my problem is - I really don't have nearly the business in my life that I had when I was raising kids, but I guess I'm spoiled by not working full time for the past 5 years. :rotfl2:

I don't think it matters.
We're all busy at this time of year, no matter what!

Every year I say, "Next year I'm going to sit for a bit and enjoy it!"

:lmao:

Geez, I crack myself up sometimes.

I do love my new job, though, and the bosses are the best people you could ever work for.

Hey! That's great! :thumbsup2

Okay, back to our story -

Story?

Oh! Right!

Today meant there were only two more days of magic left. It is so sad how vacation flies by.

That's known as mixed emotions day.
Yay! Two more days!
Boo! Only two more days.

Ryan’s had made it early and had some fun with the PP photographers.

That always strikes me as funny.
Can you imagine saying that out loud?
"We had some fun with the Pee Pee photographers."

You did what?!?!?

Nice pics though.

Second shortest chapter ever!

Aww looks like yall were having so much fun with the princess's. Glad the boys enjoyed too! And you guys are so awesome for taking the kids for the night to give a date night to the parents!!! Im sure it was much appriciated.

I really didn't expect the boys to have that much fun, but I guess Disney just knows how to involve the whole family!

It does take a lot of time out of your evening. That's why we didn't plan the DDP - too much planning and waiting for buses and tired kiddos - plus we found that we spent way less on food than we thought we would without it.

Darn computers!! Cute pictures though!!

I know what that lady is talking about. I just don't know how I get through some days.

Take time to just enjoy your holidays with the kids - time flies by so fast, and Christmas comes, whether or not you have that extra batch of cookies baked, or those last 10 cards mailed.

I'm sorry, who are you again? :rotfl:
Just kidding! I know this time of year is hectic (I haven't even started my baking yet!) so no worries.

:rotfl: I'm glad you understand. I have done way less baking than in the past for sure. I went to a cookie exchange, so I got a good variety with only making two kinds myself. :goodvibes I did fudge yesterday and I'm doing some tea breads today and that's it. We are ordering Texas BBQ for Christmas Eve dinner and just enjoying the kids and eating leftovers the next day.

ooohhh.
I like that.
I'm gonna steal it. ::yes::

It was a good description of me in the past!

I don't think it matters.
We're all busy at this time of year, no matter what!

Boo! Only two more days.

It's kind of like a Wednesday in reverse! :rotfl2: It' the H day of vacation.

That always strikes me as funny.
Can you imagine saying that out loud?
"We had some fun with the Pee Pee photographers."

You did what?!?!?

Nice pics though.

Second shortest chapter ever!

Yes, we are all so good with our acronyms around here - it's too funny when you start posting it on FB to your DIS friends and other people start :confused3 It's like those IT people who start speaking their own language when they are around each other. :rotfl2: OOPS! Some of you here are probably "those IT people" :lmao:

Great update! :)

Like Ponz said, really short, but I'm about to post more right now!

I'm Back! Hopefully I can get this update to post today! Ryan's family was taking advantage of arriving early at DHS and getting some fun pics - they got to meet a couple of the ladies:

Notice Evan's guyliner from his pirate makeup the day before :rotfl2:

We stopped for a photo or two

And then we were in! Our first mission of course was to meet up at TSMM. We got a FP for later and hopped in a very short line. This ride was a big hit with everyone, I was ahead for awhile, but Jim got the hang of it and beat me badly. Then we had another mission – we had some little Jedi’s who wanted to sign up for the training. We went over to the sign up area just past American Idol . They interviewed Myles, Mason and Londynn and they were all in for the 1pm show! Mark, Lindz and Dana were taking care of the interviews while Jim and I took the stroller crew and Ryan went to get the FP for RNRC. It was taking awhile for the interviews, so he went to check on everyone, and they gave him a set of FP for anything, anytime for 11 of us! We got instructions for where to meet, and we headed over to TOT.

(Inserting gratuitious company photos here)

It was a walk on so Jim, Dana, Lindsay and Mark rode twice. Ryan and I opted to skip the free falling – not our thing! Here are their ride photos:

Back Row

And front row

Now we headed back to TSM for a second adventure! I think about this time, we were ready for lunch. I always think we will try a new spot, but we always seem to end up at ABC Commissary. There are plenty of tables, and it is a little less noisy than some spots. We liked the new menu, I know, but I don’t remember what we had.

I guess I'd better get ready for church - I'll be back later with more!

Loved the pix !!! I have been a bad Disser lately, and the Holiday season is the reason !!! The parties for all the guys at the Group Home is unbelievable in December !! Finally has slowed down and I can breathe again !! Only 1 work day for me before Christmas and that is Christmas Eve . Going in at 6 a.m and leaving early , but have to go back to pick opne up from Dialysis !! Oh well that is the life of a Site Supervisor!!!
