So glad to hear about your talk with Joy. Sometimes getting your concerns off of your chest to someone who seems like they may be able to change or fix the situation seems to make all the difference in the world (no pun intended)---even if they can't solve your particular problem. However you do it, hope you get all of the ADRs you are hoping for on Saturday, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for you!

On a more confusing note, two weeks ago when I signed in to make my October ADRs, I put in my ressie number to pull up my 90+however many and was able to make ADRs for the full 90+10 even though we are only staying for 2 nights. I'm hoping it works the same way with our December trip since we have our first night in cash and the rest on DVC points, but with my luck---I may need to hit you up for Joy's direct number in September

Are you still planning on giving the online system a try? With annnewjerz having success and I've read others on the DVC forum having success it might be worth a try. Then again you'd get an additional hour of sleep if you do the phone only.

Hopefully you won't be on hold for too long on Saturday. I hope you get all the reservations you want . Do you think we should have a back up restaurant if 'Ohana doesn't have room for all of us?

Ah yes! The Disney Guest Service shines through once again and LeCellier will be yours one way or another! I hope you do not have to call her back; however, it is a nice 'safety net'.

For our December, DVC-4-linked-reservations Trip , we are doing much of our dining in the room, so I will only have a few to make thankfully!

Glad you got to laugh a bit... hope the shaking didn't hurt your foot!! I see you're down to your last week of "Das Boot."

I hope this is the last week. The swelling hasn't gone down at all...and I'm still in pain... We'll see what this week brings and what the Doc says!

Oh, that's not good news. Hopefully, things will improve soon.

I'm having a little trouble with plantar fasciitis myself... going to the podiatrist soon... hope I don't have to give up my Crocs!!!

The whole 90-day thing... for park hours and for ADRs... has really been a thorn in my side this trip. I'm hoping that I don't have the good fortune to be granted all my ADRs only to see park hours later that day and realize I need to change my schedule around!!

Yes, I'll give it a shot.... but I'll be too revved up to go back to sleep!! The best part is that its going to be Saturday morning, so no worries about getting either of the kids up and out the door for school or camp!!

Hmmm. I think we'll be okay... 5:00 PM is kind of early for most people, so I'm not worried. When we were there in '07 I saw several large parties seated in the dining room...

If you'd feel better having a back up, though, I'm open to suggestions. We'll probably be PMing like crazy as the trip gets nearer!!

The phone call probably wasn't what she expected... a DVC member griping and complaining... it felt more like just a conversation about the good and the bad variables that affect our trip-planning.

Thank you, too! Walt Disney always said that it was the people who make the magic at WDW, not the rides shows, and it is still so true.

Joy sounded like a very wonderful CM and I'm glad you had a chance to vent it out w/ her and it seems she really cared, and as most CM's do I'm glad to hear that she will go above and beyond to help you if something doesn't quite work out. What an angel

Also you would laugh but DH & I had some DFI last night...we are watching some TV after the kids went to bed, well actually me I'm secretly addicted to SYTYCD and the host mentioned the tour this fall > Matt then mentioned that They Might Be Giants will be on tour this fall and doing a family show, he wants to take the kids > I then say oh I love their Disney kid tv show theme songs
