A Perfect Day!

Just wanted to share something from our recent trip.

It was myself, my daughter, my daughter's boyfriend and a girl friend of my daughter. We 3 girls have been to WDW numerous times. It was her boyfriend's FIRST trip.
We started Sunday at MK so he could see the castle and hopped over to HS to see the last night of Osborne lights.
At the end of the night he said that it was the most perfect day ever and that if that was the only day we went he'd remember it forever. We still had 5 more days planned but to him what we had done the first day was PERFECT.

I guess this is just kind of a reminder to all of us who find things to complain about regarding WDW and try to see it through the eyes of someone who is seeing it all for the very first time.

Kind of put it into perspective for me.

There's always something uniquely special about the first day, and even the first trip. I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into planning and co ordinating the trip as well, to help make it so special for him. What a wonderful feeling to come home and say it was perfect

And we're not HUGE planners. When we go, we just go. Loose planning as to what park on what day and a few of our favorites but then it's all just enjoying and taking it all in.

Thanks for sharing that - what a sweet story. You're right about the complaints - I think it's good to put it in perspective and appreciate just being in such a magical place!
