1. Are the hot breakfast options standard for hotel guests or do you have to pay a supplement?

2. Can I request a park view for a standard room or are they for Castle Club/suites only? I'm sure read somewhere on here that some standard rooms have a partial park view but then I read elsewhere that this isn't true. Anyone know for sure?

3. The Fastpass that you get with standard rooms - is this just the normal sort of Fastpass that anyone can get just by putting their park ticket in the Fastpass machines? Not much of a perk if so :) I guess it's handy if the Fastpasses have all been distributed for a ride you want to do.

4. Is it noisy at night, with noise from the Park/Village?

Thank you!!

All breakfast items at the DLH, hot and cold, are inclusive - in fact they offer some items that aren't available elsewhere to my recollection.

This I can't say for sure, because we prefer to stay the Gardens side of the hotel. I think you'd be able to ask for a Park side room, but the chances of it having a Park view are fairly slim as there aren't many standard rooms that do.

It's like a voucher that you hand to the cast member at the FP queue on the ride of your choice so you can ride straight away - the benefit is that you don't need to get an FP first and wait for the time to come round. Of course it'll only be of any use if the FP queue is actually open; if there's no cast member there because the queue is closed, you can't use it on that ride

Not at all. If you've got your windows wide open in your room, you MIGHT hear some of the piped music that plays in the gardens / ticket turnstiles area floating up to you, but it's not enough to disturb you (and they turn it off once the park closes).

Interesting thread. We'll be staying at DLH as well and had a couple of questions myself if I can...

How do check in for breakfast? Do you get some sort of pass/ticket to prove you're a guest of the hotel? Do you get to pick between Inventions and California Grill? :confused3

Yes you show the hotel easy pass which you can also use to charge purchases to your room.

When I stayed there it was only CG open for breakfast so can't help with that I'm afraid. Bit when we've stayed at other onsite hotels we've had a choice.

Steve/Rob, can I ask why you prefer to styay the Gardens side of the hotel?

When you go for breakfast you get shown to a table so you don't really get a choice. You might be able to request a particular area thought if you wanted to.

Re the fastpasses, you get one per day per person and I think they're only valid between 1pm and 4pm (might be different with the later opening hours though).
Also, we had the VIP fastpass the other week and even though the fastpass lines were shut on a couple rides there were still CMs there and they happily waved us through.

When we stayed there we didn't hear any noise from the village. We could hear a few sounds from the park but I quite liked that. Having said that we were there when the park shut at 7pm, it could be a bit noisier with the park shutting later. You'll probably be in one of the wings though so you won't be right next to the entrance/exits.

Hi Tinkjon

We got back from DLH 2 weeks ago......

You can go to breakfast whatever time you like between 7.30-11.00
You will be seated in either Inventions or The Califoria Grill & the choice's
of food are the same for all--One day we were seated in the area for those who stay in A Suite :woohoo: & the only difference was it was a smaller quieter area with proper table cloths!!

Not sure with regards to requesting a certain area for your room--We were asked when booking in what room we would like from a choice of 2. We plumbt for a room 1 floor above the pool area-this was a quiet area with good Private access to & from the park.

The Fastpass works like this--you just go to your chosen Fastpass Ride & hand your voucher to the CM ( we too thought we had to first put it in one of those machine's ) Fastpass are not available for use between 1pm & 4pm.
We were also able to use our Fastpass on BTM when all available one's via the machine had gone.

With the park being open until the Dreams show finishes ( 11pmish ) & on the nights we went back early ( 9pm ) we never heard anything, probably because we were to tired to even notice.

Hope this helps. Have a great time. x

Ooops! NOT between 1 and 4 then! I knew there was some sort of restriction but it was over a year ago when we last had them!

Hi we are staying at DLH in september so if we wanted a quiet room, close to park anemities, with a possible view (asking a lot I know!!) What would we ask for, is there a preferred area of the hotel? Thanks
