A More Complete Candlelight List!

Wanted to see Heather or Marlee (BIG West Wing fan!), but turns out, we will have Kirk Franklin on 12/3. First thought: "Who?!"...Second thought: "Gospel singer? Could be promising." Anyone else there that night?

Is it translated in spanish?
No. There is a sign-language interpreter each night (except, obviously, the nights that Marlee Matlin is narrating), but that's the only regular translation. When Edward James Olmos narrates, he often reads parts of the narration in Spanish, and he always makes some comments at the end of the show, often in Spanish.

Me too! I truly want to believe that the REAL people in the REAL West Wing are as funny, smart and literate as the NBC versions. I know they're not, but I really WANT to believe ....

But you can see plenty from standing in the back as your passing correct? I mean you will be able to see the celeb?

I will be there when Kirk Franklin and Jim Caviezel are there. I am not familiar with either... should I plan to see on or the other thanks!!!

Kirk Franklin is the P'Diddy of the gospel music industry.
Not with the flashy and problems that Sean Combs has, Just a large influence on many groups and music of all types.
His big radio hit was "Stomp" it was a big song several years ago. I think Puff Daddy (what he was called then) rapped on it along with others.

Jim Caviezel played Jesus in "The Passion of Christ" also he was in "The Count of Monte Cristo" and others.

Kirk Franklin will give a reading that is emotional and energetic that is common with the culture of "Black Pastors."

I don't know about Jim Caviezel, based on his acting skills and what I have seen in interviews his reading may be more mellow and some what shy, but very convincing and believable.

Planning a trip for October. I figure it'll be nuts there then, just a month before elections. Hee.

I'd love to see Edward James Olmos. If anyone else around here is old enough to remember him, he was in Miami Vice, the very cool, calm policeman (can't remember the character's name).

He has revived his career as playing "Commander Adama" on the new "Battlestar Galactica" series that will start in January. It spined off of a mini-series that aired last year. He did well in the role that used to be played by Loren Green.

What are his moving comments at the end?

He does a beautiful speech about how we are not white and black and Hispanic and Asian ... that there is only one race, the human race. It's really a lovely sentiment to close with, and he conveys it beautifully.
