The Metro was located VERY close and I needed assisatnce in figuring out the ticket machine which was provided by Glen!!!What ever happened to the little ticket counters where you said I wanna go to ...... and they handed you the ticket or did they go out with OUTHOUSES Which is another topic to come
Tickets in hand we headed to the NIGHTMARE escalator right Jaimie !!Rob suggested we sit on the rail and ride it Thanks Rob!!!
Rob was our subway guide and a fine job he did !!We were good soldiers and followed his directions very well !!He said as soon as the doors start to open get in or off as the case may be !! I wonder how many trambled Peeps I left following those directions But we are after all Liessa's army and must follow orders !!!When we got off the sub way or underground as they call it in England !!!!We were met with the SIGHTS I saw the Big Needle is that the Washington Memorial !! I know bad soldier but I'd recognise Big Ben !!!

We walked briskly to the Smithsonian Okay drawing blank of which one but I know what we saw !!!!!! Dorothy's red slippers and lots of shoes and purses We restrained Liesa from trying to buy any!!!!Also marvelled at all the First Lady Gowns and THEN we saw it

DUMBO!!!!
Finally it was time to say goodbye to Glen and Judy I worried about how much trouble he was in and if he would ever speak to me again !!I still had some leather in my mouth from earlier insert foot !!

We then were 5 and the 5 soldiers set off for 'monami Gabi"

Then we were 7 coming up!!!!

Rosie - I love the trip reporting!! We did order the same things at BK - however, only I was worried about what it would do to my stomach that late at night!!

And you are so right - Rob was jealous of our Eggs Benedict - and they were delicious!! I think we made the right choice!

As promised the 5 soldiers would become 7 again!!
After we headed back to the Metro and were faithful soldiers always remembering to RUSH the doors !!We arrived at the Dreaded Escalator !!I tried to get a decent pix BUT the top was sooooooooooo far away it wasn't visible !!!

Any who ( love that word) we needed to get directions and asked the guy at the booth , who wasn't selling tickets not sure what he was doing but a Tour guide he was not and once again it was a WOMAN who gave us Good Directions . Rob had now become the OFFICIAL Navigator (is that the wrong branch of service ) and he quickly guided the Troops to our destination !!
Seated this time ,not in total isolation but kinda we waited and very soon and on time in came Ty and Kent . So once again we were 7 !!!
Glen was not there and for some reason I didn't snap pix of everyones food !!
Liesa said she knew what I would order which I thought was very good as I hadn't a clue , their were finally 2 choices and here's where I departed company from Tracey she picked my second choicd e the steak with blue cheese and I picked the scallops , which came with the most delish creamed cauliflower !!Never tried it .. you should !! I am not a GREENS gal so I had the Frittes instead ( shoestring potaoes in our lingo!!) Liesa said she was wrong as she thought I'd order onion soup!!! Well I had definately been eyeing that option and who am I to fight it !!So guess what Tracey and I both ordered it !! This was becoming a little eery I mean we really have such similar food tastes '

I have to leave you there and conclude tomorrow !!! I am really tired and I need to check in on a couple of threads before hitting the Hay !!!!

Somehow when we were at the Smithsonian like 15 years ago (it might be more), we did NOT see Dumbo. Mark sees this and we will be taking a trip to DC just to see it.

Yes seeing Dumbo was soooo unexpected !!We kinda thought some Disney might be there but DUMBO was perfect!!!

Kyle gets his stitches out tomorrow !!!Wish ME luck!!!!!!!

Well I almost had the post up last night BUT "Poof" it went !!!

Soooo I left with Tracey and I agin showing the same Food Tastes I know Liessa ordered the Salmon and so did Ty !!I believe Kent had the Halibut !! Whatever side he had Ty was sneaking tastes quite a bit
JJ had the scallops also and I believe Rob had the Blue Cheese Steak!!!Everyone seemed to enjjoy their food immensely!!
It was then time for Rpb and JJ to leave and we were down to 5 !!!Ty and Kent ordered desserts and our wonderful waiter gave us 4 chocalately pieces of HEAVEN

Meal over we headed back to Tracey's car and said our sad farewells !!!It was a WONDERFUL Day
Tracey and headed back to our Hotel in Hagerstown! Full and tired we hit the sack !I first reset the alarm( remember the Rope Drop wake Up)
Well it went OFF at the right time BUT wouldn't shut offI swear that thing had it in for us

We headed down for our delish Breakfast !!This Hotel gets an A + for that we had eggs, bacon ,potatoes and all the other goodies too !!Good start to our day !!

On the road by 10 a.m minus Map Quest Just used my trip Tik and prayed !!We were happy to see ENOLA( backwards ALONE) so were on the right track !!

Somewhere in PA we kept seeing this Signs Bright Yellow and they were FUNNYHere are a few I remember
Beware Aggressive Driver area !!
High DUI accident area !!
Buckle Up for the next 10 million Miles !!!
Tracey help me here I know there were more !!We were rolling at them!!

Finally we were back in LeRoy and I sadly said our GOODBYES
