A little paranoid

I will be traveling to CBR this spring break alone with my DS7 and DD4. I really don't want to rent a car since our plane gets in at 9:15 in the evening. I hate to hire a town car because after all I won't know the driver. I know it would be more comfortable than the Mears shuttle but I have reservations about being alone with a person driving us around at night that I have never met. Call me paranoid but that's me. What have others thought about the shuttle and what other options may there be?

In theory, if your hotel is the last one and everyone else is going to another hotel, you could end up alone with the shuttle driver. It's not likely but is definitely possible. We use Happy Limo a lot and much prefer the convenience of a towncar; even if I was alone, I would still go that route. If you book a towncar, be up front about your concerns. If you are more comfortable with a certain sex of driver, tell them so and see if they will accommodate you.
