A bag thread? Really? maybe I should start one.."show your peeps pix..."![]()
Well, I am glad you are rethinking the bag before you go. It would be a total bummer to get there and have it not work out!
The new bag looks great! Another bag to get excited about![]()
There's a flip flop thread....that I read before I left....and am now the proud owner of Reef flip flops. Bought my first (SO COMfortable~) pair first night at MK, in the shop across from the Jungle Cruise. That is a GREAT store. Then a couple days later, went to the Vanity Fair store at Lake Buena Vista outlets & bought 3 more pairs of Reefs, different styles, at such a good price.
I remember the first time I planed to wear my lime green Crocs Caymans to WDW... see pic in my siggy... Ed thought I was crazy! To him, the only "proper" footwear for the parks is a good pair of running shoes and cushy socks. "You'll get blisters!" he warned!
Well, no blisters and my feet felt fine! Besides, you can't put Disney jibbitz on your Nikes!!
Kathy
I have a really high arch so the style of Crocs I have (I think it's called the Madilini, or something like that!) rubs my foot a bit raw if I wear them day after day.
DH can't wear his Crocs at ALL. He's worn them twice and both times they rubbed the top of his foot just raw. It's awful!
Oh man-there is NO way I could do socks and running shoes. Because my DH can't find a good park shoe (aside from his Keens), he often does this as well.
I had a wonderful treat come in the mail yesterday from tnkrbelle565...
We had been talking a while back about park music and I mentioned that when we went in October, I wanted to get the Hallowishes/MNSSHP music. Kristine had the cd and was kind enough to copy it for me so we could listen to it before our Halloween trip!!Thanks, Kristine!!
There's nothing like Disney music to get you even more psyched for your next trip to the World!!
I was taking Billy to the library and I popped it into the van's cd player to surprise him. He loved it!! The first song has little bits of various "villain" theme songs in it and Billy sat in the back listening and calling out each movie as the music changed... "The Little Mermaid!" (Ursula)..."101 Dalmations!" (Cruella)..."Aladdin!" (Jafar). He really enjoyed listening to a brand-new collection of Disney music!
I'm sure we'll be listening to this a lot, especially as we get closer to Halloween!!By then, Billy will have memorized all the songs. He loves singing and humming along to parade/fireworks music and I know that this will really add to his enjoyment of the MNSSHP. Music is really his "thing!"
Thanks again, Kristine!!
Kathy
.... I thought Aisling would be scared of them...but nope!!! Even though she was only 4 and it was midnight after a full park day...no meltdown at all. Walked right up to them after the show to say Hi!

Well of course she wasn't afraid.... after all, The Force was with her!!
Kathy
No, no, no! A "Show your BINDER BUDDY" thread!!!
Kathy
That is just so sweet about the CD!I can already picture Billy singing along with it all at WDW.

I have that CD and we love it! After our October trip, the kids had me play that in the car all the way up until I convinced them to let me start playing some Christmas music about a week before Christmas. Then after Christmas, right back to the Halloween songs!
Sara
Speaking of pirates, how's your pirate chest coming along?
Kathy
Oh, Billy listens to Christmas music all year long, especially the Chipmunks!!
