Speaking of commando..nekkid or not... I never did understand that kind of vacation. If anyone here is a commando (preferably clothed) maybe you can explain the fun to me? I mean a Disney parks commando, of course.

I prefer a little parks, some resort R&R, visiting the monorail resorts (even if we're staying at one)...sigh....LuvvsMickey you're sooo lucky to be planning a nice long WDW visit!!!!

Commando at Disney is getting there for rope drop and going nonstop, never resting, until the park closes at night! You're lucky if you get a bathroom break!

Good grief. Why would anyone want to do that? When I got home, I'd need a vacation from my vacation!

I'll be parking my tushie in a hammock with a beverage or two... and when I feel like it, I'll hop on a bus and head to a park for a few. Lather, rinse, repeat. Oh, and eat.

We go semi-commando. (I wear my crocs... can't have blisters!) We like to sleep in and get to the parks around 11. We go all afternoon, but do a TS dinner around 6. Sitting down in the AC for dinner for an hour gives us all a chance to refresh, and then we go through evening EMH. We will take 1 or 2 mornings where we go to the pool first, then lunch around 2, and then to the parks. Also a DTD day the same way.

By the way... here (rural NC anyway) commando means a guy with no unders. We also call it "free ballin'!"

Umm...tonight??? Probably never...I still haven't had lunch, and it's not looking promising...I've been on conference calls all day...I'm starving, but it DOES give me time to DIS!!!

I'm with you...

We are usually pretty on the go at WDW, though because we can usually only go for 4 or 5 days at a time. We usually don't have much down time, but with little ones are usually back in the room by 9pm. I would LOVE to go for a full 7 days or more, and have a whole non-park day (or 2 or 3).

Same here in PA. When I first joined the DIS, I thought there werre a lot of Disney Nuts who had issues with underwear

Must have Crocs. Yup, totally agree there. I'm up at the crack o' dawn. No sleeping in for me. My philosophy is I live on an iceberg and if I'm paying out the wazoo to vacation in the tropics, (humour me here) you can betchyer tushie I'm gonna take advantage of every waking moment. I've never had a dining reservation before. We're always too busy closing the parks.

Sounds like my house. I've got a basement full of neighbourhood kids - school is out - two t-bones in the fridge and no one to share them with. Woe woe woe.
