A POLE Dancing Escort!!!!!Rosies Free Trip update WE ARE BACK 10/20

Camille, thanks so much!

I have good news this afternoon!!

Nurse Nancy called today with news - The cancer is a grade 1c - the lymph node biopsies came back clear as did the "wash' they do for cancer cells. She said the one worrisome thing, it that the cancer did invade over 50% of the wall of the uterus...but it was contained there and all of that is out, so that's the main treatment. The Drs might recommend "just a little bit of radiation" to be safe. I have an app't on Tuesday Oct 5 (so soon!!) with the surgeon so she can go over everything. Feeling much gratitude today for God listening to friends prayer. :grouphug:

Otherwise, I am exhausted and sore! Keep dozing off... lol.....oh well, in a few days will be feeling much better. Only 6 weeks to full recovery.:thumbsup2

Rosie, I will be catching up on your PTR later. But I just had to say to Christine: :woohoo::woohoo: I know you still have doctor visits to go and possible radiation, but I think this good news is leading you in the right direction.

I have good news this afternoon!!

:cheer2::cheer2: Glad to hear that you got good news. I am following along with the treatment of another Disney-friend who is dealing with treatment of her second bout with breast cancer. Both times were discovered early and treated "easily" and successfully. Sending :littleangel: prayers and :tinker: pixie dust your way for continued good news and positive results.

Good Morning, Friends!

Rosie thank you so much for posting on your thread - soo sweet, as always. I see you managed to stay out of trouble while I was in the hospital.:rolleyes1

So....the Drs found unterine cancer at least 50% into the uterine wall...but..let's remember cancer is not the worst news anymore. It's serious, yes, but can be treated and cured!

Yesterday a lovely lady brought me Communion in the hospital - as we got to talking I told her what the Drs found - 5 yrs ago she had stage 2b uterine cancer and is doing GREAT! No one was hanging their heads - Nurse Nancy even said she would be calling me today or tomorrow and hoping we'd be doing the "happy dance". It is possible they got it all or could be at a very treatable stage. Let''s think positive!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you SO much for the good thoughts and prayer...don't stop now, please? :grouphug:

Christine so glad to read this from you !!!Your friend Janet in Pa has been keeping me informed !! I am praying for GOOD news tomorrow !!!I am working a double so may be late before I find out unless I can sneak on inthe afternoon at 2nd job !!!My thoughts will be with you as will all your Dis Friends :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Oh Christine I didn;t read the second post !!!I can't tell you how happy I am for the news !!! I underwent 6 weeks of radiation and worked as well , it is now where near as exhausting or devasting as chemo!!!If that is the worst scenario I am confident you will be fine !!:worship::hug::hug::hug:

WHAT! When did this happen?!? I'm just glad to her he's okay now, sorry Rosie.

It happened August 21 st!!15 minutes before the girls birthday party:scared1:He crashed on his electric bike , went flying and came down HARD on the handle bar which went into his abdomen below the belly button!!! He needed 15 stitches and a catscan to ensure no organs were damaged which they weren't !!He is fine now !!! The first few days were torture as he milked it for all he was worth!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I have been doing Fuzzy Disney Math again!!!I think thes gift cards are going to be hard to spend:rotfl2: We have 5 of them :scared1: at $200 each !! So Ihave sorta been figuring out what to spend them on so far I have come up with these ideas
1. 10 Refillablr Mugs about $145
2.Tips for 5 meals approx $350
3. Breakfast ( muffins, yoghurts etc I am NOT fighting the foodcourt in a.m.)
approx $300 That comes to $795

So what else can we do with $205 ????

Some ideas

F&W samples
The French Bakery
Autograph books for all of them
A photopass CD
Individual PP pix !!

Any other ideas????

Mickey Ears!!!!!!!!!!!! and Mickey Bars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rosie, I think they would all really like the autograph books. That's a great idea! But what about a hay ride at Ft. Willderness? or a couple of pins for each one? A disposal camera for each of them? And have a photo contest of some kind when you get back?
