Who knew contact lens solution could be such a budget buster. I needed to purchase some more contact lens solution and I've been finding the cheapest way to get it is to order from Walmart for in-store pickup, usually saves me a couple of bucks over in-store price, so went to Walmart.com and a two pack that is normally around $15 was listed for $1397.00.

I've emailed Walmart to let them know I think someone has entered something incorrectly but it hasn't been updated yet.

Does that include Lasik eye surgery as well? :scared1:

The pricing error aside, remember that solution is an eligible FSA item, even though it is OTC. Be sure to put the money in your FSA for it and save your receipts if you don't have an FSA debit system.

lolol at that price... but, I always get mine "free". I get it at either CVS or walgreens where it is usually on sale where you buy it then get the money back in extra bucks or register rewards....

With my new contacts, I couldn't wear them for more than 4 hours before ripping them out of my eye. Previous contact brand I wore from 5 am unitl I went to bed which is around midnight weekdays and sometimes 3 am on weekends.

I always used Walmart generic (which is last year's formulation of Renu.) I read up on contact solution and Renu (and Walmart) is highly NOT recommended for the silicon hydragel contacts. So I switched and tried everything else. Still couldn't wear more than 4 hours.

Then I tried Clear Care. Amazing stuff! I went from 4 hours of wear to I take them out every 3 days or so to soak. I rotate 2 pairs so I can let them clean and soak for 3 days while wearing the other pair day and night for those days.

Clear Care is worth every penny.

It never occurred to me to buy online and pick up in the store. Thank you CKBear! What a great money saving tip.
