A little confused over the 60+10

Ok so I have a 3 resort split stay:

1 night at Swan
Followed by 2 nights at Grand Floridian
Followed by 3 nights at the Polynesian

Yesterday, my dining window opened up for Swan which allowed me to book 2/22 and my check out day 2/23. I know you always get to book your checkout day.

This morning, my GF stay opened up and I expected 2/23 (even though I already had it booked and 2/24) - 2/25 was also open - that’s my checkout day at GF. All good got what we wanted. 2/25 also happens to be my Polynesian check in day. I assume this was open because it’s my check out day, not because it’s a check in day as well.

One of the dining calculators I use says I can’t book the 25th, 26th and 27th until December 27th when checking in on February 25th - I would have thought it would be tomorrow-there’s no gap in my dates 2/22-2/28. Or, it would be today since it’s 60+10?

My counting must be off?

The 60+10 doesn’t recognize split stays. So with 3 separate reservations/check-in dates you have 3 separate 60+ ADR dates. You may be able to get a phone CM to override but if not you will have to wait for the 60 days from that last checkin date.

60+10 refers to check-in plus up to 10 days after check-in depending on length of stay. You don't check in to Poly until 2/27, so your ADR window for that stay opens on 12/27.

12/27 is 60 days prior to a 2/25 check-in. It’s an actual 60 days not “2 months” — both Dec. and Jan. have 31 days.

Dec and Jan have 31 days. I think that’s causing your Poly ADRs to not open until 27th

Ah that’s it! I won’t bother calling - I’ll just wait for Friday to book the rest. I really wish they’d fix the system to recognize split stays but we’ve been saying it for. Thanks everyone!

We check into the Polynesian on 2/25 (same day we check out of GF).
