Good point. One of them has a zipper close, so that seems secure. (I would keep my wallet inside the main compartment, of course.) The other pocket with magnetic close would still be good for things like tissues or wet-wipes... stuff that is easily expendable.

Again, its so hard to tell from pictures... I'll have to get it in my hot little hands before I can really judge...

Wow, not sure how I missed all these updates. You changed bags. I think we should keep count on how many bag changes you make before your trip, you still have plenty of time you could probably break LL's (Lady Lallie) record!

I don't think I have the $$ to buy any more bags... I just dropped a bundle buying new summer wardrobes for the kids!

Oh, if they could only stay the same size for two summers in a row!!!

I did buy 2 new pairs of Crocs sandals (Adara) for myself, though. Not bad, considering that besides my DIS-Crocs, I've been wearing the same two pairs of summer sandals for the past 10 years....

All the more reason to not spend more on a parade of bags.

I'm even starting to feel guilty about the $$ spent on the rejected Carmel bag... I'll probably wind up returning it if the Catalina bag works out!

I'm not sure if the "string" bags would hold a lot (?) I definitely like the sling/one shoulder style, though.

Truth is, I really should just bite the bullet and get a locker. Then I wouldn't need such a big bag....

Not really. I know we will do a backpack... I have always carried a sleeping beauty tote for the impt stuff... and left backpack on stroller. We will be hauling more park stuff this year (LUKE stuff--- ) so I have to do a test run this week.

It is a nice bag. I do think it would make a great carry on. Dont put much in it and then you can load it full for the trip home, just think how many things you buy at Disney to put in it.

And, it was on sale after all!!

Nothing like peer pressure. Sometimes, I just need someone to talk me into keeping or buying something for myself.

Tell Ed that that what bag to take is a very important decision and must be discussed thoroughly before a fiunal decision is made. Remind him that the right bag could make or break his vacation

I do sometimes miss having a stroller! Between the basket underneath and the bag holders on the handle, that was a lot of hauling power!!

I try to keep the luggage down to one bag each, plus a carryon each for Ed and me. The Carmel bag has an awsome padded secton for a laptop, so if Ed decides to bring his laptop again, I think it would be better to use it instead of Ed's backpack.

That blue bag looks great. Wish I saw that before our trip. I have a baggalini messenger bag that has tons of pockets. But it does give me a backache sometimes. Before our trip I ordered a VB hipster. It worked good for the most part. It was a tiny bit over stuffed . It was good because I was able to get a retired colored and it was only $25. As far as MNSSHP maybe you can call and see if they can switch your tickets. The worst they will say is no .

I always say the same thing! But "They" already said no.... I asked if exchanges were allowed when I purchased the tickets.

(At that time, there was no Nov. 1st party.) The reservationist said no exchanges, all sales final. Well, I was afraid that the only other party night during our visit (Halloween night) would get sold out, so I took a chance and just bought the tickets.

Oh well, sometimes gambles don't pay off...

But I'm really not too upset because now we're going down to WDW a day earlier!

Oh my... I don't check in for a few days and I come back to 5 or 6 pages of bag talk! Yikes!!

Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but this is exactly why I am dreading the day we have to forgo a stroller! Sounds like you might need one, or a shopping cart, to push around all of your stuff. My shoulders & back hurt just looking at all the stuff you carry. I'm sure I'll be in the same boat in the next year or two when I can't overstuff a backpack and leave it in the stroller all day.

I've got to admit, hearing about someone's Halloween trip was making me jealous since MNSSHP is something I have always wanted to do---and since you dropped by on my PTR, you know that now I am gonna get to do it!

I'd like to dress as a couple, but if we can't decide on anything that will work with both of us, separate is okay too.

DH isn't into the idea of dressing up and I know it'll be warm so that automatically excludes anything too over the top---plus I can't wear face paint because of using my camera and I don't want to spend too much on the costumes because we want to go CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP, so a lot of things (like Beauty and the Beast as you mentioned) are automatically out.

Hmmmm. I have a feeling this is going to be harder than I thought!

I think I've come up with something lightweight, inexpensive and a litttttle better than a t-shirt, but of course, I'll be revealing that in my own PTR to get another reader if possible.

I'm up to 2 now (including myself)---that's got to be some kind of record.

Tricia and Catie change their minds every time the wind blows from a different direction!

(Although there's been some talk of them joining the pirate crew.)
