I hope your kitty is OK. I know what you mean about getting ready to go. I get antsy too, but I so love that feeling. It makes it all seem real. I miss getting that rush WEEKS before going though. I got my Mickey Mail yesterday so that was good. The funny thing is I now have 9 luggage tags from this year .

I am glad they are letting up on Josh some at work. I feel so bad for him, and you too. Dale use to work till 8:30-9:00 at night and he would leave at 5:00am.

I might not try to get pregnant at Disney, but I wouldn't do anything to prevent it either. You are right about waiting until you can afford to have kids................that would be never .

Yeah everyday is something new with Josh's Job LOL i just have to learn how to take it in strides more instead of stressing out LOL Your trip is coming up so fast too!!! Aw!! I hope your kitty is okay!! Its also so hard when we suspect something is wrong with our pets!! I completely understand!!

That's so dumb about both your and Josh's job giving you hard times about your vacation. They just need to deal with it! Although it says something about both your guys work ethic that they don't want you guys to go and don't know how they'll function with you gone so long! However, they do need to realize and that you work so you can live comfortably...you don't live to work!! You guys do deserve this vacation!!

Can you believe it?!?! We'll be there so soon! Two weeks from now, we'll be in the Magic Kingdom!!

Kimmy i cannot believe we will be there in less than too weeks now Did you start packing or getting anything ready yet? I feel so nervous and excited at the same time Yeah i am worried about the kitty I hope he is ok so i dont have to worry about him while i am away!! I am always a worry ward LOL . They finally left Josh alone about his vacation day-- thank godness!! aww thanks so much I am going to post in a minute the verdict of the kitty... you would never believe how crazy my morning has been so far!! this trip cannot get here fast enough!!!! AHHHH LOL

i took Coby to the Vet yesterday-- and the vets loved him! They said by far he is the best kitty, and most friendly kitty then have ever had! So-- they took a look at him and wanted to run some blood work-- that thought maybe thyroid! well he got all his blood test and he turns out poor think is a diabetic kitty my poor baby!! So i ask the vet" will he be ok do i just give him a pill" and she says " he will be ok but he needs 2 shots on insulin a day" ummm WHAT? I have to give my cat a shot twice i day? I was so relieved that he is going to be okay- but OMG me giving a shot? So they showed me how to do it-- and how he has to get it every 12 hours-- so this morning i woke up at 6am to give him the shot-- and messed it up I think i gave him too little! And my vet is closed today so i cannot call and ask!! I was afraid to give him the injection of the other amount because i didnt want to throw his levels off-- he only needs 1 unit-- and i gave him more like half a unit! I think because i was soo nervous and still half asleep that i didnt line it up right on the syringe-- UGH! so i am hoping he will be ok till 6pm when he gets shot #2!! I am sooo glad i took him before disney-- it was a little expensive $347 dollars but worth it to find out what was wrong with my baby!! Thankfully Josh was at work and my dad came with me to the vets so he could see how to give the insulin shot too! So he can give it to Coby while we are in disney!! This is craziness!!! But i am so glad it will be ok! So today i am going to do some research and try to learn more about diabetes in cats.

So after all the cat craziness i was downstairs with the dogs in the lving room-- while Josh is sleeping-- and i start smelling something funny-- hmmm so i go explore-- the doggies must have ate something and got sick dog poop was all over my dinning room carpet!!! at this point i was wondering why in the heck i even woke up for the day!!! So there i was scrubbing carpets!!!! I tryed waking Josh up for help but he is sleeping away and didnt hear a thing! So not only am i a horrible nurse-- but i am now a professional carpet scrubber LOL!!! WOW this morning!!! and its not even 8am yet!!

oh the upside-- i think i have mostly everything i need for my trip I am going to back more today-- now i just need to write down everything i need to buy for the animals like food, litter, all that jazz so they will be taken care of while i leave.

I wanted a few more jewlery items so i got a bracelet, necklace, earrings set at New york and company yesterday-- and got to spend some time with my brest friend and her little girl he was a nice day out! Today will be a lot of cleaning, backing, grocery shoping, and trying not to fail again at giving a insulin shot! very crazy!! i hope the rest of the day is better than this morning LOL!!!

ok so i have a ADR at the WAVE-- i was very excited about trying this-- then all of the sudden i became unsure i think i am mainly worried that my mom will not find anything there that she can enjoy-- it is her vacaiton too and I want to make sure everyone likes something at the places they eat at. So if i decide to change this ADR i need suggestions please-- and fast LOL

I'm a nurse and I have cleaned every disgusting thing you can imagine when it comes to cleaning up body fluids, but cleaning up dog poo makes me gag .

As far as ADRs have you looked at Grand Floridian Cafe? We are going to eat there for the first time 9/29, but I think the menu looks pretty good. I need to go online and cancel a couple I have because I don't think Dale and Dallas are going to want to eat at LTT or the Tomorrow Land Cafe. I would like them both.

I'm glad your kitty has something treatable!! I didn't want to share my story earlier because I didn't want to scare you but my infamously chubby cat started to lose weight and stuff and he acted different and we took him in and the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him after running tests for the common things in cats (diabetes is one, but also like feline luekemia and some others I think). The vet just said that he thought my cat was dehydrated and kept him over night for fluids...WELL this was like the worst thing to have done. My cat got cancer in his lungs and because of this he had a bunch of fluids in his lungs and pretty much they vet "rehydrating" him just sped the cancer along.

I seriously had such a bond with this cat. I kid you not. My mom called me at school after the vet told her he just needed to be re-hydrated, but for some reason, I wasn't buying it and went home. I literally walked into the door and the vet called back saying the fluids sent my cat into cardiac arrest! So they stabilized him and we went down and my poor baby was on a kitty oxygen mask last time I saw him! And they had to put him down. So sad!!

So basically, I'm just so glad your kitty is treatable! That makes me very happy to hear!! I can tell how much Coby means to you! Hopefully you get used to giving him the shots and it is okay! But Yay!! I'm soo happy for you.

ANYWHO....did you know that tomorrow we are in SINGLE DIGITS?!?!?!?!



I may start texting you because you are on the exact same page of excitement as me! LOL I haven't started packing yet. I'm getting all my laundry done and deciding what stuff I'm bringing. I already have some ideas!! Oh man I'm SUPER excited!!

So your on weight watchers? I am on the south beach diet. Started on the fourth of July and so far I've gone from 154 pounds (I am 5'3) to 140 which is what I weighed this morning. I am pretty afraid that I am going to gain everything back and not be able to lose it again. But I really don't want to deny myself treats and desserts on vacation.

Your story about taking your cat to the vet reminded me of the time when mine was acting really sick for a week, vomiting and having pretty gross diarrhea, so we took him to the vet. The vet told us he just had gas. That was $100 gas

I force my cat to wear one. It is hilarious looking because he is so puffy but skinny so his hair poofs like crazy on either side of the jersey. We also have a pair of pants that he sadly outgrew (we got the outfit from Build a Bear, it also has a helmet).

congrats on your weight loss I love weight watchers-- i am not sure how much i lost but it was a good amout LOL I love the steelers!! are you going to the ESPN Sept 10th? I would love to met up being that we will most likely be there anyways aww i cannot believe your vet charged you 110 for your kitty that had gas!! But i am so glad he was ok though they are like my babies-- untill i have babies that is Oh i am eating on vacation too I hope the walking will help balance things out LOL and i will get back on points as soon as i get home!! My animlas are like my babies too!! I miss having an animal. I desperately want to get another one but don't think its a good time right now.
