We've been back for 3 weeks and one day and have another trip being planned.
This was probably our most successful trip with everything going to plan and some things even better than the plan, it just makes that thud at the bottom of the come down even harder to take.
Next year won't be as long or as extravagant but i'm sure it'll still be wonderful.
Next trip will be 3 weeks (or four, who really knows
) with around 2 weeks in Palm Springs (now my DH's favourite place on the planet), 4 days in Anaheim, 3 days Carlsbad and wanting to also head to Bearizona and DH has decided he'd better do some serious golfing there.
I'm hoping to do an early morning hot air balloon flight there

), i'm really wanting to start trying to get to some educational places as DS8 gets older to add a different dimension to our Disney-esque trips

Your DH must really love golf! We had 2 nights in the Palm Springs area which we loved, but can't imagine spending 2 weeks there. We did a mountain bike tour of the San Andreas fault line and the aerial tramway. I'd like to go again and spend more time up there, do some hiking etc. We went up just before sunset and didn't get much time there. I highly recommend you spend some time in Joshua Tree NP. We spent a whole day driving through there and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
