A New TRUELY UNIQUE dining review from Mister Disney!

Chocolate Chip Cookies:

Ingredients:

1.) 532.35 cm3 gluten
2.) 4.9 cm3 NaHCO3
3.) 4.9 cm3 refined halite
4.) 236.6 cm3 partially hydrogenated tallow triglyceride
5.) 177.45 cm3 crystalline C12H22O11
6.) 177.45 cm3 unrefined C12H22O11
7.) 4.9 cm3 methyl ether of protocatechuic aldehyde
8.) Two calcium carbonate-encapsulated avian albumen-coated protein
9.) 473.2 cm3 theobroma cacao
10.) 236.6 cm3 de-encapsulated legume meats (sieve size #10)

To a 2-L jacketed round reactor vessel (reactor #1) with an overall heat transfer coefficient of about 100 Btu/F-ft2-hr, add ingredients one, two and three with constant agitation. In a second 2-L reactor vessel with a radial flow impeller operating at 100 rpm, add ingredients four, five, six, and seven until the mixture is homogenous. To reactor #2, add ingredient eight, followed by three equal volumes of the homogenous mixture in reactor #1. Additionally, add ingredient nine and ten slowly, with constant agitation. Care must be taken at this point in the reaction to control any temperature rise that may be the result of an exothermic reaction.

Using a screw extrude attached to a #4 nodulizer, place the mixture piece-meal on a 316SS sheet (300 x 600 mm). Heat in a 460K oven for a period of time that is in agreement with Frank & Johnston's first order rate expression (see JACOS, 21, 55), or until golden brown. Once the reaction is complete, place the sheet on a 25C heat-transfer table, allowing the product to come to equilibrium.

You concierge addicts can "fancy-up" anything, can't you? :rotfl2:

Especially loved the description of the "mechanically pulled, ground into a paste, formed, and dipped in lucious breading, then deep fried" chicken fingers. Mmmm, Mmmm, good!! :crazy2:

Mister Disney,

Do I need to get up EARLY on my 90 day mark to start calling at 6:58am to get the coveted ADR for Rosie Tout Magasin de Café ? Do you think that the IPO staff at the GF can be trusted with such an important ADR? I mean, I will be upset if we miss CRT... but I will be DEVESTATED if we can't get an ADR for here, especially after your wonderful review and photo!!! :rotfl:

BTW, if you two are ever in Atlanta, come by and I'll cook you some true Southern culinary delights (aka Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, fried okra, corn on the cob and my famous Death by Chocolate Cheesecake. All washed down by a glass of sweet tea- or Diet Coke ;) )!

Looks delish, but I was wondering, do the grapes count as a dessert on the dining plan or can I order something different from off the menu? Did they offer an appetizer? :rotfl2:
Loved the review Mister Disney!

Great review Mr Disney. I have taken the liberty of copying your review and forwarding it to our local food section of the paper in hopes they will offer you a job . Thanks i needed a laugh at 3 am

I think I have devoured my last chicken nugget after reading its preparation. BLECH! Thank goodness for those grapes...just good ole natural fiber.

Mister Disney all I can say is:

"BRAVO"

One of the best reviews I have read. I must make my PS now. I hope they are not booked for August.

Mister Disney, you have got to write some more in your so unique style. One a day ,please ,would be nice :love1: Thanks for me giving me a great laugh today,

Claire

Mr. Disney, I opened the food porn thread hoping to glimpse your latest culinary adventure ~ I'm so glad I was not disappointed!

Only a true talented gastronomical gourmand would have been able to find the delights in such a simple peasant fare.

Thanks for sharing the wonderful review. I think this will get more people to Rosie's and away from the more mundane places like California Grill. :)

Concierge? What do you mean Concierge?

The Mickey plate was adorable.......I would eat there for that alone. Great review!!!! I read it to DD who is not amused. But she too loved the Mickey plate.

Y'all are way too cute. :) I'm so sad for the folks at V & A's, they must be bereft to know you've found a new love.
We didn't get to go to V&A this past weekend. We only had one dining credit left and decided to SPLURGE on Rosie's! :Pinkbounc

I echo Poohpcgirl, if you are ever near Kansas City, a city famous for BBQ and Beef steaks, you must let me know. Together, my DH and I are a BBQ team that cannot be beaten! But if you wanna go out for a steak in a real restaurant, I'll take you to a great one. Thanks for the fun and laughs!

:rotfl2: OMG you really are hysterical! I want you to come and visit us too in NH!

WOW….4 invitations to dinner….I am honored! :love1: :love1:

BluOrchid2, I DO eat with my hands and love BBQ. I am sure we don't have nearly as good BBQ as you do out your way!

Triplefigs, you'll be the first private review Mister Disney does. I LOVE biscuits…do they come with Grease / Sausage Gravy? And Diet Coke will go GREAT with the chocolate cake. Diet Coke brings out the subtle flavors of the cocoa used in cakes!

Loved the review Mister Disney!
Alas, the fresh fruit offering changes daily, based on the availability at the local market. Substitutions are not allowed I am sorry to say.
Rosie's offers appetizers, but we were concerned with having enough room for our entrée and didn't want to risk being too full.

Yes, Peasant Fare, from the South of France, down towards the French Riviera!

Yep, you come on down to Atlanta and I'll make sausage gravy, grits, the works! Even some collard greens smoked on the grill. My FIL makes the BEST homemade biscuits in the world. Us Southern gals know how to cook and eat! And I ALWAYS have a case (or two) of aged diet coke in the wine cellar...

Love the plate, you know the serviceware/crockery at V&A is no where near as fancy as that. It would be nice to have a seperate compartment actually attached to your plate for the bread at V&A. It would save them so much on the washing-up too. Plus it would be nice to see them actually having a matching set, rather than all those terrible odds and ends you get. Perhaps I ought to write to them and suggest it.

Thanks!

This thread is just too funny!

I laughed so hard my golden Mickey ears fell off my head.

It would have been too hard to explain to my boss why I was laughing so hard when I am supposed to be working. He is already not too happy with me wearing golden ears.

thanks for your culinary review. maybe you should work for the food network!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the report - it is magnifique!!!!!
