I am so irritated. I have not had the best of luck with things crediting almot anywhere. I know what I am doing, clear cookies, have new email addresses all the time, etc. But then I didn't get credit for a shopping order I did through SR because I supposedly went through another affiliate. Now I know SR is the only place I go to drugstore.com to buy so that cannot be true. If it happened I cannot figure out how I clicked on a banner to get there!! It wasn't much money it just is so frustrating. I kow it's not SR's fault -- just so darn frustrating. I could have gone to the regular store and bought the medicine and had it faster (I needed the medicine as I was wick) but I wanted to be a good reward siter!!

Just really needed to vent!!! Sounds all too silly now
And napster is not crediting yet for me either!!! WAAAAA boohoo

:grouphug: Thats okay, let it out!! Thats what your RSAS are for!!! (Reward Site Anonymous Sisters) :lmao: Were all here to support one another right girls?

We have all been there. I try to focus on the ones that DO pay & consider that anything I get is more than I started out with. Hang in there:grouphug:

I'm really disappointed in drugstore.com. That's two purchases in a row that I have provided them confirmation emails and they have emailed me back and told me that the purchases were not made through my site. The only other thing that I can possibly think of is that 1) some kind of spyware or toolbar inserted a cookie, or 2) they don't really bother to research them.

The really sad thing is that there are a lot of people who spend countless hours putting up websites (like the DIS) where they do NOT have members to tell them about the purchases that they make through their site. So they never even know that these companies are ripping them off. At least the rewards sites know when we are being jacked. Online advertising is like that whole thing they say about making sausages. You don't really want to know what goes into making it. :(

I am in the same boat as you actually. I shopped through Sunshine for Dick's sporting goods. I logged out, cleaned out everything, logged back in and I still don't have credit from them. And I have been getting them from everywhere else.

I shopped through SR for Dale and Thomas Popcorn and never got credit. It was such a small amount (50 cents) that I didn't even bother filling out a trouble ticket.

I remember reading that with Dick's, if you leave items in your shopping cart, you won't get credit. That you have to clear the cart, then go in through SR, and THEN put items in. I do'nt remember where I read this, but I do remember reading it. Maybe that's why. :(

As for venting, it's just SO disapointing to do something and not get credit. The eBay thing stresses me out, because I'd been afraid of joining for years, but got up my courage and went through SR, and now it looks like it's up to the largesse of the eBay web/advertising people as to whether I do or not. And even without that sign-up SR credits, I still want credit for what I bought! :(

But it's not just SR, I've got something not crediting on mypoints, too.

And it's not like there are do-overs, I mean, I don't think I can just start another account with a photo site, or ebay, or whoever...it's a one-time thing that you do with faith, and the owner of the site has faith in the company (or advertiser?), and when things don't work for whatever reason, it's just a huge bummer.

On the other hand, I'm getting quite a view of the world of advertising! Last night I started seeing the whole world as a big rewards program...my wamu debit card (3 cents per debit transaction!), Club Card, Fred Meyers card (and upromise for the cards if you sign up), frequent flyer programs, etc etc etc....:upsidedow

I'm getting nervous. I bought something from the Container store at SR last weekend and nothing is pending in my account. I hate filling out trouble tickets for a few cents. I"m not sure what i"m going to do. I don't think any other rewards program has them either.

If it makes you feel any better, I am waiting for drugstore.com to credit from the beginning of March. They keep sending me emails with shopping deals. I think I will email them and tell them WHY I am not shopping with them again!

MyPoints has them listed. I can't check QR as the site seems to be down but I think they may have them also. It's confusing........you will find it under the "T's" on My Points rather than the "C's".

OT....but I love that store. I wanted to place an order but what I wanted was backordered with no indication of when it will be in stock. I have to drive to Boston at the end of June. I drive right by the store on Route 9. I'll just have to stop in then.

ETA......I just sent an email to Drugstore.com Customer Service. Probably won't do any good but I feel better!!! :rolleyes1

I did the Green Tea offer on CashDuck. It was for a $11???? gain. I think I paid $3.97 for it. Never credited. I will email her next week about it. My DH likes Green Tea stuff and it is good for you, so I was looking forward to getting it.

So, we understand. Very few of mine do not go through. But I know when you do an offer or shopping, I am constantly looking at my amount to see when and how much then go up. And when it does not go up, it is very disappointing....

Sometimes it is good to file a trouble ticket even if it is for a very small amount because there could be a problem with the link or the merchant's tracking. For example, someone filed a ticket a couple of weeks ago for A Cherry on Top. Because I have never gotten a credit for them, Shareasale is actually having them run a compliance test to see if their system is working properly. It may end up helping a lot of other people get their credits.

I have never had a credit come through for Container Store. So that would be a good one to file so that I can follow up and see if it is an isolated incident or a system-wide problem on their end.

Ok Tricia if it will help SR out I'm all for it. I just didn't want to cause a hassle over something that was less than a dollar. :)
