Posting from the Hilton Universal City. Playing park hookie today but visiting Universal Studios tomorrow. Read a little.

Thanks everyone. I had a great time meeting Alison and now Angela. Xander talked Angela's ear off until Crap moved him. Then, I talked her ear off. We discovered the hard way there is more than one Wolfgang Puck Express. My family went to the wrong one of course. I later discovered there was one on the other side of the main restaurant after booking it all the way back to marketplace from the west side. An employee pointed me in the right direction but never mentioned there were two! Crap and I had a good laugh when we discovered the second one (had we only walked around the restaurant).

The funniest part of Xander's score with my meeting with Alison was he just walked right up to the bar and starting ordering. I was proud and embarrassed at the same time. Overall, I just thought it was funny. That kid always gets what he wants. Xander really liked both Alison and Angela, as did I. Connor slept through meeting Angela but did get a chance to meet Alison. Crap is a little more reserved than I am, but he was glad I got to do my meets.

Yes, PIO, it would be awesome to have my third. I wonder who it will be!

Last minute trip had its ups and downs, but also magical moments. Loved, loved, loved the MNSSHP -- hope to go again; like so much at WDW, can't do it all in one trip.

It was a solo trip meeting up with family for part of the time. I love going solo, and it's so much less expensive. Stayed in an off-property timeshare, did my own food (only one meal at WDW and a couple of snacks), have an AP, so mostly just the cost of gas (and souvies from the outlets). I do make it a 2-day drive so also motel costs; most folks can drive from Asheville in one day, but that's too hard at my age).

Next scheduled trip is during DGS' spring break, so much more complicated.

Glad you had a good trip. You're right you can't do it all in one trip. I think that is one reason I love WDW. We do something new each time.
