A Pre-Trip Report by a 5 yo princess...The final countdown!!

Hi Annika, I take gymnastics too! One time we got to dress up as princesses for gymnastics class. It was fun! I like to swim too, but I can't swim by myself yet. Mommy may put me in swim lessons this summer. We don't have show-and-tell in Kindergarten, but today we are having a popcorn party. Have you been to BBB? It was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back. I have to go to school too. See ya later!

Sarah - I took the pics last night, just got to get them uploaded, so hopefully later today I will be able to post them!

I didn't get to work on my notebook or the scrapbook last night. Shooting for that today as well. I need to change and ADR since our arrival time is earlier than I thought it would be as well. I also need to figure out when we will do fantasmic and such. I'll post the revisions once I'm done. Well housework calls!

Hi guys! Busy day here with a very clingy baby. Aubrey had an exciting day and says hello! First her speech teacher let her call me this morning because Aubrey told her "I know my phone number, we need to call mommy now!":rotfl: Then her name was drawn and she won the Elefun game today while at school. Some of you may not know, but Aubrey has Epilepsy. We are still working on the med dosage but she is doing great so far. She was also born with torticollis that physical therapy did not cure. About 3 mos ago, I started taking Aubrey to a chiropractor and she has been doing great. Today he told us that it is almost gone and instead of weekly visits we can now come back in 2 wks! So a very exciting day around here today! I'm still working on planning out our days and trying to rearrange some adr's but it isn't looking good for getting what I want. I'll post the new schedule and the pics hopefully later tonight, if not in the morning!

OK, so I made it back...first here are a few pics of the chain...

Anyway, got the ADR's all changed around. I had to change some plans to allow for dh's golf. See we had decided to mostly do breakfast adr's but that didn't work out well with him playing golf. See he likes to play in the mornings do to the heat. So here is how things are looking now:

8/15 Arrival day....1900 PF 5:10 pm We will then head over to MK for evening magic hours view Wishes and possibly Spectro and head back to the room for the evening.

8/16 DHS for the morning. Lunch with JoJo at 12:15 then at some point we will head to Epcot for the evening.

8/17 Dh will play golf in the AM. I'm hoping for a tee time in the 8:00 time frame. The kids and I will most likley head to the MK for a bit or play around at the resort. I always leave this open and see how we feel after getting up. At some point we will meet back up with dh at MK. We will take Ashton over to the barber shop for his first haircut!!! :scared1: We will eat dinner at CP at 5:00 and plan on being back in the room by 9 pm.

8/18 Dh will play his final round of golf again in the AM. Again morning is open for me and the kids, so we will see what that brings. We will meet up with dh and head over to DHS for the evening eating dinner at 50's Prime Time at 4:30 (still hoping to get this one a little later) and see Fantasmic!

8/19 Donalds Safari Breakfast at 9:30. Spending the morning in AK and once the heat is unbearable there (that place is really hot isn't it?) we will head over to Epcot for the evening and view Illuminations.

8/20 1900 PF Breakfast at 9:05. We will head over to DHS for most of the day and then swing over to AK for their evening magic hours.

8/21 MK in the AM. BBB at the castle at 2:00 then head over to Epcot and have dinner at Norway with the princesses (and hopefully Ariel will be there) at 6:30.

8/22 CM Breakfast 9:30 Spend some more time at the MK in the AM and then head over to Epcot for evening magic hours.

8/23 Sadly say good-bye to Disney but very excited that we will be returning for Christmas!:santa:

Hi everybody! Well we took advantage of the Disney store sale yesterday. I got both kids a couple of rash guards and got each of them a swim suit. I also ordered Aubrey's bday present today. We are getting her a Mix Max. Figure it will be great on the plane! So anyway, that is the start of my shopping. Need to finish making my lists though! Hope you are all well!

Bye for now!

Hi Aubrey! :waives: and Hi adisneymama!

Reading your PTR really made me smile. I am going to subscribe so that I can keep reading when you post new things.

I love the countdown chain. It is an adorable idea.

Aubrey, who is your favorite princess?

Hopefully you are both enjoying school vacation. :)

~ Tracey

Well we aren't on vacation here, but glad to have you join. I'll let Aubrey answer your question when we get home from gymnastics tonight! She'll be excited to see someone else reading.

Hi Tracey, this is Aubrey! My favorite princess is Ariel. I'm going to dress like her at BBB! Then hopefully, I'll get to eat dinner with her too! What is your favorite character?

Yesterday, mommy took me and Ashton to the Disney store and we got some bathing suits. Mommy said we can get wet in the pop jets while at Disney. I cut my link off the chain tonight! I like doing that! Got to go to bed now!

Hi everybody! I talked to my brother today and we might be taking my nephew with us on the August trip. He is 3 and has never been!:scared1: My brother is in the military and may be sent to Iraq again. We tried to take DN last year, but couldnt' work out the logistics. Please keep your fingers crossed that he gets to go this time!:wizard:

Consider my fingers and toes crossed!!
I swear, everytime I see a pciture of Ashton, I just want to buy a ton of baby socks, and stripe t-shirts with blue jean overalls. It was my favorite things to buy when my two were that age.

LOL Kim! I love the overalls, but he is not a fan of socks!:rotfl: Not much of a fan of shoes either though! Got to get busy but I'll post our latest hopefully soon!

Happy weekend!!! We have some projects going on here with the house so been a bit busy with that.

Aubrey wanted to say Hi to everyone. She is getting very excited about the trip, but for the moment is focusing on her birthday party. I can't believe she is going to be 6 in just a few weeks!:sad1:

Anyway, I have made a list of the summer clothes the kids need and am looking for a few things to try to pick up specifically for the trip. I'll go ahead and pack those away when I get them. I'm also making a list of things that need to be replaced this time like our fan mister bottles. Other than that, things are pretty well set. Aubrey is really enjoying cutting the links in the countdown chain each night.

So anyhow, have a great nite and weekend!

I felt the same way when Joey and John turned 6.

Now Joey is in the double digits, is almost as tall as me, can wear my shoes, and pays the same price that I do to get into the parks. I just look at him and think, this used to be my little 4 lbs baby.

Hey everybody, sorry I haven't posted. It has been a long day. Aubrey is going to have to have her tonsils and adnoids removed and we are busy trying to get that scheduled. She isn't happy about it. She doesn't quite understand what it means, but since it involves the hospital she isn't really for it. She keeps telling me she doesn't want them taken out, that she wants to keep them! LOL

Anyway, hopefully I can get back to posting tomorrow. Have a great nite!

Joey had that done about her age. Just tell her she'll get all the ice cream and popcycles she can stand. Just don't give her any with red dye. Also, i bought Joey a special stuffed animal just for that day. They let him keep it wih him until right before they started. Maybe you could do that for her.

Kim she doesn't care about the ice cream. She'd be all for it if it didn't involve the hospital. She did wake up this morning saying she wanted to cut all the rings out of the chain and go to Disney today!:rotfl2: Anyway, surgery is scheduled for May 12th.

Aubrey says hello and I promise Sarah and Stacey and Tracey! we will be back to your trip reports as well! Anyway, got to get to bed for now, but hope to be back on tomorrow with a better update!

Yeah, one of the things that I love about my mother in law being a nurse is that she works in the hospital that we use. They have been going to her office since they were infants, so they actually like the hospital. Also, since she works where she does is the hospital, she was able to go back into the O.R. with him until he was out. Give her a big hig. I know it stinks, but at least she'll feel better afterwards.

Hi Mr. John! Ashton says Hi too!
Today me and Mommy got to go to a tea party. My Daisy Scout troop hosted it. It was a lot of fun and I got a badge for my tote bag. We had to get dressed up for it too. Yesterday, me and Mommy and Ashton watched a show about Disney and it showed BBB. I can't wait to go back there. Did you see it? Tell everyone hello, I have to go to bed now because I have school tomorrow.

Hi everyone, I'll try to update more tomorrow. I'm sick and we have decided to put our house on the market so things will be hectic to say the least! Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend!
