Are people really so stupid as to fall for these, or indeed, to think that we will fall for them??? No doubt this will find it's way to other Disers so bin it immediately if it does. DO NOT REPLY to it as this only verifies to the sender that your email address is valid! Be vigilant peeps!

I'm always getting these types of email as well.I suppose someone some where will fall for it though!

Also know as 419 scammers. This sites tells you all about it.

I remember a programme where a retired couple had been taken for £400,000

These scammers are playing on people's greed

I hear that Viruses, Spam and the like are going to be up this month; brace yourselves guys!

Then again, if they are as silly as these I don't think we will have any problems.

Another common one is the e:mail telling you that you have won the Spainish lottery and you have to pay out first to get the money.

Somebody at my work gave out his bank details and so nearly sent the money but he stopped at the last moment because he thought he detected a Nigerian accent from the susposed spainish lady he had been contacting.
