thanks for the kinds words! I have one more serious piece of advice.........know if you look better in white or Ivory, and stick with it even if your "perfect" dress doesen't come in your best color. I am a true redhead, and knew I would look horrible in white, so my dress was a very heavy rich cream satin.

fun piece of advice is find a friend with a cool convertible to ride to your reception....free and unique!

luckily my Dad restores cars for a hobby.......

(see link) and although it shows in pink, i want the trim in navy blue(so click on colors, then pick navy blue to see what i mean)--but he says it will clash and take away from the bouqet..what does everyone think?

i did see two more i liked.. they involve color and maybe a sash, i am really leaning toward that--skiingfast again thinks the color will detract from the bouqet of flowers..but i dont think so.. anyhow as soon as i get them i will post them

Pre wedding- eloping at a drive thru in Vegas in a sweet car. I'm dead serious about this one!! And then the real wedding/ceremony at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Here's a picture:
