Good morning!!

Boy, did I miss some fun last night...NOT..talking about weight is one subject that gets me depressed....sigh...did I say back in Boston I walked 3 to 6 miles day and in the 3 yrs we've been here, nada? nothing, not one black?? NO SIDEWALKS!!!! What's wrong with these people??? I'm used to city, shops, a Mall within walking distance...funny, I'd walk to the mall and stop at the Italian bakery along the way. Yum...sigh..I miss the city.

Kathy, will you promise to bring me sweet rolls and long Johns when we meet at WDW???

HS renunions..ugh...besides the fact that I graduated so long ago I'd forgotten I'd gone to HS. Never attended one, never will...Don't think I'd know anyone anyway as my dad was in the military and I attended 11 schools in 12 yrs.

So, I'm thinking....since none of us drink that much, we could eat and drink our way around the World Showcase..the food will offset the sips of whatever we have along the way.

Good morning to all my chickadees! Won't even discuss my bathing suit...nope...not going there! Yes, Christine, I will bring you long johns and sweet rolls.

I'm thinking that I am going to spend Sunday (Father's Day) and go take a long walk somewhere. All the men in my house made plans and forgot that it was my first Father's Day without my dad (men!). So I think I'll take a walk and reflect and remember my dad and maybe stop at the local bar and have a drink in his honor....I can practice for our "drinking around the world."

Oh...but you can't make these Sweet Rolls...no no no...these are Chicago Sweet Rolls, which cannot be found outside of Chicagoland...and a few WI bakeries...ohhhh, I can smell those things right now!!

I've tried calling some Chicago bakeries (ones that ship other goodies), but not one will ship Sweet Rolls and Long Johns...

We used to bring home a bunch on the plane after every visit, but have not been home since my folks passed in 2002.

My mouth is watering....

Who cares about belly rolls if it means giving up such yummy goodies????

Well ... this has turned into a cliche thread and my last few posts were ignored so I guess I'll unsubscribe. Have a great time at WDW, LuvvsMickey . I enjoyed reading about your husband's family and your resort pickle.

Hrm... Not sure what I've ignored, but I apologize if I missed something. There are quite a few posts here and it's been hard to keep up at times. Thank you for your well wishes. I'm glad you enjoyed the pickle, which still is a pickle, but a new pickle. Hopefully, this pickle will be solved shortly.

Not a tornado, is it? Hope everything passes by without event. We have had tons of rain lately, too. I am a little worried about our oaks falling when the ground gets this wet. Just our luck, too! Christine... I'm sure you can sympathize... its either drought or flooding in NC!
