This is Lisa with 2 of her favorite interpreters - I will let her tell you about them. :)

The picture was taken on my last trip to Disney in March. It was taken after Hunchback. The two interpreters are Jennye and Brian. They are so nice, Jennye is originally from Miami and attended the ITP that I attend. I had seen her but never meet her while she was in the program here.

It's nice to see the people you have been tlaking about. Thanks to both of you for sharing.

That's a great pic! Nice to see you, Lisa......

I am on vacation right now so I only have my laptop - I hope these pictures come out OK. If they don't look right I can redo them when I get home.

Here are 4 more pictures that Lisa asked to post... they are great pictures! :)

Some more interpreters.

The top picture is Sabrina and Vince. Vince has awesome facial expressions. Sabrina I have only seen at Animal Kingdom.

The next picture is Brian again and Tara. Tara is such a sweet person. A great interpreter too.

After that comes Theresa. If it weren't for her I would not have enjoyed Scoop's pin talk. WOW she really kept up with him and from going a second time without her, I found there was no way I could keep up with him speech reading.

I don't have any pictures of Angela. Everytime she interprets I end up so into her interpreting that I forget to take a picture of her.

Finally my favorite castmember. She isn't an interpreter. Her name is Jessie and she does the aerial ballet at Festival of the Lion King. Jessie went to school with my daughter from 3rd grade through high school. I've watched her grow up into the beautiful ballerina she is. She is a very special young lady in my book.

The pictures show up fine.
Nice pics, Lisa.

Great pictures, and nice to see you Lisa!

If anyone would like to see our family, we're at www.picturetrail.com and type in 3kids4me under the album name. There are some Disney pictures there.

The one thing that my daughter found really hard was actually the walk from handicapped parking to the entrance. It's far! We'll be going back in November and we're very excited. We found this really cool sleeve that she can wear over her PICC line so that she can go in the pool....not sure about what to do for water rides...maybe just cover it with a plastic bag?

If you don't have a wheelchair with you, you might actually be better off parking in the regular parking lot and taking the tram. Trams pick you up from the parking area and also drop you right near the turnstiles at each park. The CMs do save spots on the ends of rows for people with mobility problems. That way, you are close to the tram spot. Just tell the first CM (and each one after) that you have problems walking, but don't have a wheelchair and ask to park close to the tram stop.

Also, if you are on site, the buses at MK are a better way to go. It lets you off anf picks up right at the turnstiles. The Epcot and AK buses let you off about the same distance as using handicapped parking.
