DD who will be 14 wants a Pink Birthday Party. A few years ago Pink was for a baby but I digress.

I need your best Pink ideas for food & decorations.party:

Obviously pink frosting on the cake and strawberry ice cream. Pink streamers and pink goodie bag items such as pink lipgloss, pink scented lotion, pink nail polish etc.............

I know in Oct for Caner Month alot of Salons did pink hair extenions. Maybe you could fing some & put in the girls hair. shirley Tempels to drink.

I would do shades of pink (hot pink, medium pink, pale pink) tablecloths, streamers, balloons.

Bowls of pink M&Ms, pink cake (food coloring will work will for lots of desserts or cakes!)...

Favors of pink lipgloss and nailpolish.

There is a perfume called "Pink Sugar" by Aquolina (I love it and wear it, but it would be appropriate for a younger girl- smells like a grown up version of cotton candy or something).

Pink punch or pink lemonade.

You guys have great ideas! We will do shades of pink. The glitter on the walkway will be cool too. :cutie:

Around graduation time there was a Candy Buffet thread on here. It was adorable- tables lined with jars and glasses full of candy. Then little take out boxes at one end and each person got to pick their favorites. They were pink themed ones and rainbow ones that were on there.

Here's a picture of one.

How about find some pink marshmellows - you can do a lot with them. Like pink rice krispie treats, and candy kebobs - make the kebobs as the centerpieces for each table - that would be really neat! Get a fish bowl vase - fill it up with dark and light pink M&Ms and then stick the kebobs in there - functional and edible!

ETA - And I'm sorry, but pink is not just for babies!!! I LOVE pink - I wore it today infact!
Have a great party!

You could do the old 7up/Gingerale over raspberry sherbet and serve it in Martini glasses.

If you add red food coloring to popcorn it turns pink not red. You could even make them into Popcorn balls if you were really into it. :)

Pink Lemonade
Raspberry Sherbet
You can tint dips pink with food coloring

They have pink plastic cups at Target in the paper goods section. They are really cute (as cute as a plastic cup can be.) When I saw them I thought they would be cute for a girl's birthday party.

Are you sure she wants a pink (color) birthday party and not a Pink (singer) birthday party??

You could find snowballs or snoballs-the snack cake thingies if they still make them.

Pink boas.

Is this before Christmas? If so, don't forget about the pink Christmas tree someone posted about a while back.

Pink hair spray paint stuff.

I saw someone purchasing a cotton candy maker a while back at Target. I don't think it was more than $30. Pink cotton candy would be cute.

You could do a chocolate fountain - I bet you can put food coloring into white chocolate. That would be cool!

And here I was thinking this thread was actually about a Pink birthday party!

DD will really be let down or just plain crazy if that is what she means:laughing:
