hello everyone:) and welcome to by pre-trip report.. Let me introduce the cast:)

ME-princess:(Desiree) i am 28 years old...and in love with all things disney, i have been going to disney every year since 2004 which was our honeymoon:) every year since me and my DH have been going back to enjoy the world for our anniversary:) This year is very special because it is 5 years !!! wow does time fly!!

DH-pirate: (Josh)-Is 31 years old, and is a general manager and a workaholic! and is really really looking forward to this trip for some time away from work and .. to spend time with his wifey ( thats me:)

a little more about us: Josh and I got married in Sept 18th we have a beautiful wedding-- besides that fact we were blessed with two hurricanes!:confused3 we live in Pittsburgh PA , and the day before our wedding in 2004 we got some of the effects of hurricane Ivan-- causing flooding, this all happened the night before our wedding my rehersal dinner almost didn't happen, my reception hall had a slight flood that was thankfully fixed by morning--- and i was afraid we would have a complete wash out-- but thankfully our wedding day was beautiful and we were blessed with this .....

:yay:

we had a beautiful wedding day--- and we were both so excited to be in disney-- however-- it seemed like the curse of the hurricanes were still following us-- and hurrican Jeanne hit while we were in disney for our honeymmom:sad2: however, disney did a wonderful job and keeping us safe-- which i am sure many of us on the boards have experienced "disney lock down" at some point or another-- we had a midnight curfew-- and the dinning hall was a mad house while everyone was getting what they could get there hands on for food! we got some food-- some ice:) and we were good to go:) hurricane or no hurricane we were in disney-- newlyweds-- it was our honeymoon and nothing else mattered:) it was so magically that we are ready to enjoy our 5 year wedding anniversary together in our favorite place in the world! please sit back and enjoy my trip report-- some of the items in my report will be, pre trip shopping, ADRS, some of my diet tips from a weight watchers expert, and me asking advice on photos, dinning and anything else i can think of--- please join my trip report and i hope you enjoy!!!:woohoo:

last year we spend 8 wonderful days in the world:) my husband and I went with my mom and granny--- the enjoyed every minute of the trip also--- this year my mom is also going with us-- along with her friend-- and we will met up with them for a few meal along the way--- here are a few pics of me and my husband-- and some delicious food porn from last year-- let the drooling begin:)

last year we stayed at all star music resort in the preferred room-- and this is were we will be staying this year also:) we are never in the room only for getting ready in the morning and sleeping so the values work best for us:)

we stayed in the calypso building and loved the disney ambience this resort had:)

Here is a picture of DH and me with Baloo at Mickeys not so scary halloween party last year-- please ignore the date on my camera-- it was messed up and was saying 2006-- ( hence why i got a new camera yesterday more on that later) and also please ignore the way i look i lost a lot of weight since last year-- and lost a lot before disney last sept by doing weight wathers ( more on that later too)

but serioulsy-- did you think being on a hardcore diet with months was going to stop me from eating in disneyworld-- heck now thats what the diet was for !! LOL:rotfl2: Here are a few of my favorites

50's prime time pot roast-- will be getting this again this year

here are just a few food items to get you drooling over.. more of everything to come:) hope you are enjoying my first ever pre trip report--:goodvibesalso if you have any questions about anything in my report feel free to ask-- happy reading:)

good afternoon everyone:) i hope everyone is having a wonderful monday.. but i was a little dissapointed no PTR comments yet:confused3 thats ok i am just kidding with everyone:rotfl2: I guess i have to make this stand out a little more:) First of all i wanted to start with our flight info.. we are flying airtran airlines and we are leaving for disney sept 10th 2009, and returning Sept 20th-- so we get 10 full days this year:banana: one thing about airtran that i like is the cheap fares-- well this year we didn't get so lucky-- i think we are still learning how the airfare prices do up and down from day to day--we booked our disney vacation through disney directly-- but held off on the flight because it seemed a little expensive that day---we checked back everyday for about 3 weeks and instead of the prices doing down-- they went up:confused3 yikes!! so we decided to go ahead and just deal with the price and buy our tickets-- welll-- wouldn't you know a week and a half later the price dropped so much!! to 68 dollars each way!! so needless to say i was kicking myself in the butt!!:lmao: oh well what was i going to do!! they were already paid for-- which we ended up paying $536.00 for 2 plan tickets...which was higher than we wanted to pay-- but how else will i get to disney?

ADRS:
on June 11th we were able to make our ADRS i was kinda worried about this because ... i had to work and leave this in my husbands hands-- well he ended up doing a wonderful job and he got us the following:

9/11-Kona Cafe Breakfast 9:00am

9/11-Liberty Tree Tavern-Dinner 6:30pm

9/12-Coral Reef-Dinner 5:50pm

9/13-Kona Cafe-Dinner 6:15pm

9/14 50's Prime Time-Dinner 8:10pm

9/15-Whispering Canyon Cafe 6:30pm

9/16-Mama Melrose-Dinner 5:55pm

9/17-Narcoossee's- Dinner 6:00pm ( we are celebrating our anniversary dinner a day early)

9/18-Le Cellier -Dinner 6:00pm

9/19-Ohana-Dinner-6:30pm

so the hubby did good, we are trying a few new places this year-- so feel free to give me your opinions-- Mama Melrose, Narcoossee's, WCC, and Kona are all new for us-- but i am very excited about trying all of these places-- espescially to try Tonga Toast...

I am wondering if i should call Narcoossee's and let them know we are celebrating our anniversay dinner-- maybe if i drop a hint we can get a romantic table by the water:) we are having our anniversary dinner a day early because how our plans were working out

So i am also wondering who else out there does Weight Watchers? I have been doing this diet for over a year with wonderful success but-- when i go on vacation i want to enjoy myself, i just have a eye for picking the more healthier food items-- and after my disney trip i will be back to counting points:) I get a good job last year and not gaining a pound while i was there but losing 6!! i think because all of the walking!! but i will take it:) so i will not feel extremely guilty knowing that i will have the will power to jump back on the diet band wagon on Sept 21st so good luck to everyone else out there dieting for all the delicious disney food:)

now for my plans for the week:)

Sept 10th- we have a evening flight out of pittsburgh-- which is also the steelers home opener:) so we are going to have to leave early enough to avoid steeler traffic:) our flight leaves at 4:56 pm-- which is a strange time and we arrive in Orlando-- 7:35pm-- so we are planning after checking in-- to head to downtown disney that night for earls sandwhichs and some first night shopping , and then coming back to the resort for a late night swim

Sept 11th- we plan on spending the whole day at Magic Kingdom-- we always have to spend the first full day at magic kingdom-- which we will have dinner at liberty Tree for dinner-- and we are thinking of doing Mickeys not so scary halloween party that night-- because the park closes at 7pm that night-- we did this last year-- and we werent sure that it was worth it-- but being that we will already be there we might not want to leave and give it a try again.. if not we will take another late night swim:)

Sept 12th-Epcot-- we are planning on eating lunch at sunshine seasons, and dinner at coral reef and seeing illuminations:)

Sept 13th-Animal kingdom bright and early, then we will be hopping over to Kona for dinner, and then over to MK that night for extra magic hours:)

Sept 14th-Hollywood Studios- we will be eating lunch at pizza planet-- i know its cheesey LOL but its a tradition-- and my DH always has to play a few of the videos games inside-- this is also extra magic night at hollywood studios so we have a late night dinner at 50's prime time-- which i can't wait to get that pot roast again:)

Sept 15th-swim/shop/sea racers-- dinner at WCC- which i am still not totally sure about this one-- but we think we might give it a try-- this will be a break from the parks today

Sept 16th-swim in the morning-- then heading over to the boardwalk-- for the afternoon, then over to hollywood studios for dinner at mama melrose, then back for a late night swim and a few drinks

Sept 17th-swim/park hopping/maybe anniversary pictures? and dinner at Narcoossee's for our anniversary!!

Sept 18th- Epcot- finishing up everything at epcot-- and dinner at Le Cellier-- this is our actaul anniversary-- so i am trying to get the hubby a cake to be delivered to either dinner-- or to the resort:confused3 still thinking about that and there will be more to come on that:)

Sept 19th- More magic Kingdom--dinner at Ohana-- going back for a swim at resort and packing:(

Sept 20th-- leaving back to pittsburgh-- hoping for another steelers win:) our flight will hand in pittsburgh i believe around 4:45pm?

i hope you are enjoying this so far:) I know i am enjoying writing this! up next... why we love All star music and why we stay there:)

the first reason is we are all about value:) we figure a value resorts works best for us because we do not have children yet, and go, go, go in the parks like two crazy people!!! We only return to the resort late at night for a evening swim, and for bed. We have stayed at Pop Century before-- and also loved it there-- but when we started staying at all star music in 2007-- we liked it even better than pop.. it was smaller-- the buses seemed a lot better, we loved the huge Calyspo pool~~ and during the night this value resort is wonderful for kids-- they show nightly movies by the pool-- along with different fun and games for the kids, last year they had a 8 foot beach ball that they put in the bowl with a certain amount of time and everyone enjoyed trying to hit the giant beach ball. Its nice for parents to sit by the pool and watch there kids, or also join in on the fun. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids, and at night the pool was the place to be-- all of this made our vacaiton truely feel like we were in disney!! it has all of the ambience of a true disney vacation, and is a very colorful resort also with the colorful painted building and huge ions..

We also love ther food court.. and i loved that last year they had coke zero!! with my diet i have become a huge coke zero fan!! and i was estatic when i saw this-- but-- i was only able to get this for a few days-- they were doing a dinning room rehab at the time and had part of the dinning area/gift shop blocked off-- and they blocked the part with the coke zero!!! oh well i still lived with diet coke:) I was not going to let a coke zero mishap ruin my trip LOL... A few of the afternoons we would lay by the pool.. swim and then head into the food court for lunch-- and i scouted out something healthy-- which was a delicious make your own salad bad-- and came up with this little beauty
100_1924.jpg

anything you could imagine was there for you to put on your salad-- i believe i got almost everything on mine, with white balsamic vingerette for dressing-- this was best dressing ever-- so if you are a salad lover and on a hunt for healthy food-- check out the sald bar. The other foods items looks really good too for being a value resort food court-- i think we also had the pan pizza one night and that was sooo good.

we love all star music and we cannot wait to return--it really is like " going home" for us! I would recommend this resort to anyone:)

Up next-- some anniversary planning ideas/suprises??? i will need input on this:)

Hello, see told you I was coming right over!! You had quite a few updates, I hope I remember everything I wanted to say!! First of all you look beautiful in your wedding pictures!! Glad everything worked out with the weather! Second, congrats on sticking with weight watchers! You must be quite disciplined to be able to go back on it after all of that disney food!! As far as restaurants, I like Mama Melrose's. I think it's fun, most of the servers I've had there are really really fun! There was one server, he was an older gentleman that was just too funny!! I can't remember his name but I hope you get him. He's the one who "left" the marker at our table so we could leave our mark on the brick (see my pictures that I posted yesterday in my PTR!!!). I've never been to Narcossee's, WCC, or Kona's but I've heard great things about all of them. I def. think you should mention your anniversary, you never know what could happen!! ;) You're plans all sound great!!! And good job to your husband for getting all of those ADRs!!! Can't wait to hear more!!

well for starters i am not sure how to go about any of this-- so i will need assistance from my fellow disers:) First -- How do i go about ordering a cake and can they recreate small versions of cakes if i gave them a picture? This was a picture of our weding cake..
Picture272.jpg

Its my DH's favorite-- white buttercream icing, and white cake batter with almond extract-- delicious!! I though that being this is 5 years-- and since my DH doesnt have a very creative mind i could do this for him:) I would much rather have the cake delivered to our resort-- but i am not so sure if can be delivered to all - star music? If not can i get them delivered to a restaurant? Like either Narcoosse's or Le Cellier? I am such a simple person and much rather enjoy a slice of cake poolside late evening sitting in a bathing suit than trying to woof a piece down after dinner-- but i am guessing i am always take the cake to go. Also has anyone ordered or recreated a cake before? and how much do they run? and how did it turn out? this is my first suprise idea

Second idea: Is there a way to get personalized menus at Narcoosse's and if we tell them its our anniversary since its the year of celebrations will they do anything special? DH has been wanted to try Narcoosee's so bad!! I want to slip in some suprises

Third Idea: DH has always wanted to go snorkling in the tank at the living sea's -- i know for scuba diving i believe you have to be certified-- but i just wanted him to do the verison that is not certified? I believe i heard you can-- does anyone know how to go about this? and how much it is ? what it entails? and how did they like it?

Fourth Idea: my hubby is really into watching racing-- and he also wanted to do the indy speedway experience-- but i never though it was really worth it for the price has anyone done this? and what did they think? Here is a pic of Josh with a race car at i think downtown disney a year or two ago?
100_1223.jpg

Fifth and final idea: I think i saw someplace were you can now get pictures taking at resorts for around $100.00 were they put your pictures on a disk-- i was interesting in getting nice pictures taken by a CM at maybe Poly? has anyone done this? LOL

Thanks everyone .. I really need input on these ideas:) and any other anniversary ideas you can give me-- thanks so much:) I have all the ideas just need to find a way to pull them all or a few of them all off:)

aww thanks so much for stopping by my trip report:) you are the first one!! YIPPEE!!! thanks so much for the comments-- and you are right its so nice to met someone else from PA:) DH and I also have dreams of moving to Orlando area someday soon as well:) I will have to go back and join your top 5 game for sure on your trip report. Yeah it takes some discipline to get back on a diet right after disney LOL but i have come so far i don't want to ruin it. I am glad you enjoyed Mama Melrose-- I was a little iffy about trying it-- but i think for sure i am going to give it a shot now. I was pretty proud of my hubby too for getting the ADRS.. and i think you are right i am going to call back and mention my anniversary.. it couldnt hurt:)

For the first time walking down main street?? For me it takes my breathe away!! and it really truely starts my disney vacation!! Everytime my plane lands in Orlando I get tears in my eyes:) and get tears in my eyes again walking down main street!! It truely is magically.. This year is not only our 5 year wedding anniversary that we are celebrating in disney-- but we are going to try for something more magical while is disney-- and try for a baby for the first time!!!!:cloud9: so please send baby vibes, and pixie dust my way:) I know this doesn't of course always work out as planned-- but maybe will all the magic around us it will happen for us!! Wish us luck:)

Next up... my plan of attack for each park:)

Your wedding cake is beautiful.

I ordered a cake for my DS in May and it was delivered to Sci Fi.

DSCF2434.jpg

I called the cake hotline and told them what I wanted. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it was amazing. The cake was chocolate with chocolate butter cream icing, it had white chocolate filling and the Mickey topper was white chocolate. The chef painted it for us . The whole wait staff came to our table to look at the cake and comment that they had never seen a cake like it before :cloud9:. The total cost was $85.00. Mickey is still waving at me every time I open my freezer........:lmao:

Its my DH's favorite-- white buttercream icing, and white cake batter with almond extract-- delicious!! I though that being this is 5 years-- and since my DH doesnt have a very creative mind i could do this for him:) I would much rather have the cake delivered to our resort-- but i am not so sure if can be delivered to all - star music? Also has anyone ordered or recreated a cake before? and how much do they run? and how did it turn out? this is my first suprise idea;

Call the Grand Floridian bakery and see what they can do. I have seen on some of the threads that they were able to make small replicas of wedding cakes. I like sitting in the room eating cake after a long day in the park. We carried our cake back to the cabin in May and we actually ate on it for the rest of the week. We ordered a cake in May last year and it wasn't good. That is why I made specific requests so I knew I would get a fresh cake.

Second idea: Is there a way to get personalized menus at Narcoosse's and if we tell them its our anniversary since its the year of celebrations will they do anything special? DH has been wanted to try Narcoosee's so bad!! I want to slip in some suprises

I was going to make an ADR for our anniversary dinner, but my DH is so picky I was worried he wouldn't find anything he wanted to eat. I love lobster and steak so I would be fine.

Third Idea: DH has always wanted to go snorkling in the tank at the living sea's -- i know for scuba diving i believe you have to be certified-- but i just wanted him to do the verison that is not certified? Dale wants to do the Richard Petty experience too, but he keeps saying no when I offer it. We are big NASCAR fans so I think it would be fun. If he likes racing and you don't want to spend too much you can do the ride along experience.

Fifth and final idea: I think i saw someplace were you can now get pictures taking at resorts for around $100.00 were they put your pictures on a disk-- i was interesting in getting nice pictures taken by a CM at maybe Poly? has anyone done this? LOL
We did the pictures at the Grand Floridian in May and it was really nice, well except for the rain and clouds. We prepaid for the photopass cd at $99.95 and then the private session at the GF was $70.00. We got 2 8x10 and 3 5x7plus the CD. I really enjoyed it. Our photographer was very nice and offered to take any pictures we wanted. I am thinking about doing it again in September but going over to the Poly this time. Not sure yet.

Thanks everyone .. I really need input on these ideas:) and any other anniversary ideas you can give me-- thanks so much:) I have all the ideas just need to find a way to pull them all or a few of them all off:)

I hope I have been able to answer some of your questions. I love your ADRs you got lucky and got Le Cellier for dinner. I have been playing with the system all day trying to get another one, but I will just settle with what I have as long as I am in :thumbsup2.

is the Grand Floridian Bakery the same as the cake hotline number or a different number?

this is our first time going there:) i love filet and the hubby loves steak and lobster so it will work well for us

That sounds great, even though I have never done it. It looks like fun.

yeah one of my ideas in mind:) its hard to decide everything to do!! LOL

Dale wants to do the Richard Petty experience too, but he keeps saying no when I offer it. We are big NASCAR fans so I think it would be fun. If he likes racing and you don't want to spend too much you can do the ride along experience.

I was thinking about the ride along experience too for Josh its cheaper and he will be able to experience it

we were thinking of getting the pictures done at the poly-- do you think it was worth the money? and how was the quality of the pictures? and how did your pre order your CD and how does that work? sorry for so many questions:) but you are a HUGE help!!!:worship:

I hope I have been able to answer some of your questions. I love your ADRs you got lucky and got Le Cellier for dinner. I have been playing with the system all day trying to get another one, but I will just settle with what I have as long as I am in :thumbsup2.

Its just such a magical place!! thanks so much for the good vibes and i hope i take home a souvenir too:cloud9:

Bummer!!! I just got a email from Airtran Airlines that are flight times changed:( we were originally leaving Pittsburgh at 4:19PM-- but this is now pushed back to 5:49 PM and arriving in MCO at 8:02PM-- UGH!!! I was to get there earlier but oh well at least i am getting there

Coming home from MCO to Pittsburgh-- we now leave at 3:05pm and will get home at 5:19pm--- the flight time was supposed to leave at 1:35 pm-- nobody ever knows what will happen when booking a flight!!! I am not sure if i can change my flights to a earlier flight-- has this ever happened to anyone before? hmmm-- maybe i can call Airtran and see what they can do? i guess planning a trip is not planning a trip unless at least a few things go wrong LOL!!

i love how it seems like everyone has different tradition for each park-- on were you eat, first ride, favorite attraction-- so i am going to post mine-- and please feel free to post your too because i love hearing about these

Day one we will be going to a early breakfast at 9am at Kona Cafe-- then after breakfast will be hopping over to MK for our first day and to really get us in the disney mood. I have never actually made it to a rope drop before-- and plan to at least one day this trip-- but i will not be making that the first day because of our breakfast. When we arrive in MK we will always spend a little time on main street when we first arrive-- and take our time walking down the street admiring the castle, getting teary eyed ( well that would just be me LOL) taking a few pictures, and then its off to our first ride-- which became a tradition for us a few years ago-- which is PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN!!pirate:i am not sure how that stared but it just kinda stuck lol. After that will continue in that area of the park, and just ride whatever we pass:) skipping a few things along the way-- but i might want to try a few things this year that we normally skip-- one is the enchanted tiki room-- i have always heard mixed views on this-- but being that we might have extra time in the world this year we might check it out. i think we pretty much ride everything else in MK maybe except the tea cups.. aladdins magic carpet ride-- and the flying dumbos.

after awhile it will become lunch time! time for more declious disney food! For lunch we normally hit up pecos bills!! the hubby loves the fixings bar-- and i can get something semi healthy there ( if that exist in disney LOL) which is the chilled grilled chicken wrap, and last year i got the packet of sliced apples instead of fries and a yogurt for dessert instead of cake yummy!! Pecos Bills became one of those random traditions for us-- we just kinda stumbled upon ate-- there liked it-- and that stuck also LOL

after lunch we will move on to tomorrowland and toon town-- and do a little shopping-- i am such a kid at heart in disney and have been collecting the little plastic 4 dollar cups they sale that has the water and the glitter in them? everyone know what i am talking about? LOL so ... we normally scout out magic kingdom for my cups. My hubby thinks im nutts but i drink out of them everyday!!! Really im not normal at all when it comes to disney LOL!!! im beyond obsessed LOL. After some more riding, and finding my cups then we will be ready for dinner.

Dinner will be at LTT--can i say DELICIOUS!!! i know that this is also a place that gets mixed reviews but we love it-- and is a nice way to start our trip off!! I am a big fan of their delicious mashed potatoes, and i think the salad is to die for!!! which reminds me i should attempt to make the salad dressing someday:) We love everything about LTT-- but i do have to say that the characters will be sadly missed there this year!! it will just not be the same-- but i am sure that the food for be just as delicious!! I really enjoy that this meal is family style, it makes us really feel like we are " coming home" !!

Here is a pic of my delicious plate from last year
100_1777.jpg

after dinner we normally watch the spectro magic parade-- and watch wishes-- but this year its mickeys not so scary halloween party-- which we are still deciding if we want to do too-- if not it will be back to the resort for a swim and maybe a drnk-- well thats how i will tackle my first day...

up next my plans for day 2 in EPCOT!!!

before i start my plan for epcot-- I wanted to wish my puppy paco a happy first birthday!!! This little guy it so small with so much love to give!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PACO!!!

100_2612.jpg

ok now on to Epcot:) we have this on our agenda for day two of our trip--- we always trip to get to epcot early since its such a large park and spread out-- and we like to take out time and eat along the way.. and then walk it off.. and eat some more... and walk it off LOL you get the point! Last year when i arrived at epcot i was starving!!! It was hard to find something for breakfast in this park-- however we decided to see what Sunshine Seasons had to offer and we got one of these:

100_1887-1.jpg

The best strawberry shortcake ever!!!!!! we loved it!!! we shared this but i should have got my own LOL so this year we are going back to get another one-- but are thinking we are going to try lunch here this year-- so any reviews on how the food is there would be great. we always start epcot out with a ride on spaceship earth-- and let me tell you-- i LOVE the changes they made to it!!! it really made us laugh-- but i won't give away any secrets incase someone has not been on the ride since it was referbed. We normally do Epcot in two parts, Future world, and then world showcase-- we always try to hit the main attractions first and get a fast pass for Soarin which is my all time favorite epcot ride!! One ride that i really enjoyed in Epcot that i only went on for the first time last year was Ellen 's universe of energy ( i think thats whats is called someone help me out lol) i loved this ride!!! It was like a little hidden treasure in Epcot!! I mostly enjoy all rides in epcot except-- and i will never be able to do-- mission space!! A few years ago the hubby tryed it on the mild version and he said i would never be able to handle it and that he would never do it again the mild version made him sick to the stomach!! He is my ride tester:) i send him first to make sure its something that i can handle LOL

After riding most of the morning we will head to sunshine seasons for our lunch, and then travel over to world showcase! Last year i was introduced to my fave wine in Italy at world showcase!! It's the place were you can do the wine sampling for i think 4.00 a glass-- well i got something awful that tasted like rubbing alcohol:( i think i wanted it because the name sounded fancy LOL... then my hubby being the smart man he is said " give me a glass of the sweetest wine you have" well out came a sample of ...........

100_2089.jpg

ROSA REGALE!!!!! this is the best wine ever!! for those who have no tried this!! please do if you love a good wine!! This is a fruity, sweet wine, and a bubbly wine... its so good! Its a dessert wine and is supposed to be paired with chocolates!! This wine is very hard to find in the Pittsburgh area!! But i have my sources and was able to hunt down a place that sells it!!If you are from pittsburgh and want to know were to get Rosa Regale PM me lol i don't want everyone taking all the bottles of Rosa Regale and leaving none for me .

So of course the wine sampling was a success and we both found a wine we loved-- and we will do it again this year-- even though it will be a glass of Rosa Regale...

After walking around World Showcase and going in and out of shops it will be time to head over for dinner-- which we eat at Coral Reef this day!!! I was there i believe in--- 2006-- or was it 2007? well anyways lol we really enjoyed the experience there and are going back this yeah-- the ambience is so beautiful with the view of the tanks with all the fishes and sea life!! that is entertainment to me! Also they do have very good foods and desserts i am really looking forward to this meal!! Which i see they have a Wild mushroom lasagna on there menu mmm!!! so i think i may trip that this year, I do like seafood- sometimes-- but not likely to order something fishy as a meal LOL

After dinner we plan on walking off dinner--- can you see the trend here? LOL well if i am going to eat it i better darn well walk off those calories!! Then we will watch Illuminations-- i love this show!! I am thinking also about the Illuminations cruise this year one night of our trip-- has anyone done this before?? would it be worth doing with 4 people pitching in? and how much is it? or does anyone have the link to the information?

After Illuminations we will head back to all -star music-- for a night swim-- relaxing, and maybe sometime on my laptop and people watching-- then bed for another glorious day!!

up next my plans for ANIMAL KINGDOM!!!!

first i realized that i forgot to introduce my other doggie:) Sable

100_0701.jpg

Sable is 5 years old and such a sweetheart! we can't ask for better doggies-- untill we start trying for a baby in disney-- these are our children.. I just couldn't live Sable out-- since she is normally sitting my by feet or curled up to me on the couch as i try away my trip report!!

So-- a little on my background about Animal Kingdom-- don't get my wrong i really enjoy the park-- but out of all the disney parks-- i would say this is my least favorite-- maybe its because it always feels so hot and humid, and my curly hair becomes a poof ball, and i just feel miserable? Or maybe because it seems like as many times as i go to this park-- i always, and i mean always get lost in the park!! just my 2 cents on my feelings of animal kingdwom-- with that my said its moreso a lets get in, get it done, get out kinda deal for this park!! We like to arrive really early at AK and normally start with the safari-- , then expedition everest, its a bugs life, lion king, maybe some kali river rapids-- but we get the main rides done with and out of the way then its time for lunch

For lunch at AK we always do to Flame tree BBQ-- i do love this place!! so good!! I used to get the ribs which were always really good!! but.. since my healthy eating habits and weight loss got into place lol-- i now get the BBQ chicken salad--with the lime vingerette-- and its so good!! I also like sitting my the little lake while eating at flame tree-- i think last year we even saw baby alligators in the water!!! yikes!! But, we really do always enjoy our lunch here!!

After lunch we will finish up what we have to get done-- and then, eventually make our way over to Kona Cafe for our dinner ressie-- which i have never tried yet-- but i am very excited to try because of all the delicious reviews!! Has anyone ever got the Coconut almond chicken there? I am thinking of getting that-- but don't see too many reviews on it-- but i do see a ton of good ones for the Beef Terayki-- which may be another one of my options:)

After dinner at Kona its extra magic hours in MK-- so we are going to hope over there.... and get more done at MK!! we normally stay almost till the end of extra magic hours--then we will hop on the bus-- head back to the resort-- fill up out trusty refillable mugs-- and hit the sack-- since it will be a long day--

up next-- Hollywood studios!!

nobody seems to want to read or comment on my trip report? LOL:confused3 don't be shy!! come and join!!!!

I also wanted to add a none disney picture-- this is a pic of me and my best friend around easter time-- gives you a little better idea of what i look like now-- since my wedding pics are from years ago-- LOL i have the long dark hair-- which is straight in this picture thank godness to my amazing amika hair straightener-- that my hubby got me for Christmas that i will be taking to disney this year!! Its my life saver!!! Sometimes its tough having curly hair-- but when you find a straightener as good as this-- its heaven sent lol:cloud9:

just wanted to post that-- hollywood studios coming up soon!!

I'm here!!! You update so quickly I can't keep up!! :) Ok so for Epcot, you're plans sound great!! I think I may have to try that wine when I go, it looks delicious!! Also I love sunshine seasons, it has so many different things there! It's also a nice break from hamburgers and fries. I think you'll like it, you can def. find some healthy stuff there! Oh and happy birthday paco!!!! I loved doing the illuminations cruise, very nice view of it. I recommend it! I'm not sure where to get information on it sorry! Oo I love AK! But I can see why people don't really like it, it is REALLY hot!! Yum Flame Tree! It was really good but it's usually too hot to sit outside when we go so we usually stick with Pizzafari cause we can sit inside!! I'm going to have to look into getting an amika hair straightener! My hair is curly/wavy and VERY thick! It takes me forever to straighten it! Is it really that good? How long does it take to straighten your hair with it? Can't wait to hear about HS!!!

Hi!! Just found your PTR!! And guess what? I have terribly curly hair too. And guess what else? I'll be staying at a value resort too but Pop instead. Guess what else? None of our ADR's match. :sad2:

Did you think I was all full of not good news? NOPE!! Because on the bright side, we arrive on the same day and will be at all the same parks on all the same days. Our rest day is even the same! You're just a lucky duck who gets to stay a little longer!! So we will have to arrange something!!

I'm here- and loving your PTR so far! You are amazingly quick with all of your updates- which is fantastic! I take a lot longer with mine- but I have 6 more months to keep it going.

Anyways- I had to take notes to remind me what I wanted to comment on!

First- your wedding dress is sooo beautiful. You guys look so cute.
And your hair- OMG- I'm so jealous! I have a little curl in mine- but it's so think that it looks silly unless I straighten it out. I wanted mine to be down and curly for my wedding- but again- it is so thick curls don't stick around and stay pretty for too long. So you should flaunt that curly hair b/c it is BEAUTIFUL! :goodvibes

Also- good job on the weight watchers. My DFi is in school to become a nutritionist- so he is my diet plan. But he says lots of good things about weight watchers- where most diets he claims are inefficient- and not good for you in the long run. But he's a toothpick and definitely doesn't abide by his teachings.

About the cake- there is a cake thread in the disney restaurant board you should check out- it's got lots of good info.

That sucks about your plane tickets. I know that sometimes you can get really good deals on tickets. There's a place here that you can fly to Orlando for $38 each way. But it only leaves on Mondays and Fridays. So we're going to fly Southwest instead. But next trip (and there will be a next trip in the near future) I'm going to take full advantage of supper cheap tickets.

I love the "petty" race car! I'm from NC- so Nascar is in my blood.

I'm so jealous that you are going at Halloween- and have the chance to do the MNSHP! Halloween is my second favorite holiday (after christmas) and I would love to go to that some day.

Your dogs are soo cute! Is the little one in a Steeler's jersey? What kind of puppy is he? My animals are my children too- and my baby has his 2nd birthday this week!

Thanks for the wine recommendation! I'm a big wine drinker- so I will have to check that out while I'm there.

Good luck with trying for a baby! I think it would be extra magical to get preg at WDW. But I'm hoping that the magic isn't too strong while I'm there for my honeymoon- we aren't quite there yet!

Here is me sending you some pixie dust: :tink:

Love the report so far! Keep up the good work!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

LOL i guess i do update pretty qucikly:) thanks for stopping by again!! oh i would totally reccommend the amika for your hair!!! i have tried so many products and other things for my hair and nothing works!! My hair is very curley and goes " POOF" in florida weather-- even though i will mostly wear it curly on vacation-- for a few nights i will pull out the amika-- and let me just say-- this gets my hair poker straight!! it used to take me longer to straighten my hair because my hair was so long-- buts its a little past my shoulders now and takes at the most 20 mins? for poker straight hair!! you can't beat it!!

Try the Rosa Regale for sure:) you will love it!! I am looking forward to trying sunshine seasons-- what would you suggest to get there? Also Paco thanks you for the birthday wishes:)
