I'm afraid not. We're waiting for Nicki, but I think it will be mid-October or late-October.

Hello, friend. I have been super busy with work. Won't bore you with the details. Those are on my PTR.:lmao: I am so glad that you had such a wonderful time with Nicky and that you really were able to enjoy Marco Island. Oh, how I dream of living down there...someday it will happen. :goodvibes

Cannot wait to hear about your big suprise...and I saw you mentioned something about getting a Keurig coffee maker. My husband and I have been convinced for sometime now that we are incapable of making a decent pot of coffee at home, which was our constant excuse for buying it out and, as you know Kathy, going to Starbucks can become a costly little habit! ;) Needless to say, we love it. It makes a great cup of coffe, every time and there are a ton of varieties to choose from, so, yes, I would strongly recommend one.

Note to Nicki, the first part of Oct is much better than the middle or later half. :)

Ms. Kat, I'm not posting much, but it doesn't mean I'm not reading! :goodvibes I'm loving all your reports of your trip to WDW and now Marco Island.

I've never seen a jellyfish in person, I'm glad I know what to look for in the water, my DH said when he went to Fl. (many moons ago) he was stung by one when he was in the ocean. He said it hurt like heck but didn't have any other effects. I hear if you pee on the site where you were stung or should I say if someone else pee's on the site where you were stung it makes the pain go away. :confused3
Is anyone else thinking of a certain episode of Friends? :lmao:

Great updates, my son loves manetees. When we went to Orlando 2 years ago we went to Sea World and out of all the animals there, he loved the manetee's and wanted a stuff animal and he sleeps with Piglet and a manetee. I told him we might not go to Sea World in December and he said he needs to visit his friends the manetee's but my husband said lets add another day to our vacation so he can spend a day in Sea World. I remember they have manetee in Epcot but we promise him Sea World.
Counting our days to Disney....:santa:

Looks like you guys had a great dinner together! Those drinks look good, even if they were a little strong!

The next day looked nice and relaxing, what a pretty beach! I can't believe you can see manatees, just swimming around in the ocean! (Well, even if you didn't see one, at least there was a chance!) That's so strange to me, I'd love to see a manatee!:lovestruc

I'm afraid not. We're waiting for Nicki, but I think it will be mid-October or late-October.

That's when I'm thinking of going next year! I hope our trips overlap so we can meet up! :)

Oh, Kathy, I LOVED the pics of the rain outside the balcony - palm trees swaying in the wind, so pretty.

Your dinner looks scrumptious! The drinks made me loopy just looking at the pics :upsidedow...but all the pics of you all are fabulous and you all look great! :cheer2:

Beach pics are wonderful...darn, those jellyfish are HUGE! The ones I saw as a kid were tiny things and those were a bit scary, but these look like something out of a horror movie.

Looking forward to your Saturday shopping day. That is bound to be a great read! ::yes::

Looks like a nice day at the beach :goodvibes Though I am personally terrified of seagulls :rotfl: they don't look so bad in pictures lol

Yay, I was not far behind this time!

Your dinners does look yummy. We love japanese steakhouses. They way the meat is prepared or the cut always make it so tender.

The beach looks lovely. My mil and fil were just down on annamaria island. They really love it down there and are going back down in march. They have invited us to stay with them. I love reading about your beach vacation...it gives me an idea of what I could look forward to. I am not certain I will be going. Maybe your report will inspire me to want to go.. :rolleyes1

Jellyfish are such strange critters. We have some up this way in the sound...No manatees though. I think those would be more fun to see.

Finally made it over and am all caught up :goodvibes

What lovely goodies you had on arrival, a magical start to a magical vacation :)

Bummer about CSR not adding your park tickets on, but luckily it was all sorted speedily and you got FP's for TSM too :)

I cannot tell you how many people we encountered on our trip that we wanted to shake some sense into etc I'm with you on the "yeah kids get antsy" part, but then the parents should do something English speaking or not as its common courtesy really right?

You both did really well in Animation Class, you're lucky your picture is so good that I can let the Stitch comment slide ;)

Loving all the hat pics, you should do a whole post of them at the end of the report and get everyone to vote for their favourite :teeth:

Great pictures from the Dig Site, those bags really were handy for your Dis Meet :)

Loving all the Halloween decorations, the house looks fantastically spooky :goodvibes

Looks like you had a great time at the Halloween party and score for getting Pooh and the gang at the end of it. This was your first party as well wasn't it? What was your fav part of the night?

Boma breakfast looked really good, must try that at some point :)

Love your Miss Bunny pic, she is sooo cute. Was she soft too?

Avery and Cayley are so cute, sounds like you had a blast with them and Mary :)

Yay for your Dismeet with Sophia and Joe, can't wait to meet them next year :)

Score on getting an empty Character Spot at Epcot. When Dave went with the Soarin masses I trailed behind and glanced in the window and saw it empty as well and they were all dancing etc was quite cute :)

How cute is Marie, love her character :)

Great purchases from DTD, love the castle shirt, really nice :)

I love your Halloween costume so retro, have you found the boots to go with yet?

I love your encounter with Push and Stitch wasn't that bad now was he :teeth:

I love your tradition at the end of the trip with the balloon. Your dad would have been smiling down proudly that day

How amazing to end the last part of your vacation by winning $1000 :teeth:

Looks like you had a great meal that night, looks so yummy :)

Your beach day looked like fun, shame you didn't see any manatees though.

So far sounds like you had a great vaca, looking forward to more :goodvibes

Whew Kathy I didn't realise I was soooooo far behind !!Loving all the pix of Marco and Nicki and Todd !! The food pix (that Grumpy let you take:rotfl2: !!!!) are awesome!!!

Mary Az I am prolly going in mid October on another free trip!!!!!

Cannot wait to hear about your big suprise.

Tina...no worries...we all get busy and find our DIS time dwindle.

Mark has a goal now...if we DON'T win the lotto, he wants to move to Florida in five years. So we will work toward that goal.

The big surprise will be in the next update.

Note to Nicki, the first part of Oct is much better than the middle or later half.

Nicki, did you SEE that?

Ms. Kat, I'm not posting much, but it doesn't mean I'm not reading! :goodvibes I'm loving all your reports of your trip to WDW and now Marco Island.

The problem with the jellyfish is you don't know which ones are really poisonous and will kill you with their sting. I was very careful in the ocean this trip.

Great updates, my son loves manetees. When we went to Orlando 2 years ago we went to Sea World and out of all the animals there, he loved the manetee's and wanted a stuff animal and he sleeps with Piglet and a manetee. Counting our days to Disney....

We've not done Sea World in over 14 years and I'd really like to go back there. You'll have to let me know how it is. There's not much with the manatees at Epcot...there are only the two and they don't move much because they are in a rather small tank.

Your trip is getting closer and closer.

Looks like you guys had a great dinner together! Those drinks look good, even if they were a little strong!

That's when I'm thinking of going next year! I hope our trips overlap so we can meet up! :)

It was a great dinner and the drinks were reallly good.

It is a beautiful beach. We still have a couple of days left so we'll have to see if we see a manatee before we leave.

Nicki is going to call me when she is there next month and let me know what the bounceback is and book two rooms if possible.

Oh, Kathy, I LOVED the pics of the rain outside the balcony - palm trees swaying in the wind, so pretty.

Looking forward to your Saturday shopping day. That is bound to be a great read! ::yes::

They were HUGE jellyfish, Christine. Last year we saw small ones and big ones, but these were just huge!

Marco's beach is gorgeous and SO CLEAN!

Looks like a nice day at the beach :goodvibes Though I am personally terrified of seagulls :rotfl: they don't look so bad in pictures lol

The seagulls won't hurt you...they'll come up close...especially if you have food (they really wanted our pretzels). :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yay, I was not far behind this time!

Oh yeah... and:rotfl::rotfl: on the "mine mines"

It had been a few years since we went to a Japanese steakhouse and I'm so glad Nicki suggested it--we really enjoyed it.

You should go with your parents. The beach is a great place to just sit and relax and watch the fish and the dolphins and, of course, the Mine Mine's. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Whew Kathy I didn't realise I was soooooo far behind !!Loving all the pix of Marco and Nicki and Todd !! The food pix (that Grumpy let you take:rotfl2: !!!!) are awesome!!!

Hi, Rosie! Of course you were far behind...you were at Disney. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yeah, Grumpy got a little stingy with my "food porn" at the end of the trip. I have already informed him that my DIS family is NOT happy with him and it won't happen next time. :thumbsup2

Finally made it over and am all caught up :goodvibes

What lovely goodies you had on arrival, a magical start to a magical vacation :) The CSR and Karin and Tom were very generous.

Bummer about CSR not adding your park tickets on, but luckily it was all sorted speedily and you got FP's for TSM too :) It was easily fixed thankfully.

I cannot tell you how many people we encountered on our trip that we wanted to shake some sense into etc I'm with you on the "yeah kids get antsy" part, but then the parents should do something English speaking or not as its common courtesy really right? I keep saying...it ALL starts with the parents.

You both did really well in Animation Class, you're lucky your picture is so good that I can let the Stitch comment slide ;) :laughing:I wondered if you would catch that. ;)

Loving all the hat pics, you should do a whole post of them at the end of the report and get everyone to vote for their favourite :teeth: Good idea. I think I will do that.

Great pictures from the Dig Site, those bags really were handy for your Dis Meet :) The bag worked out perfect.

Loving all the Halloween decorations, the house looks fantastically spooky :goodvibesThankn you.

Looks like you had a great time at the Halloween party and score for getting Pooh and the gang at the end of it. This was your first party as well wasn't it? What was your fav part of the night?

Boma breakfast looked really good, must try that at some point :) You definitely should put it on your list for your honeymoon trip--you and Dave will love it.

Love your Miss Bunny pic, she is sooo cute. Was she soft too? She was very soft.

Avery and Cayley are so cute, sounds like you had a blast with them and Mary :) We did--they are two sweet little Princesses.

Yay for your Dismeet with Sophia and Joe, can't wait to meet them next year :) You will LOVE them. I just hope their trip next year has less drama than this one!

Score on getting an empty Character Spot at Epcot. When Dave went with the Soarin masses I trailed behind and glanced in the window and saw it empty as well and they were all dancing etc was quite cute :) We had never seen it as empty as it was and figured this was our opportunity.

How cute is Marie, love her character :) First time we ever saw her.

Great purchases from DTD, love the castle shirt, really nice :) Thanks.

I love your Halloween costume so retro, have you found the boots to go with yet? No, not yet. I found one pair but they were over $40 and I really don't want to spend that. I've got six days to find them.

I love your encounter with Push and Stitch wasn't that bad now was he :teeth: He was okay. ;)

I love your tradition at the end of the trip with the balloon. Your dad would have been smiling down proudly that day  Thank you, Stefy.

How amazing to end the last part of your vacation by winning $1000 :teeth:It was quite nice.

Looks like you had a great meal that night, looks so yummy :) It really was.

Your beach day looked like fun, shame you didn't see any manatees though. We still have a few days leftg so we may have....

So far sounds like you had a great vaca, looking forward to more :goodvibes

Welcome back, Stefy. We missed you. I hope you and Dave are feeling better. I can't wait to hear about your trip. I've comments to your comments in red above.

I had hoped to post an update tonight but I am just wiped out. I got in one of my "cleaning" moods and did all the rooms -- vacuum, dust, windows in three bedrooms, bathrooms, floors. Then I went through my clothes for what I'm not wearing anymore and put in a box for Goodwill and then I cooked dinner and went through Mark's clothes and put aside a bucnh of them on his son's bed for him to go through.

So you will all have to wait until tomorrow to hear about Nicki's and my shopping day and the BIG surprise that day and then our dinner that night.

Holy cow, you sure did a lot! I miss those moods though. Now that I don't have my own place, it just never feels the same to clean someone else's home..and living with DD do not want to overstep.:thumbsup2

Small hijack: I lost track of when Amy was leaving for Disney - was it last Thursday? Hope they are having a great weather and a magical time.:goodvibes

Oh Kathy a Cliffhanger !!!!

Yes, Rosie. And won't ALL of you be surprised (and then I have another one for the end of this TR).

I get in those moods every once in awhile. Next weekend -- it's the basement!

I think they left late last week.

Caught up again :thumbsup2. I love your beach pictures. The view from your condo was awesome too; I could live like that.......
